Abstract
Plasmalichtbogenschweißvorichtung mit einem Überlastungsprüf kreis, der einen Kurzschluß zwischen der Elektrode (20) und der Brennerdüse (30) erfaßt und die Stromzufuhr abschaltet, wenn der Kurzschluß festgestellt wird. In dem Brennerkabel (130) ist ein Sensorkreis (138, 140) vorgesehen, der den Überlastprüfkreis (82) einschaltet, wenn das Kabel (130) ernstlich durchschlagen wird. Zu dem Sensorkreis gehört eine im Kabel (130) eingebettete Abschirmfolie (138), welche den Hauptleiter (132) umschließt und an den ein Erdungsleiter (140) angeschlossen ist. Der Erdungsleiter (140) erfaßt einen Kurzschluß zwischen der Abschirmfolie (138) und dem Hauptleiter (132), der von einem eindringenden Fremdkörper (150) verursacht wird, und er betätigt den Überlastprüf kreis (82). Zusätzlich ist der Überlastprüfkreis (82) in Verbindung mit einem einzigen Durchgangs-Abschaltkreis (121) wirksam, um die Sicherheit des Brenners zu gewährleisten. Ferner ist ein gleichgerichteter Steuerkreis vorgesehen, um einen stabilen Lichtbogen aufrechtzuerhalten und eine Erosion der Düse und ein damit verbundenes Freilegen der Elektrode (20) zu verhindern.
