Definitions

  • the invention relates to a cover device for sealing an opening, in particular against electromagnetic radiation.
  • the invention further relates to a transverse actuation device which is particularly advantageously particularly suitable for actuating such a cover in the transverse direction.
  • Covers that can be pushed in and out, especially sliding doors, are usually used to seal an opening against the passage e.g. of gaseous or liquid substances, sound and radiation, in particular electromagnetic.
  • the cover itself is adapted to the medium acting on the cover or the disturbance and is designed to be shielding accordingly.
  • sealing means which preferably surround the shielding cover in a closed ring. To extend and retract the cover pushed into the opening to be sealed into and out of the sealing condition, considerable forces may be required, depending in particular on the design of the sealing means present. To apply these transverse forces, means are required which are accommodated in the regions of the covering device which delimit the opening, in particular in one or more frames.
  • EP-A-0 224 090 discloses an electromagnetically shielded sliding door for the electromagnetically sealed closure of a door opening. This is suspended from a hinged device above the door opening.
  • the hinge device has first hinge elements which allow the door to be displaced at right angles to the door plane. With this, a transverse movement can be carried out in order to close the door electromagnetically and in the door opening retracting or extending contact elements.
  • the hinge device also has second hinge elements which enable the door to be displaced in the direction of the door plane. This allows a longitudinal movement to be carried out in order to slide the door out laterally to release the door opening.
  • a chain of block slats is attached to one another. The chain is attached to the lower end of the door and is pulled or pushed away longitudinally over the channel when it is pushed in or out laterally through the door.
  • a sliding gate with a bottom-embedded guide rail is also known.
  • the door is suspended on the top by means of carriages.
  • Swiveling cover plates serve to cover the bottom guide rail when the sliding gate is open. These are e.g. when closing the gate, the handle is reached under and raised by means of a curved baffle.
  • the sloping cover plates are then supported by rollers on the surface of the door leaf.
  • the invention has for its object to provide a cover device of the type mentioned above, in which the shielding cover can be pushed in and out in the longitudinal direction into and out of the opening to be sealed and retractable in and out of the sealing state in the transverse direction is.

  • the cover can be retracted and retracted almost uniformly and evenly, preferably on all sides, into and out of the sealing state.
  • This embodiment is particularly advantageous if particularly high closing or opening forces have to be overcome when retracting or extending. If, in this embodiment, when the cover is pushed out of the opening, in addition to the lower bridge, the upper bridge is also fully extended, the inside of the covering device, which delimits the opening at the top, can preferably be completely closed for safety reasons.
  • further transversely extendable bridges are present on the inner sides of the covering device that delimit the opening on the right and left, which bridges are preferably guided by the lower and / or upper bridges.
  • the covering device is thus preferably covered without slots on all the inner sides delimiting the opening.
  • the transverse actuation device particularly advantageously enables a precisely defined transverse movement of all transverse movable components of the covering device.
  • three preferred positions can be assumed in the transverse direction. In a first position, the cover is not retracted into the sealing state and can be pushed in or out of the opening. Abstract

The cover seals off an opening (1), particularly against electromagnetic radiation, and comprises a shielding cover (12) with seals (16,17) running round the periphery. It slides in the lengthwise direction into and out of the opening, and also in the transverse direction in and out of the sealing position. A bridge-piece (7) is extensible in the transverse direction inside the opening, particularly at the bottom. This engages with the cover. It seals off the inside of the opening when the cover has been removed.

Description

The invention relates to a cover device for sealing an opening, in particular against electromagnetic radiation. The invention further relates to a transverse actuation device which is particularly advantageously particularly suitable for actuating such a cover in the transverse direction.

Covers that can be pushed in and out, especially sliding doors, are usually used to seal an opening against the passage e.g. of gaseous or liquid substances, sound and radiation, in particular electromagnetic. For this purpose, the cover itself is adapted to the medium acting on the cover or the disturbance and is designed to be shielding accordingly. Furthermore, there are sealing means which preferably surround the shielding cover in a closed ring.

Einschieben durch die Tür selbst in Längsrichtung über den Kanal gezogen bzw. weggeschoben.EP-A-0 224 090 discloses an electromagnetically shielded sliding door for the electromagnetically sealed closure of a door opening. This is suspended from a hinged device above the door opening. The hinge device has first hinge elements which allow the door to be displaced at right angles to the door plane. With this, a transverse movement can be carried out in order to close the door electromagnetically and in the door opening retracting or extending contact elements. The hinge device also has second hinge elements which enable the door to be displaced in the direction of the door plane. This allows a longitudinal movement to be carried out in order to slide the door out laterally to release the door opening. To cover a longitudinal channel in the floor area of the door opening, a chain of block slats is attached to one another. The chain is attached to the lower end of the door and is pulled or pushed away longitudinally over the channel when it is pushed in or out laterally through the door.

From DE-A-28 44 877 a sliding gate with a bottom-embedded guide rail is also known. The door is suspended on the top by means of carriages. Swiveling cover plates serve to cover the bottom guide rail when the sliding gate is open. These are e.g. when closing the gate, the handle is reached under and raised by means of a curved baffle. The sloping cover plates are then supported by rollers on the surface of the door leaf.

The invention has for its object to provide a cover device of the type mentioned above, in which the shielding cover can be pushed in and out in the longitudinal direction into and out of the opening to be sealed and retractable in and out of the sealing state in the transverse direction is. The invention is also intended to provide a device for actuating the cover in the transverse direction.

The object is achieved by the features contained in claim 1. Advantageous further embodiments of the invention are specified in subclaims 2 to 18.

The covering device according to the invention has the particular advantage that the shielding cover can be retracted and extended almost untied and evenly, in particular on all sides, in order to achieve or interrupt the sealing state into or out of the opening to be sealed. For this purpose, according to the invention, in particular at least one cross-extendable bridge located on an inside of the covering device delimiting the opening serves. This engages directly on the cover pushed into the opening on the edge facing the corresponding opening inside in the transverse direction. The transverse force is thus supplied without force deflection directly to the edge regions of the cover, which are surrounded, in particular, in a ring, with the sealing means. In this way, particularly advantageously, high closing and opening forces for overcoming the frictional forces caused by the sealing means when moving in and out are uniformly transmitted to the shielded cover in the areas where they are used immediately. Since there is thus almost no lever arm between the engagement areas of the transverse forces transmitted from the transversely extendable bridge to the cover and the counterforces caused by the sealing means during the retraction and extension, the cover can be inserted into or out of the sealing state without tension. or extended.

The covering device according to the invention has the further advantage that the transversely extendable bridge can be extended so far when the cover is extended from the sealing state and also pushed out of the opening that the corresponding inner side of the covering device delimiting the opening is preferably completed completely and without steps. In a preferred embodiment, the cross-extendable bridge is the covering device Attached to the underside of the opening to be sealed, the fully extended bridge enables the opening to be walked on and navigated without steps and steps.

In a particularly advantageous embodiment of the invention, there are lower and upper transversely extendable bridges which engage on the cover inserted into the opening on the lower and upper edge. As a result, the cover can be retracted and retracted almost uniformly and evenly, preferably on all sides, into and out of the sealing state. This embodiment is particularly advantageous if particularly high closing or opening forces have to be overcome when retracting or extending. If, in this embodiment, when the cover is pushed out of the opening, in addition to the lower bridge, the upper bridge is also fully extended, the inside of the covering device, which delimits the opening at the top, can preferably be completely closed for safety reasons. In a further advantageous embodiment, further transversely extendable bridges are present on the inner sides of the covering device that delimit the opening on the right and left, which bridges are preferably guided by the lower and / or upper bridges. When the cover is pushed out of the opening and the bridges are fully extended, the covering device is thus preferably covered without slots on all the inner sides delimiting the opening.

The transverse actuation device according to the invention particularly advantageously enables a precisely defined transverse movement of all transverse movable components of the covering device. According to the invention, three preferred positions can be assumed in the transverse direction. In a first position, the cover is not retracted into the sealing state and can be pushed in or out of the opening. In a second position, the cover is retracted into the sealed state. Finally, when the cover is pushed out of the opening in a third position, the at least one bridge is in Extend the transverse direction to such an extent that the corresponding inside of the covering device, in particular continuously, is completely closed. In a preferred embodiment, the transverse actuation device contains a longitudinally movable groove carrier which is actuated by a longitudinal drive and in which at least one curved guide groove is inserted for the purpose of force and movement deflection from the longitudinal to the transverse direction. Such a device has the particular advantage that it can be accommodated in a space-saving manner within an inside of the cover device delimiting the opening, preferably on the bottom and / or top in a receiving frame.

The first advantageous embodiment of the covering device according to the invention shown in FIG. 1 in front view serves to seal an opening 1. A shielding cover can be pushed in or out in the longitudinal direction thereof. There is advantageously a displacement area 2 next to the opening 1 for receiving the cover which has been pushed out. The opening 1 to be sealed is preferably delimited by a frame 3 and in particular by two receiving frames 5 and 6 located on opposite sides. It is also advantageous if there is also a further frame 4 arranged in the longitudinal direction next to the frame 3 for the displacement region 2. This frame 4 can be closed by covers 8 for safety reasons.

It is advantageous if the part of the covering device delimiting the opening 1, preferably consisting of the frame 3 and the receiving frames 5, 6, is also preferably closed in a ring-shaped manner with sealing means 20 which, when the cover is retracted into the sealing state, into that on the cover intervene with the sealant. If the cover is used, for example, for electromagnetic shielding, the opening is preferably surrounded by circumferential contact blades as a sealing means.

According to the invention, the covering device contains at least one transversely extendable bridge on one of the inner sides delimiting the opening. The embodiment of the covering device shown in FIG. 1 serves to seal a walk-on and / or drive-through door opening, there is advantageously a lower bridge 7, which extends the lower receiving frame 5 in the door opening area in the form of a base piece, on the underside. In a further embodiment of the invention, it is advantageous, in particular in the case of a covering device which is difficult to move due to the design of the shielding cover and the design of the sealing means, if there is a further cross-extendable bridge 54 which closes off the upper receiving frame 6 at the upper end of the opening. In this case, this can advantageously form an area bridging the opening 1 as a ceiling element.

The positions P1 to P4, which can preferably be taken up by the at least one bridge which can be extended transversely and the cover 12 actuated in the transverse direction thereof by the transverse actuation device according to the invention, are shown. The dashed line shows the position P2 of the cover 12 retracted into the sealing state. To extend from the sealing state, the cover 12 is slightly retracted in the transverse direction into the position P1 shown in dotted lines. Now the cover can be pushed out of the opening 1 into the displacement area 2 via a receiving slot 11 which is preferably present in the frames 3 and 4. When the cover is pushed out in this way, the at least one transversely extendable bridge can also be extended so far that its front edge in position P3 closes with the part of the frame 3 which forms a fixed tread piece 22. In this case, the lower receiving frame 5 located below the opening is preferably completely completely covered in a stepless manner relative to the surrounding tread surface 21 and the opening 1 can be walked on and driven over safely. It is therefore only possible to fully extend the transversely extendable bridge until position P3 is reached when the cover 12 is completely out of the opening 1 is extended. According to the embodiment shown in FIG. 2, this is detected by an end contact switch 46 which is advantageously arranged in the displacement area 2 and is actuated by the cover after the cover has been fully extended.

If, according to a further embodiment of the invention, the transversely extendable bridge can be pivoted out, in particular for maintenance purposes, from the corresponding inside of the covering device delimiting the opening, then the cover 12 inserted into the opening can also be brought into a maintenance position in the transverse direction beyond the position P1. In FIG 2, the cover 12 in the maintenance position P4 is shown in dash-dotted lines. In positions P1, P2 and P3, areas of the cover that are difficult to access or accessible only for maintenance purposes are now accessible. This applies in particular to the sealing means, which preferably surround the cover at the edge regions, preferably in a closed ring.

Störungen geeignet sind, z.B. gegen Gase, Flüssigkeiten, Schall bzw. von Kernspaltungsprozessen herrührender Strahlung.3 shows a cross section through the parts of a first embodiment of the covering device located at the lower end of the opening. The shielding cover 12 and the lower cross-extendable bridge 7 are in the position P2, ie the cover is retracted into the sealing state. In particular, the cover 12 and the sealing means 16, 17, 20 are used in the preferred exemplary embodiment shown for electromagnetic shielding of the opening 1. Such a cover 12 can advantageously consist of two troughs 13, 14, which lie inside one another to form a cavity 15. A contact shaft 16 formed by this arrangement of the troughs and completely encircling the cover advantageously serves to receive contact spring 17. In the sealing state P2 of the cover, contact blades 20 preferably attached to the frame 3 and encircling the opening to be sealed, in particular encircled in a ring-shaped manner, engage. Such, particularly suitable for electromagnetic sealing and according to the so-called Two-tub system covers are described in more detail in the German utility model with the official file number G 87 17 417.0. In other, not shown embodiments, the cover and the sealing means can also be designed such that they are suitable for sealing the opening against other media or disturbances, for example against gases, liquids, sound or radiation resulting from nuclear fission processes.

Zum Verfahren der Abdeckung in Längs- bzw. Querrichtung dient erfindungsgemäß je eine Längs- bzw. Querlaufvorrichtung. According to the invention, a longitudinal or transverse running device is used to move the cover in the longitudinal or transverse direction. In one embodiment, the longitudinal running device can be fixed in the frame 3 or the structure surrounding the opening and can be used to guide the transverse running device, which in this case is movable longitudinally. In another embodiment, shown in particular in FIGS. 3, 4, 5, 6, 8 and 9, the cross-running device is mounted in a stationary manner and serves to guide the longitudinal-running device which is movable in this case.

In the embodiments of the covering device according to the invention, shown in particular in FIGS. 3, 5 and 6, the longitudinal and transverse running devices are designed as supporting devices for the covering 12. On these support devices, the cover 12 is preferably mounted directly over its lower edge 19 for guidance in the transverse and longitudinal directions. In a further embodiment of the covering device, shown in FIGS. 8 and 9, the longitudinal and transverse running devices are designed as hanging devices. The cover 12 is preferably attached to this by way of its upper edge 57 for guidance in the longitudinal and transverse directions. In the case of doors that are difficult to move in particular, it is particularly advantageous if the longitudinal and transverse running device according to the embodiment shown in FIG. 1 have parts designed as support devices and located below the cover, as well as parts designed as hanging devices and located above the cover.

In the advantageous embodiment shown in FIG 3, the longitudinal and transverse running devices are designed as support devices and attached to the inside below the cover. Furthermore, the cross-running device is advantageously arranged in a fixed manner in a lower receiving frame 5 connected to the frame 3, and serves to guide the longitudinal-running device which is movable in this case. It has at least one transverse running rail 28, which in one embodiment is preferably attached centrally below the opening to be sealed. Accordingly, in the embodiment according to FIG. 8 designed as a hanging device, the transverse running device has at least one upper transverse running rail 59, which is preferably mounted centrally in the inside of an upper receiving frame 6 above the opening to be sealed. According to the embodiment shown in FIG. 1, it is particularly advantageous in the case of stiff covers if the cross-run device has four cross-run rails. Of these, the two lower transverse rails 28, 50 are accommodated below the opening to be sealed, preferably in the area of the corners I, II, in particular in the lower receiving frame 5. Accordingly, the two upper transverse rails 59, 60 are preferably mounted above the opening to be sealed in the upper receiving frame 5, in particular in the region of the corners III, IV.

In the embodiment of the covering device according to the invention shown in FIG. 3, the transversely movable longitudinal running device preferably consists of a transversely movable longitudinal running support beam 25, which is guided at least by the transverse running rail 28. This carries guide rollers 26 in which a longitudinal support rail 24, which is preferably attached directly to the lower edge 19 of the cover 12, is slidably mounted. According to a further embodiment, the longitudinal running device is designed in two parts. According to the representation of FIG 3, this consists of at least one longitudinal support beam 25, which is attached below the opening to be sealed and on the Cross rail 28 is movable in the transverse direction. Furthermore, there is at least one fixed longitudinal support bracket 51, shown in broken lines in FIG. 3, which is attached next to the opening to be sealed in the displacement region. It is only possible to push the cover 12 out of the opening 1 into the displacement area when the transverse longitudinal support bracket 25 has been retracted in the transverse direction from the position P2 shown in FIG. 3, in which the cover is retracted into the sealing state, in such a way that in the longitudinal direction the cross-movable comes to rest next to the fixed support beam. In this case, both support beams are in position P1, which enables the cover to be pushed out of the opening to be sealed. In particular, the longitudinal support rail 24 can now slide smoothly from the transversely movable support 25 to the fixed support 51.

In the advantageous embodiment of the covering device according to the invention shown in FIG. 1, two transversely movable longitudinal support supports 23, 25, which are guided by the two lower transverse tracks 28, 50, are present below the opening 1, in particular in the area of their corners I, II. Correspondingly, two further, fixed longitudinal support brackets 51, 52 are present below the displacement area 2. With such a longitudinal running device, a particularly secure insertion and removal of the cover 12 into the opening 1 to be sealed or into the displacement region 2 is possible.

If, according to the embodiment in FIG. 8, the longitudinal and transverse running devices are designed as hanging devices, then at least one transversely movable longitudinal running beam 64 guided by the transverse running rail 59 in the transverse direction is advantageously present above the opening 1 to be sealed. Furthermore, there is at least one further fixed longitudinal suspension bracket 65, which is arranged in the position P1 that allows the cover to be pushed in and out of the range of displacement. In the exemplary embodiment shown in FIG. 8, the transversely movable longitudinal hanging rail is also designed in two parts, the transversely movable part 66 being attached to the hanging bracket 64 and the fixed part being attached to the hanging bracket 65. Guide rollers 26, which are preferably attached to the upper edge 57 of the cover 12 via a roller carrier, engage in these longitudinal running rails. Here, too, the cover shown in FIG. 8 in the sealing state can only be pushed out of the opening when the transverse longitudinal support bracket 64 and the cover 12 are moved from the position P2 shown in FIG. 8 into the position of the fixed longitudinal guide rail by means of the transverse running device 65 corresponding position P1 is extended in the transverse direction. In this case, the transversely movable and the fixed longitudinal suspension rails are directly behind one another in the longitudinal direction and enable a stepless transition for the guide rollers 26 when the cover is pushed out.

Of course, in the case of the hanging devices in FIG. 8, the connection between the longitudinal running beams and the longitudinal running rail can also take place in the manner shown in FIG. In such a case, the transverse longitudinal suspension rail 66 would be fixed to the top edge 57 of the cover and the guide rollers 26 to the longitudinal suspension supports. Correspondingly, a longitudinal running device designed as a support device can also be designed in the manner shown in FIG. In such a case, the longitudinal support rail would be divided into two and in each case attached to the transversely movable or fixed longitudinal support support, while the guide rollers are preferably located directly on the lower edge of the cover via a roller support.

Sind die Längs- und Querlaufvorrichtung gemäß FIG 8 als Hängevorrichtungen ausgeführt und bevorzugt im oberen Aufnahmerahmen 6 oberhalb der abzudichtenden Öffnung 1 untergebracht, so kann insbesondere bei leichtgängigen Abdeckungen gemäß der Darstellung von FIG 9 auf zusätzliche, als Stützvorrichtungen ausgeführte Längs- und Querlaufvorrichtungen im Aufnahmerahmen 5 unterhalb der abzudichtenden Öffnung verzichtet werden.8 are designed as hanging devices and are preferably accommodated in the upper receiving frame 6 above the opening 1 to be sealed, so In the case of smooth-running covers in accordance with the illustration in FIG. 9, additional longitudinal and transverse devices designed as support devices in the receiving frame 5 below the opening to be sealed can be dispensed with.

If, on the other hand, for example, according to the illustration in FIG. 3, the longitudinal and transverse running devices are designed as supporting devices below the opening to be sealed, then in particular with smooth-running covers either additional longitudinal and transverse running devices configured as hanging devices above the opening to be sealed can be dispensed with, or could be simpler embodiments are provided for this.

Such a simplified embodiment is shown in FIG. 4 using the example of a transverse longitudinal running device guided by a fixed transverse running device. This consists of at least one transversely movable support 62 guided by the upper cross-track rail 59 above the opening 1 and of at least one further fixed support 63 attached in the position P1 above the displacement range. This support engages at least in the inserted or extended state of the cover a preferably U-shaped and 61 attached to the upper edge of the cover 12.

The covering device according to the invention has at least one transversely extendable bridge on one of the inner sides delimiting the opening 1. Such a lower cross-extendable bridge 7 is shown by way of example in FIG. 3, which shows a cross section through the part of an advantageous embodiment of the covering device located at the lower end of the opening. This is non-positively connected to the cover 12 inserted into the opening 1 for retracting and extending into or out of the sealing state in the transverse direction. A lower slide rail 31, preferably located at the transversely movable head end of the bridge 7, is advantageously used for this purpose C-shaped cross section. At least one holding lug 36, which is arranged as directly opposite the sealing means 16, 17, 20 as possible and which can move transversely in the slide rail 31, engages in this. In another embodiment, not shown, the slide rail can also be attached to the outer edge of the cover and the retaining lug to the head end of the transversely extendable bridge 7.

This arrangement has the particular advantage that the transverse force is introduced into the cover through the transversely extendable bridge at a point which is almost immediately the counterforce caused by the retraction of the cover in and out of the sealing condition and caused by the sealing means opposite. The cover is thus extended and retracted without the need for levers or tension. The frictional forces caused in the embodiment of FIG. 3 by the engagement of the contact blades 20 in the contact springs 17 located in the peripheral contact shaft 16 of the cover can thus be overcome uniformly along the entire lower edge 19 of the cover by the engagement of the transversely extendable bridge 7. Even a cover that is stiff due to the design of the sealing means can thus be retracted or extended evenly and without tilting in or out of the sealing state. Furthermore, the longitudinal and transverse running devices, for example designed as supporting devices in FIG. 3, are not loaded with such forces and their deflection.

In diesem Fall hat der querbewegliche Längslaufstützträger 25 die gleiche Position P1 wie der strichliert dargestellte feststehende Längslaufstützträger 51.According to the advantageous embodiment of a transversely extendable bridge, which is shown in particular in FIGS. 3 to 5, it consists of a fixed part 29 and a part 30, which is guided parallel to it and can be extended telescopically in the transverse direction 31 and the at least one retaining lug 36 non-positively in the transverse direction on the edge region located on the lower edge 19 the cover 12 engage. 3 shows the cover 12 and the transversely extendable bridge in the position P2 corresponding to the sealing state. In this case, the rotating contact knives 20 are moved into the contact springs 17 of the electromagnetically shielding cover 12 shown as an example. To slide the cover in the longitudinal direction, it is first pulled back by the transversely extendable bridge to such an extent that the contact blades 20 are extended out of the contact shaft 16. In this case, the transverse longitudinal support beam 25 has the same position P1 as the fixed longitudinal support beam 51 shown in broken lines.

Die Öffnung 1 ist somit leicht und sicher begeh- und befahrbar.5 shows a cross section through the part of the first advantageous embodiment of the covering device located at the lower end of the opening 1 when the cover is pushed out. The cover itself is pushed out through the receiving slot 11 shown in dash-dot lines in the displacement area. In this case, the part 30 of the lower bridge 7 which is guided in parallel can be extended so far that the corresponding inside of the opening 1, in FIG. 5 the underside, is completely covered. In this case, the head end of the transversely extendable part 30, which is preferably provided with the slide rail 31, is in a position P3, in which it engages in the region of the frame 3 opposite the fixed part 29 of the bridge, in particular under a fixed running floor piece 22. This results in a slot-free and step-free transition formed by the surfaces of the elements 22, 30 and 29 through the opening 1 between the tread surfaces 21 surrounding the covering device. The opening 1 is thus easy and safe to walk on and drive over.

According to a further embodiment, for example as shown in FIG 5, the slide rail 31 is resiliently mounted at the head end of the transversely extendable part 30 of the lower bridge 7. At least one holding bolt 32, which is supported by a spring 33, advantageously serves this purpose. Will at full Extending the bridge from position P1 to position P3, the slide rail 31 being pressed in, for example by hitting an obstacle located on the inside, against the spring force, so that an additional safety limit switch 34 can be actuated. In this way, for safety reasons, the further extension of the cross-extendable part 30 can be prevented or reversed. This function of the fuse limit switch 34 is preferably only activated when the cover 12 is completely pushed out of the opening 1 in the longitudinal direction. This can advantageously be detected by the end contact switch 46 already explained using the example of FIG. 2 and preferably located in the interior of the displacement area.

According to a further advantageous embodiment of the invention, the transversely extendable bridge can be pivoted out of the corresponding inside of the opening to be sealed. For this purpose, the bridge is rotatably mounted, for example at a point 41, as shown in FIG. 6. After the bridges have been swung out, the parts of the covering device, for example the cross rails 28, 50 and the transversely movable longitudinal support brackets 25, 23, which were at least partially covered by the bridge and which are attached in the interior of the lower mounting frame 5, in particular according to the embodiment of FIG. and maintenance purposes fully accessible. In addition, if the cross-run device allows the cover to be extended in the transverse direction from position P2 beyond position P1 to position P4 shown in FIG. 6 when the bridge is swung out, areas of the cover device that have hitherto been difficult or inaccessible, particularly for cleaning and maintenance purposes, are in this maintenance position accessible. On the one hand, this concerns the parts of the covering device located in the displacement area. When the displacement area is closed with covers 8, as shown in FIG. 1, these are only accessible via the receiving slot 11. In normal operation of the cover, ie its movement between positions P1 to P3, However, this receiving slot is either blocked by the cover located in the opening, or the cover itself is inserted into the receiving slot 11. The maintenance position shown in FIG. 6 also enables, for example, the direct accessibility of the sealing means surrounding the cover. In the case of the electromagnetically shielding cover 12 shown as an example in FIG. 6, the contact springs 17 in the peripheral contact shaft 16 are directly accessible, for example.

According to a further advantageous embodiment of the invention, in particular in the case of stiff covers, there is a further transversely extendable bridge on an inside of the covering device delimiting the opening, which preferably lies opposite the inside provided with the first transversely extendable bridges. If the covering device is used, for example, as shown in FIG. 1 to seal an opening 1 used as a door, then according to this embodiment there is advantageously a lower cross-extendable bridge 7 on the lower edge 19 and a further upper cross-extendable bridge 54 on the upper edge 57 of the shielding cover 12 available. Such an upper cross-extendable bridge 54 is shown as an example in FIGS. 4 and 8. The simultaneous engagement of the lower and upper transversely extendable bridge on the cover 12 makes it possible to move in and out of the sealing state particularly smoothly, particularly in the case of stiff covers. In addition, particularly high counter forces caused by the sealing means can be overcome almost without the cover device 12 being braced. If, in addition, when the cover is pushed out of the opening, the upper, transversely extendable bridge 54 as well as the lower one is fully extended until position P3 is reached, then the inside of the covering device that delimits the opening 1 on the upper side is completely closed. The surfaces of the stationary and transversely extendable part 55, 56 of the upper bridge thus result in an especially slot-free transition between the ceiling surfaces 53 surrounding the covering device through the opening 1.

The invention further comprises a transverse actuation device for driving a transversely extendable bridge, with the aid of which the at least one bridge and the cover inserted into the opening can be moved back and forth together in the transverse direction between positions P1 and P2, or the bridge when out of the opening extended cover can be extended to position P3. An advantageous embodiment of such a transverse actuation device is shown in cross-section in FIG. 7 in plan view and in particular in FIGS. 3 and 4 for a lower and an upper cross-extendable bridge. This contains at least one lower or upper groove carrier 37 or 58, which is longitudinally movable in a lower or upper movement channel 39 or 48, which is preferably located in the lower or upper receiving frame 5 or 6.

To drive the lower groove carrier shown by way of example in FIG. 7 and guided in the lower movement channel 39, a longitudinal drive 40 is used. This can be in the form of a pneumatic cylinder, the control bolt 42 of which is connected to the groove carrier 37 via the surface 43. at least one guide groove 38 provided in the groove carrier serves to deflect the force and movement from the transverse drive working in the longitudinal direction to the associated transversely extendable bridge. In FIG. 7, the transverse bolt 35 is located, for example, in the upper left end of the guide groove 38. This corresponds to the position P1, in which the cover can be pushed in and out in the longitudinal direction.

If the groove carrier 37 is pushed to the left in FIG. 7 by means of the transverse drive 40, the transverse bolt 35 is carried along the transverse movement axis A1 due to the curvature of the guide groove 38 until position P2 is reached. In this state, the cover is retracted into the sealing state. A further movement of the cross bolt 35 beyond the point P2 is not possible as long as the cross drive is activated as long as the cover in position P1 has not been pushed out of the opening. If, on the other hand, the cover is pushed out of the opening when the bridge or transverse bolt is in position P1, the transverse bolt 35 is moved along the movement axis A1 from the position P1 via the position P2 to the position P3 when the groove carrier is moved. In this state, the bridge is completely extended in the transverse direction and the corresponding inside of the covering device is closed, in particular without slits and steps.

If, according to the embodiment shown in FIG. 1, for example in the lower mounting frame 5, two lower transverse rails 28, 50 are preferably present at the corners I and II of the cover, it is advantageous to also have curved guide grooves in the groove carrier and engaging therein in these areas on the to install the lower cross-extendable bridge guide bolts. This case is already shown in FIG 7. The guide groove 38 is located in the area of the left end I and the groove 45 in the area of the right end II of the cover. Correspondingly, a transverse bolt 35 or 44 located at the left or right end of the lower cross-extendable bridge engages in the corresponding groove. If, according to the embodiments in FIGS. 3 and 4 or 8 and 9, there is a lower and upper cross-extendable bridge 7 and 55, it is advantageous to have a lower groove carrier 37 guided in the lower movement channel 39 in the lower receiving frame 5 and one in the upper one Provide movement channel 48 guided upper groove carrier 58 in the upper receiving frame 6. 1, the transverse bolts 35 and 44 located on the lower transverse extendable bridge 7 advantageously engage in the lower groove carrier, and the transverse bolts 27 and 47 located on the upper transverse extendable bridge 54 engage in the upper groove carrier.

According to a further embodiment of the invention, the guide grooves are curved so that the transition between the positions P1 and P2 with a small stroke with a large force, and the transition between the positions P2 and P3 with a large stroke with a low force. Correspondingly, as shown in FIG. 7, the grooves 38 and 45 are curved in a first region in such a way that a relatively large longitudinal stroke L12 of the groove carrier is required to generate a relatively small transverse stroke H1 between the positions P1 and P2. The transition of the bridge driven by the transverse bolts 35 and 44 and the cover between the positions P1 and P2 thus takes place with great force and a small stroke. Furthermore, the grooves 38, 45 are curved in a second area so that the relatively large transverse stroke H2 between the positions P2 and P3 can be achieved with the aid of a relatively small longitudinal stroke L23. In this case, the bridge is fully extended to position P3 with low force and a large stroke when the cover is pushed out to lock the corresponding inside.

According to the representations in FIGS. 3, 4, 5, 8 and 9, it is furthermore advantageous if the transversely extendable bridge and the associated transverse actuation device form a common structural unit and can be pivoted out of the corresponding inside of the opening to be sealed, in particular for maintenance purposes.

Thus, for example, in FIG. 3, the bridge 7, which advantageously consists of the fixed part 29 and the transversely extendable part 30, the transverse bolt 35 located thereon and the lower transverse actuation device consisting in particular of the lower movement channel 39, the lower groove carrier 37 and the transverse drive 40 form a structural unit . This can advantageously be pivoted completely out of the interior of the lower receiving frame 5 via the pivot point 41. Correspondingly, as shown in FIG. 4, the upper bridge 54 consisting of the fixed part 55 and the transversely extendable part 56 forms the same located transverse bolts 27 and the transverse actuation device consisting in particular of the upper movement channel 48 and the upper groove support 58 a structural unit. This can also be pivoted completely out of the interior of the upper receiving frame 6, in particular for maintenance purposes.
