Abstract

A slot nozzle for applying a liquid, high-polymeric material, in particular a polyurethane-based hot-melt adhesive, with a nozzle body, a feed channel for the liquid material in the nozzle body, a controllable shut-off valve, an expansion chamber adjoining the feed channel and with an outlet slot connected to the expansion chamber, has a shut-off valve which is integrated in the nozzle body; the liquid, high-polymeric material flows over a substantially straight section from the shut-off valve through a short feed channel into the expansion chamber. <IMAGE>
