The invention has for its object to develop the table system of the type mentioned so that it has greater flexibility. Another object of the invention is to be able to integrate tables into the table system that can be used as drawing tables, that is to say have a tiltable table surface.

The table system according to the invention is characterized in that
  • two table legs are connected to each other at their upper end by a profile bar to form a table top frame and
  • the profile bars have a holding device for holding a tabletop suitably inserted into the tabletop frame.

By using only a single table leg to support several corners of different table tops, the number of table legs in the table system according to the invention can be kept low. In addition, the table tops can be easily removed from the table top frame and replaced with new ones, so that the appearance of the table system can be easily changed if so desired. It is not for this required to replace the entire table system.

According to an advantageous embodiment of the invention, each table leg has a hollow cylindrical shape and is provided in its upper region with a plurality of groups arranged at the same circumferential angular distance and consisting of at least two through openings one above the other.

The circumferential angular distance between the groups of through holes can e.g. B. 45 ° or 60 °.

According to an advantageous development, each profile rod is designed as a hollow profile rod with a rectangular cross section with a long and a short side, with inside each profile rod and at the ends of permanently arranged end plates, each belonging to a group in the direction of the long side Have through hole an associated threaded hole.

The special design of the table legs and the profile bars means that the latter can be connected to the table legs in a simple and stable manner. For this purpose, only screws need to be inserted from the inside through the through openings in the table leg and screwed into the respective threaded holes of the end plates, which lie within the profile rods. With the aforementioned choice of the circumferential angular distances, access to the respective screws is easily possible through the passage opening opposite in the table leg.

The mentioned connection technology between the table leg and profile bar enables an extraordinarily flexible construction of the table system, since the angles between the profile bars can be freely chosen according to the through openings in the table leg.

The hollow cylindrical design of the table legs also allows a further table leg with its lower end to be firmly inserted into the upper opening of each table leg, so that a second table level can be generated. The upper table leg can be screwed with an appropriate external thread at its lower end into an internal thread at the upper end of the lower table leg.

Preferably, the ends of the profile bars are so cut that they nestle against the circumference of the table legs in order to achieve an even stronger connection between the table leg and profile bar.

According to a further advantageous embodiment of the invention, profile bars can be used which differ from one another in the long side of their cross section. A profile bar, in which the long side of the cross section is shorter than that of another profile bar comes e.g. B. to lie on a front table edge. On the short cross-sectional side of the profile bar, which has the shorter of the long cross-sectional sides, a compensation profile is placed, which has a roof surface that is inclined outwards on one side, so that ultimately there is a beveled table edge.

Preferably, the profile rods in their longitudinal direction at a uniform distance from each other grid screw holes, the z. B. serve to attach downwardly protruding angles on which further table tops can be supported, which come to lie a little below the table top supported by the table legs. These other table tops are supported on their free side by additional table legs and form z. B. so-called machine tables of lower height.

According to an advantageous other embodiment of the invention, the holding devices already mentioned can each consist of an angular element, one leg of which is fastened to the profile rod with screws which are likewise screwed into these grid threaded bores. One of the higher positioned table tops then comes to rest on the other leg of the respective holding device. For example, the surface of such a table top is aligned with the upper end of a table leg to which the profile bar is attached.

An inner vertical leg of the compensating profile can advantageously be clamped between the leg of the angular element and the profile bar, this profile bar being provided with the grid threaded holes only on the inside of the table top frame. For optical reasons there are no grid threaded holes on the front side of this profile bar. The compensation profile is securely attached to the profile bar due to the aforementioned clamping and is also at the level of the surface of the table top with its upper edge. Of course, it would also be possible to pull the compensation profile down so far in front that threaded holes in the front surface of the profile rod could be covered.

The compensation profile preferably consists of a coated or foamed metal strip or a plastic strip.

In order to be able to make a height adjustment, the table legs have a height adjustment device at their lower end. This can e.g. B. consist of a foot plate with a perpendicular threaded rod that is attached to the foot plate. The threaded rod is screwed into an axial threaded hole at the lower end of the table leg, which is concentric to the table leg. A lock nut can be provided to lock the threaded rod.

According to another embodiment of the invention, the base plate can also be covered by a hollow truncated pyramid through which the threaded rod projects axially and freely. The upper, smaller diameter of the truncated pyramid coincides with the outer diameter of the table leg. The lower end of the truncated pyramid, which has a larger diameter, lies directly on the floor, so that the base plate is not visible. If the truncated pyramid is accidentally touched, it can rotate freely around the threaded rod without taking it along. This prevents the table height from being adjusted.

The upper openings of the respective table legs can be covered by a screw-on cap if no further table legs are to be attached.

According to a very advantageous further embodiment of the invention, there are profile rods, each of which has through-holes with a smaller diameter in its longitudinal direction in one side surface for receiving screws and in the opposite side surface with through-holes with a larger diameter for receiving pipe shafts which are screwed against the former Side surface are pulled, such profile bars are at both ends of the tubular shafts. The tubular shafts serve as a holding device for receiving a table top which is pivotally mounted about a front one of the tubular shafts by means of swivel bearings.

This makes it possible to supplement the table system with a drawing table without causing a conceptual break in the design of the table system.

The swiveling table top serves as a drawing board and is held by means of the swivel bearings which encircle the front tubular shaft like a ring. The swivel bearings are attached to the underside of the table or drawing board by screws with two flanges opposite each other. For example, there may be three such pivot bearings along the front tubular shaft.

In order to be able to hold the table or drawing board in an inclined position, an adjusting tube is provided which rests with its two ends on the profile bars lying opposite one another. The adjustment tube runs parallel to the tube shafts and can be rolled along the profile bars perpendicular to them. The ends of the adjusting tube have friction-increasing coverings, so that it can be clamped between the table and the drawing bars due to the weight of the table or drawing board. The friction-increasing pads can, for. B. rubber rings that run in circumferential grooves of the adjusting tube.

According to another embodiment of the invention, elastic seals are arranged between the flat table tops and the profile bars in order to close any gaps that may still be present. These elastic seals can e.g. B. lip seals, which lie in corresponding circumferential grooves in the side areas of the table tops.

In the table system according to the invention, it is possible, in accordance with the angular spacing of the through openings in the table leg, to combine table tops with the most varied of shapes to form a table landscape. If the angular distance is, for example, 60 °, a table landscape can be constructed from table tops, each of which has the shape of an equilateral triangle. In this case, diamond-shaped tables can also be integrated.

If the angular spacing of the through openings in the table leg is 45 °, a table landscape can be constructed from tables which has rectangular, square or table tops formed in the form of equilateral triangles. In this case too, diamond-shaped tables can be integrated.

Of course, the angular spacing of the through openings in the table leg can also be selected in a different way in order to be able to connect table tops with other geometric shapes.

Pro Reihe sind also acht Durchgangsöffnungen 2 vorhanden, mithin 16 Durchgangsöffnungen 2 insgesamt. Jeweils zwei zu verschiedenen Reihen gehörende Durchgangsöffnungen 2 liegen in Längsrichtung des Tischbeines 1 direkt übereinander. Ihre axialen Abstände sind über den Umfang konstant.FIG. 1 shows a table leg 1, shown partially in section, which consists of a hollow cylindrical tube. At the upper end of the table leg 1 there are two rows of through openings 2, which are arranged in the circumferential direction at equal angular intervals of 45 ° each. There are eight through openings 2 per row, thus 16 through openings 2 in total. In each case two through openings 2 belonging to different rows lie directly one above the other in the longitudinal direction of the table leg 1. Their axial distances are constant over the circumference.

Die Fig. 2 und 3 verdeutlichen nochmals die beschriebenen Verhältnisse und lassen insbesondere erkennen, daß zu jeder Durchgangsöffnung 2 eine direkt gegenüberliegende Durchgangsöffnung in der Wandung des Tischbeins 1 vorhanden ist.2 and 3 again illustrate the conditions described and in particular show that for each through opening 2 there is a directly opposite through opening in the wall of the table leg 1.

Just below the lower row of through openings 2 there is a horizontally arranged plate 3 with a central threaded bore 4 within the table leg 1, the horizontal plate 3 lying in a plane perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the table leg 1. The horizontal plate 3 consists, for. B. made of metal and is welded to the table leg 1, which can also consist of metal. A cap 5 is fixedly connected to an axial threaded rod 6, which can be screwed into the threaded bore 4 within the horizontal plate 3. In this way, the upper opening of the table leg 1 can be covered by the cap 5.

The cap 5 can also have a screw thread on its outer circumference, which can be screwed into an internal thread on the inner circumferential edge of the table leg 1. In this case, the horizontal plate 3 and the threaded rod 6 are not required.

A height adjustment device 7 is used for height adjustment of the table leg 1. This height adjustment device 7 has a base plate 8 with a threaded rod 9 running perpendicular thereto, which is fastened to the base plate 8 and perpendicular to it. The threaded rod 9 can be screwed into a threaded bore 10 which is provided in the center within an end plate 11 which is located at the lower end of the table leg. This end plate 11 can also consist of metal and be welded to the table leg 1. On the threaded rod 9, a lock nut 12 is screwed, which is screwed against the end plate 11 when the threaded rod 9 has been screwed into the threaded bore 10. In this way, the position of the foot plate 8 can be secured relative to the table leg 1.

According to FIG. 12, the base plate 8 can also be covered by a hollow truncated pyramid 13 through which the threaded rod 9 projects axially and freely. The upper end of the truncated pyramid 13 has a diameter which corresponds to the outer diameter of the table leg 1. In contrast, the lower end of the truncated pyramid 13 has a comparatively larger diameter and lies completely on the surface on which the base plate 8 also rests. The base plate 8 can thus not be accidentally rotated because it is protected by the truncated pyramid 13. If this is rotated unintentionally, this has no influence on the angular position of the base plate 8, since the truncated pyramid 13 can move freely on the threaded rod 9.

The structure of profile bars is shown in FIGS. 4 and 5. A profile bar 14 according to FIG. 4 and a profile bar 15 according to FIG. 5 each consist of a hollow profile bar with a rectangular cross section with a long and a short side. Both profile bars 14 and 15 are, for. B. made of steel. 4, the long cross-sectional side is somewhat shorter as the long cross-sectional side of the profiled rod 15 in FIG. 5. At both ends of a respective profiled rod 14 and 15 there are in each case permanently arranged end plates 16, 17, each centrally and in the direction of the long cross-sectional side, two threaded bores 16a arranged at a distance from one another , 16b and 17a, 17b. The distance between these threaded holes 16a and 16b or 17a and 17b corresponds to the axial distance between two through openings 2 in the table leg 1. Furthermore, the distances between the lower through hole 16b and the lower side of the profile bar 14 and between the lower through hole 17b and the lower side of the profile rod 15.

Grid threaded holes 18 lie in the longitudinal direction of the profile rod 14 in the lower region of one of its side walls at an equal distance from one another, while corresponding grid threaded holes 19 are present in both side walls of the profile rod 15. The distances between the respective grid threaded holes 18 or grid threaded holes 19 are the same.

In addition, the end faces of the profile bars 14 and 15 have circular recesses in the region of the upper and lower profile walls with a radius that corresponds to the radius of the table leg 1.

The end face of the profile element 15 abuts against the outer and upper region of the table leg 1, the threaded bores 17a and 17b inside the end plate 17 directly opposite the through openings 2 within the table leg 1. The position of the threaded bores 17a and 17b is chosen so that the upper surface of the profile rod 15 is flush with the upper surface of the cap 5, which is screwed onto the upper end of the table leg 1.

Allen screws 20, 21 project through the through openings 2 from the inside and are screwed into the through bores 17a and 17b. These Allen screws 20, 21 therefore pull the profile bar 15 over the end plate 17 against the outer surface of the table leg 1. The Allen screws 20, 21 can be easily rotated with a suitable Allen key which is passed through the opposite through openings 2 in the table leg 1. The long side of the profile cross section perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the profile rod thus comes to lie parallel to the longitudinal direction of the table leg 1. The table leg 1 lies within the circular recesses in the area of the upper and lower profile walls.

Die Anordnung der Profilstange 14 erfolgt so, daß die Raster-Gewindebohrungen 18 hinten bzw. unterhalb einer zu montierenden Tischplatte 22 zu liegen kommen.8 shows the case in which the profile rod 14 is connected to a table leg 1. The profile bar 14 is connected to the table leg 1 in the same way as the profile bar 15. For this purpose, reference is made to FIGS. 6 and 7. However, the upper surface of the profile rod 14 does not extend to the upper surface of the cover cap 5. The profile rod 14 is arranged in such a way that the grid threaded bores 18 come to rest behind or below a table top 22 to be mounted.

As already mentioned, the grid threaded holes 18 lie side by side in the longitudinal direction of the profile rod 14, specifically in the lower region of the rear profile wall. They serve to hold screws 23, with the aid of which angular holding devices 24 can be fastened to the rear side of the profile rod 14 in the lower region. One leg 24a of the angular holding device 24 is pressed by the screw 23 against the profile bar 14, while the other leg 24b of the angular Holding device 24 protrudes vertically from the profile bar 14 and serves to support the table top 22. The position of the leg 24b and the thickness of the table top 22 are chosen so that the upper surface of the table top 22 is flush with the upper surface of the cap 5.

A compensating profile 25 can be placed on the upper side of the profile rod 14, which has a roof surface 26 which is inclined outwards on one side. Preferably, an inner and vertical leg 27 of the compensating profile 25 is clamped between the leg 24a of the angular element 24 and the profile rod 14, which is not shown in detail in FIG. 8, however. It is also possible to place the compensation profile 25 on the profile rod 14 by clamping. In any case, the uppermost point of the inclined roof surface 26 extends to the upper surface of the table top 22, so that the visual impression is created as if the table top 22 were beveled at the front. The compensation profile 25 can, for. B. be a leather or plastic covered profile bar made of metal. It can also be foamed with a plastic.

The profile bar 14 is therefore always used in external areas of the table system, since it can only support a table top 22 on one of its sides.

Allerdings liegen hier die winkelförmigen Halteelemente 24 zu beiden Seiten der Profilstange 15.In contrast, FIG. 9 again shows the profile rod 15, on which table tops 22 can be supported on both sides. The surfaces of the table tops 22 are flush with the upper surface of the profile bar 15. In the same way as in FIG. 8, the angular holding elements 24 for storing the table tops 22 are fastened to the lower part of the profile bar 15 by screws 23, which fit into the grid -Thread bores 19 have been screwed into it. However, the angular holding elements 24 are located on both sides of the profile rod 15 here.

Sämtliche Profilstangen 14, 15 sind mit Hilfe von Imbusschrauben gegen das Tischbein 1 gezogen.FIG. 10 shows a possible design of the table system with three tables T1, T2, T3 and seven table legs 1. The structure at point A of the table system according to FIG. 10 is shown in more detail in FIG. 11. Thus, three profile rods are connected to the table leg 1 in point A, namely a profile rod 14 which points upwards in FIG. 11, a profile rod 15 which points to the left and a profile rod 14 which points to the bottom left. An inner holding element 24 is connected to the profile rods 14, while the profile rod 15 carries two angular holding elements 24 on opposite sides. All profile bars 14, 15 are pulled against the table leg 1 with the aid of Allen screws.

Die Tischplatte für den Tisch T2 braucht im Bereich des Punkts A eine derartige Ausnehmung nicht zu besitzen, da die unter spitzem Winkel zueinander verlaufenden Profilstangen 14 und 15 im Bereich des Tischbeins 1 aneinander anstoßen.11 shows that the table top for the table T1 must have quarter-circular recesses in the area of the table legs 1, so that it can be inserted appropriately into the frame formed by the profile bars 14 and 15. The table top for the table T2 need not have such a recess in the area of the point A, since the profile bars 14 and 15 which run at an acute angle to one another abut each other in the area of the table leg 1.

Through openings 25 may be present within the horizontal legs of the angular holding elements 24 in order to secure the respective table tops to the angular holding elements 24 by screws.

It should also be pointed out that all Allen screws can be replaced by slotted-head screws and secured by spring washers.

Im vorliegenden Ausführungsbeispiel sind drei Rohrwellen 29 eingezeichnet.13 shows the basic structure of a drawing table for the table system according to the invention. The drawing table is supported by four table legs 1, which, as at the left side can be seen, can also serve to support other table tops. The drawing table includes a swiveling drawing plate 26, two profile bars 27 and 28 on the left and right sides and at least two tubular shafts 29 for connecting the profile bars 27 and 28 to one another. In the present exemplary embodiment, three tubular shafts 29 are shown.

The profile bars 27 and 28 practically form the table top frame in which the drawing board is inserted appropriately, while the tubular shafts 29 form the holding device for holding the drawing board.

The structure of the drawing table is described in detail below with reference to FIGS. 14 to 17.

Die Profilstange 28 besitzt einen zur Profilstange 27 spiegelsymmetrischen Aufbau.14 shows only the left half of the drawing table, on which the profile bar 27 is located. The profile rod 28 has a mirror-symmetrical structure to the profile rod 27.

The profile rod 27 is seen a hollow profile rod with a rectangular cross section in its longitudinal direction. The larger cross-sectional side extends parallel to the longitudinal direction of the table legs. At both ends of the profile rod 27 there are end plates 30, 31 in their interior, which are firmly connected to the profile rod 27. Profile rod 27 and connecting plates 30, 31 can, for. B. consist of steel. The end plates 30, 31 each have two threaded bores 33 which are spaced apart on a straight line which runs parallel to the long cross-sectional side. The distance between the threaded bores 33 is equal to the distance between two through openings 2 in the table leg 1, as seen in the longitudinal direction of the table leg 1. In addition, the threaded bores 33 are not in the center of the cross-sectional profile of the profile rod 27, but as 14 shows, slightly offset to the bottom left. Screws 34, e.g. B. Allen screws are used to connect the profile rod 27 to the two table legs 1. For this purpose, the screws 34 are inserted through the through holes 2 in the table legs 1 and screwed into the threaded holes 33 of the end plates 30, 31.

Im Hinblick auf diese weitere Tischplatte wirkt die Profilstange 27 praktisch als Profilstange 15 in Fig. 6.Due to the special position of the threaded holes 33, it is achieved that the upper edge of the profiled rod 27 is aligned with the cover cap 5 (not shown), one of which is located on an upper end of a table leg 1. A corresponding situation is shown in FIG. 6. On the other hand, the profile bar 27 is not symmetrical to the line connecting the centers of the two left table legs 1 in FIG. 14. Rather, the profile rod 27 is offset due to the special position of the threaded bores 33 inwards or to the right in FIG. 14, that is to say in the direction of the drawing board. This ensures that a further table top can be arranged on the side of the profiled rod 27 facing away from the drawing board, without further design changes. With regard to this further table top, the profile bar 27 practically acts as a profile bar 15 in FIG. 6.

Der Durchmesser der großen Öffnung 37 entspricht dem Außendurchmesser der Rohrwelle 29.The profile rod 27 has in the longitudinal direction in its outer side surface through holes 35 with a small diameter for receiving screws 36 and in the opposite side surface with through holes 37 with a large diameter for receiving the tubular shafts 29. At the end areas within the tubular shafts 29 there is an end plate 38, which is firmly connected to the tubular shaft 29. Pipe shaft 29 and end plates 38 can be made of steel, for example. A concentric threaded bore 39 within the end plates 38 serves to receive a screw 36, so that with the help of the screw 36 the tubular shaft 29 is pulled against the inside of the left profile wall of the profile rod 27 in FIG. 14. The diameter of the large opening 37 corresponds to the outer diameter of the tubular shaft 29.

In this way, the tubular shaft 29 is connected to the profile rod 27 and at the opposite end to the profile rod 28. As already mentioned, two, three or more tubular shafts 29 can lie between the profile rods 27 and 28.

As can be seen in FIG. 16, the drawing plate 26 is carried by the tubular shafts 29 which run perpendicular to the profile bars 27, 28. The upper surface of the drawing plate 26 is flush with the upper surface of the cap 5 or with the upper surface of the profile bars 27, 28. On the front side, on the left in FIG. 16, the drawing plate 26 has bevels. It is also arranged to be pivotable about the front tubular shaft 29 with the aid of pivot bearings 40. For example, three or more pivot bearings 40 arranged at a distance from one another can be arranged on the front tubular shaft 29.

Each pivot bearing 40 has a bearing ring 41, which surrounds the tubular shaft 29, and two flanges 42, 43, via which the bearing ring 41 is fastened to the table top 26 with the aid of screws 44. The screws 44 are screwed into self-locking threaded inserts 45, which are located within the table top 26. Bearing ring 41 and flanges 42, 43 are integrally formed and exist, for. B. made of aluminum.

In order to compensate for the thickness of the bearing ring 41 in the area between the table top 26 and the tubular shaft 29, correspondingly thick rings 46 of z. B. aluminum or plastic applied. In this way a flat position of the table top 26 is ensured when it is completely folded down. Its upper surface is then, as already mentioned, flush with the upper surfaces of the elements 5, 27 and 28. The rings 46 can also be replaced by correspondingly thick semicircular clamping attachments.

It can be seen that a locking washer 46 lies between the outer pivot bearing 40 and the profile rod 27 on the tubular shaft 29 in order to prevent movement of the table top 26 in the longitudinal direction of the tubular shafts 29. A corresponding locking washer 46 also lies between the opposite outer pivot bearing 40 and the profile rod 28.

Die Sicherungsscheiben 46 können z. B. Kunststoff-Gleitscheiben sein.The locking washers 46 can, for. B. plastic sliding washers.

As already mentioned, the table top 26 is pivotally mounted on the front tubular shaft 29 with the aid of the pivot bearings 40. The table top 26 can e.g. B. pivoted by hand or by another suitable device, for. B. by a pneumatic device. If it is only pivoted by hand, an adjusting tube 47, which is shown in FIG. 14, can be used to fix the pivoting position. This adjusting tube 47 runs parallel to the tubular shafts 29 and lies with its two ends on the profile rods 27 and 28. The adjusting tube 47 is, for. B. hollow cylindrical and carries at its two lying on the profile rods 27 and 28 ends friction-increasing linings, for. B. rubber rings 48 which extend in corresponding circumferential grooves of the adjusting tube 47. After pivoting the drawing plate 26, the adjusting tube 47 is rolled as far forward as possible and between the drawing plate 26 on the one hand and the profile tubes 27, 28 on the other trapped. In this way, the inclination of the drawing plate can be secured in a wide angular range without the adjusting tube 47 being pushed away.

The table T1 shown in FIG. 10 could be replaced in a simple manner by a drawing table by replacing the profile bar 15 shown in FIG. 11 by a profile bar 28 and omitting the profile bar 14 extending upwards in FIG. 11. In addition, a further profile bar 27 would be required for the left side of the drawing table with two table legs attached to it, as well as the mentioned tubular shafts 29 and the drawing plate 26. The table T2 in FIG. 10 could be constructed and set up in exactly the same way as before. If its table top is to be additionally supported on the side of the drawing table, then 28 additional threaded holes would have to be provided on the outside of the profile rod for mounting the holding device required for this purpose. Of course, it is also possible to add additional tables to the drawing table on both sides.
