- the fingers have a terminal thickening so as to slide on the barrel of the contact elements and to undergo no deformation and no permanent bending stress.
- the thickenings have an internal chamfer facilitating the insertion and extraction of the contact elements. They are bent only temporarily, during the insertion or extraction of the contact elements, so that no permanent deformation by fatigue can hinder disassembly.
