Das Schloß kann beispielsweise auch dadurch einfach überlistet werden, indem zwischen Schutzbeschlag und Beschlag eine dünne Folie eingeschoben wird, mit der der einzige Riegel hochgedrückt werden kann. Ein weiterer Nachteil besteht darin, daß ein derartiges Magnetschloß wenig Schließmöglichkeiten hat, wodurch die Sicherheit erheblich beeinträchtigt ist.
