Description
- L'invention concerne un support rigide pour conditionnement de produit alimentaire.
- Il existe actuellement sur le marché un certain nombre de barquettes destinées à la conservation et à la présentation à la vente de la viande, du poisson et autres produits alimentaires. Un problème particulier se présente dans tous les cas où le produit concerné est susceptible de générer un exsudat, ce qui a pour effet de nuire non seulement à la qualité de la conservation mais aussi à l'aspect peu engageant du produit qui se trouve alors boudé par le consommateur.
- Certains fabricants disposent dans le fond des barquettes une couche d'un matériau absorbant. Le problème n'est alors que partiellement résolu, car si cette couche absorbe l'exsudat, c'est elle qui se trouve souillée tout en restant en contact direct avec le produit à consommer.
- Il existe également sur le marché un conditionnement se présentant sous la forme de deux barquettes empilées l'une sur l'autre. Une couche d'un matériau absorbant est disposée entre les deux et la barquette supérieure qui reçoit le produit à conserver est percée d'un certain nombre de gros orifices pour laisser s'écouler l'exsudat sur le matériau absorbant. Certes, l'aspect est déjà un peu plus flatteur que dans le cas précédent mais il sagit là d'un procédé couteux, car il nécessite la mise en oeuvre de deux barquettes pour ne former en fin de compte qu'un seul contenant.
- De plus, toutes ces barquettes ne sont pas adaptées à tous types de produits. Par exemple, la commercialisation de saumon fumé, pour être de qualité, doit être effectuée sur un support rigide. Le plus souvent, il s'agit d'un support en carton portant recto-verso une couche d'aluminium, ce qui ne résoud en rien le problème de l'exsudat.
- La présente invention a pour objet de pallier ces inconvénients et concerne un support rigide pour conditionnement de produit alimentaire comportant une âme en carton recouvert recto-verso d'une feuille d'aluminium, caractérisé en ce qu'il comporte en outre, entre la feuille d'aluminium qui est en contact avec le produit alimentaire et l'âme en carton, une feuille de buvard, cette feuille d'aluminium comportant une pluralité de microperforations.
- L'invention sera mieux comprise à l'aide des explications qui vont suivre.
- Un tel support est constitué de quatre couches qui se répartissent comme suit:
- une première couche d'aluminium qui, selon une caractéristique de l'invention, comporte une pluralité de microperforations;
- un buvard absorbant l'humidité;
- une âme rigide en carton anti-absorbant;
- une seconde couche d'aluminium. - La première couche d'aluminium comporte donc selon l'invention une pluralité de microperforations. Les dimensions, la densité et la répartition de ces microperforations sont modulées pour répondre à deux exigences: elles doivent en effet assurer le transfert de l'exsudat vers la couche de buvard sous-jacente, mais en même temps réguler l'absorption pour que le produit alimentaire, par exemple le poisson, ne se desséche pas trop vite.
- Selon une autre caractéristique de l'invention, cette densité de microperforations et leur répartition, tout en satisfaisant les deux fonctions précédentes (transfert d'exsudat et non desséchement du produit), peuvent assurer une troisième fonction, celle d'inscrire en clair une information. Par exemple, les microperforations sont réparties de telle sorte quelles reproduisent le nom du fabricant, la date limite de consommation, etc.
- Selon une autre caractéristique de l'invention, le buvard est enduit d'un mélange inhibiteur de bactéries. L'enduction du buvard au moyen de la solution traitante peut se faire directement sur le site de fabrication des supports.
- Dans ces conditions, d'une part, le produit ne se trouve plus en contact avec un support humide, et d'autre part, un agent conservateur contribue à une amélioration très nette de la conservation.
- L'invention s'applique à tout type de support rigide destiné à la conservation et à la commercialisation de produits alimentaires risquant d'exsuder au cours du temps.
