Abstract

A device for applying cosmetic or pharmaceutical medium consists of a cylindrical body (3) which contains the liquid medium. The body is connected to a balloon (5) made from flexible material. When the balloon is compressed, air is driven into the body and causes an atomised stream of a mixture of air and medium to be ejected through the nozzle (20). The body (3) is initially provided with a cover (40) which is torn away before the device is used in order to expose the nozzle (20).
