Damit diese Verstellung bei jeder Umfangselementgruppe immer gleichzeitig erfolgt, trägt jede Exzenterwelle ein Ritzel, das mit einem zentrisch zum Sammelzylinder drehbar gelagerten Stirnrad im Eingriff steht (siehe auch DE-PS 20 40 494). Durch Verändern der Winkellage dieses Stirnrades zum Sammelzylinder wird somit zwangsläufig auch die radiale Lage der Umfangssegmente und dadurch der aktive Durchmesser des Sammelzylinders verändert.An embodiment corresponding to the preamble is known from practice. - A collecting cylinder according to claims 1 to 3, characterised in that the angular position of the adjusting disc (12) relative to the collecting cylinder (1) can be remote-controlled both during operation and standstill.
- A collecting cylinder according to claims 1 to 3, characterised in that at least one end of each eccentric shaft (6) is constructed in such a manner that the radial position of the circumferential segments (5) can be manually adjusted from any eccentric shaft (6) during standstill.
