Description

The invention relates to a device for removing sacks and the like from a magazine and feeding them to a processing position, e.g. a position from which the bags can be detected by a filling device, in which a removal device for the bags and a transport device associated therewith for transporting the bags lifted out of the magazine to the predetermined position, in which the magazine has a width which considerably exceeds the width of a bag has and is intended for receiving a stack of bags offset in the transverse direction.

In known devices, a magazine is usually provided, the width of which essentially corresponds to that of the sacks in which the sacks are stacked edge-to-edge. With these devices, the transport of the sack removed from the magazine takes place essentially in a straight line to the intended processing or transfer position, since since the sacks have practically no lateral forces, the sacks are not guided laterally.

The disadvantage of these solutions consists essentially in the fact that, particularly in the case of sacks whose side walls are provided with a fold, the stack of empty sacks located in the magazine is considerably higher on its side edges than in its central region. However, this not only leads to a waste of magazine space, but also to problems when handling the stacked bags and when removing the bags from the magazine.

Furthermore, from DE-AS 25 49 264 a device of the type mentioned was known, in which the magazine has a width exceeding the width of the sacks, it being provided that the packages of sacks are stacked offset in the magazine. The individual bags are removed from this known device by means of suction lifters, which have a suction head which can be connected to a suction line or atmosphere and which sucks the top sack in order to hold it due to a corresponding pressure difference, the suction lifters being pivotable from a horizontal plane into a vertical plane, from which position the individual Bags are brought into an end position by means of a further conveyor, from which they can be transferred to a filling station.

The disadvantage of this known device is its complicated structure.

The aim of the invention is to propose a device of the type mentioned at the outset in which these disadvantages are avoided and which is distinguished by a simple structure and a simple operating sequence.

According to the invention, this is achieved in that the removal device is followed by a stop which can be brought into abutment on at least one longitudinal side of a sack and is movable transversely to the direction of transport of the sack, and which has a further stop running parallel to the direction of transport of the sack, optionally separated by two in the direction of transport of the sack Interacts fingers formed stop against which the sack can be brought to rest.

These measures make it possible in a very simple manner to bring the sacks which are stacked offset from one another into a position from which they can be easily transported on to a filling station. In practice, despite the wider magazine, nothing changes with regard to the specified processing or transfer position, since it is possible with the movable stop to bring each sack into the same position with respect to a lateral distance from a predetermined fixed point.

In addition, it is also possible for existing facilities for magazines corresponding in width to the sacks to be picked up, in which the sacks are lifted out of the magazine and brought to a transfer table, to convert them in accordance with the invention, it being only necessary ent use wider magazines and to provide the transfer table with the appropriate stops.

According to a further feature of the invention, it can be provided that both stops are movably held transversely to the conveying direction of the sack.

In this way it is possible to keep the lateral displacement for the individual bags small and to align them in any case.

It can further be provided that the two stops can be moved in opposite directions to one another and are driven by a common drive. This enables the bags to be aligned particularly precisely.

In a preferred embodiment of the invention it can be provided that the stops are formed by two pairs of fingers, the slots of the support of the sacks penetrate from below and are held pivotably and are connected to this by rods eccentrically connected to a drivable eccentric disc.

In this way, the construction of the device is very simple in terms of construction.

In order to be able to adjust the device in a simple manner to different sack widths, it can further be provided that the fingers are bent essentially L-shaped and with one leg are held in an adjustable and lockable manner in a pivotably arranged arm which is connected to the eccentric disk a hinged rod is connected.

The invention will now be explained in more detail with reference to the drawing. Show:

  • Fig. 2 is a plan view of the device according to the invention and
  • 3 shows a section along the line III-III in FIG. 2nd

In the magazine 1, the bags 2 are stacked, the individual bags 2 or smaller packages of bags being arranged laterally offset, as can be seen from FIG. 2, in which the pressed-in folds 3 of the side walls of the bags 2 are shown with a short dash Lines and the side edges 4 of the offset sacks are indicated with long dashed lines.

The stack of sack 2 can always be held in a position by means of the bottom 5 which can be raised and lowered, in which the top sack 2 is located in a position near the upper end of the magazine 1.

A chain grate 6 runs around the magazine via deflection wheels 11, one or a pair of which is driven. This chain grate 6 serves to transport the bags 2 in the direction of the predetermined transfer position 7 and is provided with grate fields 8, in which the two chains are connected with grate bars 10, which are separated from one another by sections 9, in which no grate bars 10 are arranged. These sections 9 are expediently dimensioned longer than the magazine in the transport direction of the chain grate 6.

A removal device 12 is arranged above the magazine and is essentially formed by an angle lever which can be moved by means of a cylinder-piston device and which carries a suction head 13 at its free end. The removal device 12 is controlled in such a way that the angle lever engages with its suction head 13 through the chain grate 6, while a section 9 passes underneath the removal device 12 without grate bars.

With this suction head 13, the top sack 2 of the magazine 1 can be raised and brought with its one end into a position above the chain grate 6.

The subsequent grate field 8 lifts, as can be seen from FIG. 1, the sack 2 raised at its one end over its entire length, after which the suction head 13 is relaxed, so that the end of the sack 2 falls onto the chain grate and from it is taken away.

The chain grate 6 pushes the sack 2 to a further transport device 14, which is essentially by several running belt 15 is formed, one of which runs just above a table 16. These belts 15 are driven intermittently by a controlled drive 17 which is controlled by a position sensor 18. It is provided that the drive is stopped after a predetermined deceleration curve as soon as the position sensor 18 detects the front edge of a sack 2 and is activated again as soon as the position sensor, which is designed, for example, as a light barrier. can, has detected that the rear edge of the sack has passed over this area.

In this way it is ensured that the sack 2 comes to rest at a certain point 7, at which it is e.g. a closable hopper 20 can be detected.

In the illustrated embodiment, four slots 21 are arranged in the table 16 transversely to the transport direction of the bags, which are penetrated by two pairs of stops 22, 22 '.

As can be seen from FIG. 3, these stops are movable in opposite directions to one another. In this case, pivotally held arms 23, 23 'are provided, at the free ends of which fingers 24, 24' which are essentially L-shaped are held so that they can be adjusted and locked. This enables an adjustment of the distance between the stops 22, 22 ', at their greatest approximation remaining distance and thus an adjustment to the width of the folded bags.

The arms 23, 23 'are articulated on rods 25 with an eccentric disc 26, which can be pivoted in alternating directions by a certain angular amount, the articulation points of the rods 25 being offset from one another by 180 °.

If a sack 2 now comes from the chain grate 6 with its front edge into the region of the transport device 14, it is conveyed further by this and is at most prepared by the guide plates 27. The stops 22, 22 'are in their outermost position, so that the sack can be moved freely in the direction of position 7.

If the sack 2 gets into the area of the position sensor 18, the drive of the belt 15 is stopped and the sack comes to a standstill in position 7, after which the eccentric disk 26 is pivoted and the stops 22, 22 'are moved towards one another and the sack is opened is brought into a central position from which it can be properly gripped by the feed device 19 of the closable hopper 20.
