Definitions
- the invention relates to a control valve for a counterblow tap hole drilling machine, in particular pneumatic percussion mechanism for the propulsion, connected to a counterblow mechanism as a pulling device and a rotator for actuating a boring or beating bar, consisting of control slides, which the main air to the consumer and back as Lead exhaust air, whereby a quick exhaust is also provided, which quickly reduces the pressure of the exhaust air.
- a counterblow tap hole drill is used to quickly and safely open the tap hole on the frame of a blast furnace.
- the object of the invention is to switch off the run-down time when switching from one consumer to the other so that the consumers do not interfere with and destroy one another.
- the aim is achieved in that the axially movable control slide, which is provided with a valve plate and can be closed off from the main air, has at its distal end a control piston movable between the housing and the shaft of the control slide, an annular piston additionally sealingly engaging between the valve seat and the sealing seat on the control piston.
- control slide is guided at one end in the cover of the housing and with its distal end in the control piston and is operatively connected to the annular space and control channel at its end face with bores and groove. This creates the possibility that the remaining control air is discharged into the control air duct.
- a compression spring lies in a recess in the area of the end sealing surfaces of the control piston and the annular piston. This prevents the two pistons from getting stuck, as they can e.g. are not dependent on gravity.
- a counter-impact tap hole drilling machine is shown.
- the base plate 2 is suspended in a longitudinally displaceable manner on a carrier 1 via rollers 3 and wheel bearings 4.
- the impact bar 5 leads out of the counter-impact mechanism 7 and can be equipped with various tools.
- the rotator 8 is operatively connected to the impact bar 5 via a gear mechanism.
- the impact mechanism 6 is connected to the counter-impact mechanism 7 by a transition piece 9.
- the individual units are connected to one another by an air connection 10, in particular the control valves 11.
- the striking mechanism 6 and the counter-hammer mechanism 7 consist of one unit, the striking surfaces of the pistons acting on one another on the head of the transition piece 9.
- the impact energy is transmitted to the boring bar 5 via the transition piece 9 and the working tool screwed onto the front end of the transition piece.
- the rotator 8 is available for drilling operation and for releasing the working tools, the torque of which is transmitted to the transition piece 9 via a toothed shaft profile.
- the air supply to the two striking mechanisms 6, 7 and the rotator 8 takes place with the aid of a valve block, which consists of several valves 11. It is essential that all necessary control lines in the distribution block, i.e. are integrated in the housing of the valves 11. This is advantageous because the time-consuming closing of the cables can be omitted in the event of any disassembly.
- the percussion mechanism 6 can be used to predrill using a hollow boring bar and drill bit. Changing the boring bar for beating bar, punching through and then pulling with counter hammer 7. This ensures that a shorter drilling time, longer life of boring bar and crown, no sticking of the beating bar in the tap hole can be guaranteed.
- valve 11 in the housing 12 of which a central bore is provided, which is closed with a cover 13 and sealed with a sealing ring 26.
- a cavity 12a is provided in the interior of the housing 12 and is delimited by two opposite valve seats 17 and 19.
- a consumer duct 23 leads from this cavity 12a, followed by a consumer connector 14, from which further lines lead away.
- a control slide 15 is axially displaceable, the sealing being effected by means of a valve plate 16 which is fixedly arranged on the shaft and which is in contact with the valve seat 17. With the aid of a guide, the control slide 15 is guided in the cover 13 and sealed by a sealing ring 25, the guide space 30 and a recess 15a serving to receive a compression spring 34.
- a channel arranged on the side of the housing 12 serves as the main air channel 24 and is connected to the consumer channel 23 if the valve disk 16 is in an open position.
- control air duct 21 At the other end of the housing 12 there is a control air duct 21 and the exhaust air duct 22.
- the control piston 20 is arranged.
- a seal to the housing 12 is produced by the sealing ring 27.
- a blind bore is still in the center, in which the axially displaceable shaft of the control slide 15 is guided, the end face 32 is provided with a free space and sealed by a sealing ring 25.
- a bore 20a is arranged in this control piston 20 and is connected to the annular space 31 via a groove 20b.
- the control piston 20 is provided with a sealing seat 29.
- valve seat 19 and sealing seat 29 The space between valve seat 19 and sealing seat 29 is selected such that there is space for an annular piston 18 to be axially displaceable. This is also sealed with a sealing ring 25 against the shaft of the control slide 15.
- the exhaust air duct 22 is connected to the intermediate space. With the help of a compression spring 28, the control piston 20 and the annular piston 18 are pressed apart in the unpressurized phase. The control air passes through the control air duct 21 into the annular space 31, whereby the control piston 20 is moved from the end position and the control slide 15 through the valve plate 16 from the valve seat 17 takes off.
- the main air duct 24 is connected to the consumer duct 23. The consumers, hammer mechanism 6, counter hammer mechanism 7 and rotator 8 come into action.
- control piston 20 The movement of the control piston 20 is limited by the annular piston 18, whereby it is pressed against the sealing seat 19 in the housing 12. This prevents the consumer air from escaping via the exhaust air duct 22. Furthermore, the control air reaches the end face 32 of the control slide 15 via the annular space 31 and the bore 20a, as a result of which the latter is opened completely. The control slide 15 itself is limited in its movement by attachment 33 in the cover 13. The valve is now fully open. So that no air cushion is created in the guide space 30, a vent hole 35 is provided.
- the residual air from the consumer channel 23 can lift the annular piston 18 from the valve seat 19 and escape via the exhaust air channel; this ensures that the consumption comes to a standstill very quickly and does not hinder the counter-consumer.
- valves 11 It is also important that a reversal of the rotor 8 is possible by the combination of two valves 11. This is done in such a way that one of the valves 11 is actuated to supply the control air in the above-described mode of operation.
- the exhaust air from the rotator 8 is fed to the adjacent valve 11 via the consumer line 14.
- the annular piston 18 By lifting the annular piston 18 as a result of the residual pressure of the return air, the latter can escape via the exhaust air duct 22 into the air outlet.
- both valves 11 are acted upon alternately by control air, the left and right rotation of the rotator 8 is thus achieved. This is particularly important because an additional exhaust valve is not required because the exhaust valve is integrated in the main air valve.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a control valve for a counterblow tap hole drilling machine, in particular pneumatic percussion mechanism for the propulsion, connected to a counterblow mechanism as a pulling device and a rotator for actuating a boring or beating bar, consisting of control slides, which the main air to the consumer and back as Lead exhaust air, whereby a quick exhaust is also provided, which quickly reduces the pressure of the exhaust air.
A counterblow tap hole drill is used to quickly and safely open the tap hole on the frame of a blast furnace.
It is known to open the blast furnace for tapping with the help of blow rods and a pneumatic hammer or rock drilling machine so that the molten pig iron can flow out. The disadvantage is that such a rock drilling machine only works on one side. To loosen and pull out the boring bar, one had to rely on manual operation. It has therefore started to provide counter impact drills which, in combination with the hammer, also allow extraction by pneumatic support of the boring bar. This improved drilling method still has the disadvantage that twisting during drilling was not possible, so that a rotator was also necessary. These units were assembled together on a carriage and automated with the help of control valves. These valves naturally have a further disadvantage that when the striking machine or the counter-striking machine is switched off there is a run-on due to the kinetic energy in the exhaust air, but can also result from incorrect operation. This fact can have serious consequences if the hammer and counterblow hammer work against each other.
Proceeding from this prior art, the object of the invention is to switch off the run-down time when switching from one consumer to the other so that the consumers do not interfere with and destroy one another. According to the invention, the aim is achieved in that the axially movable control slide, which is provided with a valve plate and can be closed off from the main air, has at its distal end a control piston movable between the housing and the shaft of the control slide, an annular piston additionally sealingly engaging between the valve seat and the sealing seat on the control piston. This ensures that when switching the valve from one consumer to another, the kinetic energy, i.e. the pressurized residual air can escape suddenly, thus preventing the two pistons or their piston rods from hitting each other.
It is particularly advantageous if the control slide is guided at one end in the cover of the housing and with its distal end in the control piston and is operatively connected to the annular space and control channel at its end face with bores and groove. This creates the possibility that the remaining control air is discharged into the control air duct.
Furthermore, it is advantageous if a compression spring lies in a recess in the area of the end sealing surfaces of the control piston and the annular piston. This prevents the two pistons from getting stuck, as they can e.g. are not dependent on gravity.
- Fig. 1 Gegenschlag-Stichloch-Bohrmaschine in Ansicht,
- Fig. 2 Schaltventil im Schnitt.
- 1 counter-strike tap hole drilling machine in view,
- Fig. 2 switching valve in section.
In Fig. 1, a counter-impact tap hole drilling machine is shown. The
A cavity 12a is provided in the interior of the
By eliminating the pressing force, which acts on the
It is also important that a reversal of the
