The body 15 is movable between a position where the control panel 11 is pressed relative to the plate 4 (FIG. 3) and a position where the control panel is projecting relative to the plate (FIG. 4). It comprises a clearance 16 opening on its underside and on its face contiguous to the housing 7, so that, when it is in the projecting position relative to the plate 4, one end of this clearance opens onto the outside and constitutes the ventilation circuit outlet. The body 15 is subjected to the action of an elastic member (not shown) which tends to recall in this position. A flat cover 17 is pivotally mounted on the housing 7 by lateral L-shaped legs 18 having a segment parallel to the cover, the pivot axis being parallel to the upper face of the body 15 and passing at the free end of the legs 18. Closing this cover causes the body 15 to be pushed into the housing 7 and locked in the depressed position.

Claims (9)

1. A device for supporting control means (10) for a household appliance (1) enclosed at least in part in a casing (7) provided with a internal ventilation circuit having an outlet orifice (13, 16 and 22) in the vicinity of the control means (10), characterized in that it comprises a body (12, 15 and 21) arranged on the casing (7) having a surface (11) on which the control means (10) are arranged, said body being able to be moved between a first position, wherein the control means (10) are accessible, and a second position, wherein they are not accessible and constituting an opening member for the outlet orifice (13, 16 and 22) in its first position, and a closing member for the outlet orifice (13, 16 and 22) in its second position.

The device as claimed in claim 1, characterized in that the body (12, 15 and 21) comprises a passage (13, 16 and 22) having a first end opening into the casing (7) and a second end in the vicinity of the surface (11) and opening to the outside when the body (12, 15 and 21) is in the first position, said second end constituting the outlet orifice.
3. The device as claimed in claim 1 or in claim 2, characterized in that the body (12 and 21) is able to be moved by pivoting around an axis parallel to the surface (11).
4. The device as claimed in claim 3, characterized in that it comprises elastic means in order to return the body (12 and 21) into the first position and into the second position.
5. The device as claimed in claim 1 and claim 2, characterized in that the body (15) is able to be moved in translation along an axis extending through the casing (7), the second position of the body (15) corresponding to its being retracted into the casing (7).
6. The device as claimed in claim 5, characterized in that a cover (17) is pivotally mounted on the casing (7) in order to cover over the surface (11) when the body (15) is in the second position.
7. The device as claimed in claim 6, characterized in that it comprises elastic means in order to return the body (15) into the first position and in that the cover (17) functions as a locking means to hold the body (15) in the second position.
8. The device as claimed in any one of the preceding claims 1 through 7, characterized in that the household appliance (1) is a table for cooking by induction heating.
9. The device as claimed in claim 8, characterized in that the body (12, 15 and 21) constitutes the control panel of the control of the cooking table.
