The furnishing, or its means of attachment, will therewith be secured with the nut-like part 49.
  • These furnishings may be of any general kind required in wet rooms, such as bathroom cabinets, towel cupboards, towel hangers, wash basins etc.
  • Figure 4 illustrates an alternative embodiment of a vertical framework member, here referenced 60, in which the channel 45 is replaced with a T-shaped part 61 which projects for coaction with channels or grooves 62, 63 in two mutually adjacent panels 64, 65, such as to form a join between said panels 64, 65 with the edges of said panels in mutual abutment.

  • profiled sections will include window and door surrounds, such as door surrounds for shower rooms, wet-room access doors, etc.
  • a seal 95 is fitted in the respective U-shaped channels of all framework members and profiled sections which abut the vertical edges of the panels, in order to prevent the ingress of water behind the wet-room wall structure on those occasions when the wall is subjected to water sprays, such as when taking a shower.
  • the bottom and top horizontal members, the inner corner profiles and outer corner profiles are assembled first.
  • the top and bottom members are spaced apart to an extent such that when vertical members and respective panels are pushed up from beneath into the U-shaped channel 3 of the top member, the lower ends of said vertical members and panels will pass freely over the upstanding part 16 on the bottom horizontal member, and such that the distance from the lower edge 91 of the bottom-member outermost part 84 to the bottom of the U-shaped channel 5 in the bottom member is less than the vertical length of both panels and vertical members.
  • a panel is then pushed-up into the top horizontal member and in over the bottom horizontal member, whereafter the panel is lowered so that the aforesaid groove in the lower edge surface of the panel is brought into co-acting engagement with the upstanding part 16 on the bottom member.
  • a vertical member is then pushed into the top member, and lowered down into the bottom member so as to bring the groove or channel 15 in the vertical member into co-acting engagement with the part 16.
  • the vertical member is preferably provided with spacer means, prior to being fitted. The vertical member is then moved horizontally against the edge of the panel, until the vertical member, the panel and distance elements coact in the manner illustrated in Figure 3.
  • the vertical member is then screwed securely to the wall 1, with the aid of one or two wall attachment devices.
  • the attachment devices 20 are fitted to the framework members and corner profiles, prior to their assembly. Because the slot 25 is inclined, a suitable location can readily be found for screwing the attachment device to the rearwardly located wall 1.
  • This erection procedure is then continued with the next wall panel, the next vertical framework member, and so on.
  • the wall structure can be assembled and erected very simply and quickly. It is not necessary to make good any defects in the surface of the wall 1 when erecting the inventive wall structure, but the wall structure can be fitted directly to the wall 1, without needing to work on said wall.
  • the wall attachment devices hold the vertical members spaced from the rearwardly located wall. Consequently, an air gap is left between the whole of the wall structure and the rearwardly lying wall. As before mentioned, an air gap is also found between the top horizontal member and the lowermost part of the panels, since the vertical member runs in the U-shaped channel of said top member.
  • the wall structure is impervious to water which may spray onto the wall, when taking a shower for instance.
  • inventive wall structure can be dismantled just as readily as it is erected, should it be necessary to carry out repair work.
  • the appearance of the wall structure can be varied readily, by choosing panels of different colours, different patterns and different widths.

Claims (7)

1. Wandstruktur für Nassräume mit einer Abdeckwand und einem Rahmenwerk zum Montieren an eine bestehende Wand, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Rahmenwerk ein horizontales oberes Glied (2) mit einem nach unten gerichteten U-förmigen Kanal (3), der sich entlang demselben erstreckt, sowie ein horizontales unteres Glied (4) mit einem nach oben gerichteten U-förmigen Kanal (5) aufweist, der sich entlang demselben erstreckt, dass dieses Rahmenwerk vertikale sich zwischen dem oberen horizontalen Glied und dem unteren horizontalen Glied erstreckende Glieder (8) umfasst, die zwei U-förmige Kanäle (9, 10) aufweisen, die voneinander entgegengesetzt gerichtet sind, dass alle diese U-förmigen Kanäle (3, 5, 9, 10) in einem bestand von demjenigen Teil des oberen, des unteren und der vertikalen Glieder (2; 4; 8) angeordnet sind, der vorgesehen ist, nahe einer bestehenden sich dahinter befindenden Wand (1) zu stehen, dass eine Wandbefestigungsvorrichtung (20) vorgesehen ist, um diese Rahmenwerkglieder (2; 4; 8) an dieser dahinter stehenden Wand (1) zu befestigen, wobei diese Befestigungsvorrichtung (20) auch dazu dient, einen Abstand zwischen den vertikalen Gliedern (8) und dieser dahinter stehenden Wand (1) zu bilden, und dass wasser- und feuchtigkeitsundurchlässige Paneele (30 - 33; 34, 35; 64, 65) in entsprechende U-förmige Kanäle (3, 5, 9, 10) eingefügt und von ihnen getragen sind.
2. Wandstruktur nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass diese Paneele (30 - 33; 34, 35; 64, 65) sogenannte homogene lamellierte Paneele aus Papierblättern umfassen, die unter anderem mit Melamin imprägniert und verdichtet sind.
3. Wandstruktur nach Anspruch 1 oder 2; dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Dicke dieser Paneele (30 - 33; 34, 35; 64, 65) kleiner ist, als die Innenbreite der U-förmigen Kanäle (9, 10) der vertikalen Glieder (8), und dass ein Abstandselement (40) vorgesehen ist, um die Paneele in einem Abstand von der dahinter stehenden Wand (1) zu halten und um die Paneele (30 - 33; 34, 35; 64, 65) gegen jenen Teil der entsprechenden U-förmigen Kanäle (9, 10) der vertikalen Glieder (8) zu drücken, der sich in weiterer Entfernung von der dahinter stehenden Wand (1) befindet.

Wandstruktur nach Anspruch 1, 2 oder 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Enden dieser vertikalen Glieder (8) eine Aussenabmessung haben, die der inneren Abmessung des U-förmigen Kanals (3) des horizontalen oberen Gliedes (2) entspricht, und dass die vertikalen Glieder vorgesehen sind, um in den U-förmigen Kanal (3) dieses oberen Gliedes (2) eingefügt zu werden.

Wandstruktur nach Anspruch 1, 2, 3 oder 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Breite des U-förmigen Kanals (5) des unteren Gliedes (4) kleiner als die Dicke des vertikalen Gliedes (8) ist, und dass das vertikale Glied (8) in seinem unteren Ende eine Nut oder einen Kanal (15) aufweist, der vorgesehen ist, um mit dem aufrecht stehenden Teil (16) des U-förmigen Kanals (5) des unteren Gliedes zusammenzuwirken, der sich in weiterer Entfernung von der dahinter stehenden Wand (1) befindet.

Wandstruktur nach Anspruch 1, 2, 3, 4 oder 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das vertikale Glied (8) einen mittigen, teilweise geschlossenen U-förmigen Kanal oder eine Nut (45) mit einer Kanalöffnung aufweist, die vorgesehen ist, um von der dahinter stehenden Wand (1) nach aussen gerichtet zu sein, und wobei dieser kanal (45) vorgesehen ist, um mit Befestigungsmitteln (47 - 49) zusammenzuwirken, die zur Befestigung von Zubehörgegenständen verschiedener Art an der Wandstruktur fair Nassräume dienen.
7. Wandstruktur nach Anspruch 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 oder 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Wandbefestigungsvorrichtung (20) eine Platte (21) umfasst, aus der L-förmige und T-förmige Profilsektionen (22 - 24) herausragen, die vorgesehen sind, um mit entsprechenden mit Kanälen versehenen Profilen (11; 12, 13, 14) zusammenzuwirken, die sich entlang den entsprechenden oberen, unteren und vertikalen Gliedern (2; 4; 8) erstrecken, und dass in dieser Platte (21) mindestens ein durchgehender Schlitz (25) vorhanden ist, dessen Längsachse einen Winkel mit der Längsrichtung dieser Profilsektionen (22 - 24) bildet.
