Definitions
- the present invention relates to public works equipment and more specifically to opening buckets.
- buckets are generally constituted by a shield, substantially vertical, which is coupled to two movable arms carried by a self-propelled machine; at the upper part of this shield is hinged an equipment called “mobile pocket” which has two side walls connected to each other by a bottom.
- the lower part of the shield has a blade.
- the shield when the movable pocket is held in the high position, the shield can be used as a leveling blade; by bringing the mobile pocket against the shield, the front edge of the bottom of this pocket being provided with teeth, use the machine as a front loader; by raising and lowering this mobile pocket, the bucket / shield assembly can be used like a clamshell bucket to take up materials in heaps (sand, stones or others); finally, by maneuvering the bag, you can pinch products between the bottom of the bag and the blade and thus lift and transport them.
- This arrangement has the disadvantage of requiring a fairly large number of articulation parts, which means that it is quite expensive; cause immobilization of the mobile pocket; and permanently weigh down the tool with the weight of this additional equipment.
- the object of the present invention is to eliminate these drawbacks by proposing very simple equipment, which is easy to set up and remove.
- the bucket according to the present invention comprises a frame 1, coupled in 2 to lifting arms, not shown, of a self-propelled public works machine, also not shown.
- This chassis 1 is also connected to the self-propelled machine by a hydraulic cylinder making it possible to pivot it around the coupling pins 2.
- This chassis 1 carries a shield 3, substantially vertical, provided at its base with a leveling blade 4.
- This chassis 1 also carries a shaft 5 (or two journals arranged on the same axis) carrying a mobile pocket constituted by two lateral cheeks 6 and a bottom 7.
- the cheeks 6 each have an extension 6a and these two extensions 6a are connected to each other by a shaft 8 to which is attached the end of the rod 9 of a jack 10 articulated to its other end to the coupling axis 2.
- This pocket is shown in solid lines in the closed position, the rear 7a of its bottom 7 being in contact with the blade 4; and in dotted lines in the open position.
- the front part of the bottom 7 of this movable pocket 6-7 is provided with teeth 7b.
- a bucket constituted by the shield 3 and the mobile pocket 6-7 is known and is called multi-function bucket because it can be used: as a leveler, as a front loader, as a bucket and as a gripping tool.
- this fork is constituted by a plurality of palletizing teeth 11 (at least two) pivotally mounted on at least two tilting yokes 12, these yokes being pivotally mounted on an axis 13 carried by supports 14 welded to the frame 1.
- the teeth 11 can be brought into the retracted position behind the shield 3, as shown in dashed lines.
- the palletizing fork constituted by the teeth 11, is locked in the inactive position, retracted, by locking pins 15 carried by supports 16, integral with the rear face of the shield 3; it is kept in the active position by its weight and by pressing against the front edge 17c of the bottom 7 of the movable pocket, the teeth 11 being arranged so as to fit between the teeth 7b.
- This arrangement has the drawback of requiring a large number of parts to articulate the teeth 11 of the palletizing fork and of overloading the weight of the bucket, since these parts are not removable: the carrying capacity of the bucket is therefore reduced by 'as much.
- the palletizing fork 20 is constituted by a plurality of teeth 21 whose front portion 21a intended to pass under the pallets is straight; the rear part 21b being curved so as to pass above the bottom 7 of the pocket 6-7; this rear part 21b being folded down so as to pass below the level of the rear edge 7a of said bottom 7 and beyond this edge; so that it can be pinched between the blade 4 and the rim 7a of the bottom 7.
- each tooth 21 is provided with two stops: a first stop 22, located at the junction between the parts 21a and 21b, and shaped so that the front edge 7c of the bottom 7 is fitted between the underside of the teeth 21 and said stop 22; a second stop 23, constituted by a flat iron which comes to bear against the lower edge of the shield 3.
- the teeth 21 are arranged between the teeth 7b disposed on the front edge 7c of the bottom of the pocket.
- One can shape their side walls so that they fit between these teeth.
- the teeth 7b are of the removable type in order to be able to be changed, that is to say are hollow and include a housing which is fitted on a fixed nose
- the teeth 21 of the fork palletizing comprise a hollow housing of corresponding shape coming to be embedded on said fixed nose.

Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to public works equipment and more specifically to opening buckets.
These buckets are generally constituted by a shield, substantially vertical, which is coupled to two movable arms carried by a self-propelled machine; at the upper part of this shield is hinged an equipment called "mobile pocket" which has two side walls connected to each other by a bottom. The lower part of the shield has a blade. Thus, when the movable pocket is held in the high position, the shield can be used as a leveling blade; by bringing the mobile pocket against the shield, the front edge of the bottom of this pocket being provided with teeth, use the machine as a front loader; by raising and lowering this mobile pocket, the bucket / shield assembly can be used like a clamshell bucket to take up materials in heaps (sand, stones or others); finally, by maneuvering the bag, you can pinch products between the bottom of the bag and the blade and thus lift and transport them.
It is known to add a function to these moving pocket buckets by hinging a palletizing fork at the upper part of the shield which is retracted by tilting it towards the rear of said shield.
This arrangement has the disadvantage of requiring a fairly large number of articulation parts, which means that it is quite expensive; cause immobilization of the mobile pocket; and permanently weigh down the tool with the weight of this additional equipment.
The object of the present invention is to eliminate these drawbacks by proposing very simple equipment, which is easy to set up and remove.
- Figure 1, une vue schématique en élévation latérale et en coupe partielle d'un godet ouvrant de type connu, comportant une fourche de palettisation escamotable;
- Figure 1, a schematic side elevational view in partial section of an opening bucket of known type, comprising a retractable palletizing fork;
- Figure 2, a schematic side elevational view in partial section of an opening bucket according to the present invention.
Ce châssis 1 est en outre relié à l'engin automoteur par un vérin hydraulique permettant de le faire pivoter autour des axes d'attelage 2.Referring to Figure 1, we see that the bucket according to the present invention comprises a
This
It is known to add a fifth function to it by adding a retractable palletizing fork to it. Still in FIG. 1, it can be seen that this fork is constituted by a plurality of palletizing teeth 11 (at least two) pivotally mounted on at least two tilting yokes 12, these yokes being pivotally mounted on an
This arrangement has the drawback of requiring a large number of parts to articulate the
To put the teeth 21 in place, it suffices to slightly lift the movable pocket 6-7, to set up each tooth 21 by bringing the groove formed by the
This arrangement makes it possible to obtain the same result as the known arrangement of FIG. 1, but with much simpler means, considerably less expensive and without adding unnecessary dead weight to the bucket when the palletizing fork is not used.
Obviously, the teeth 21 are arranged between the
According to a variant embodiment not shown, when the
