Mit einem von der Aussenseite des Schliesszylinders in die Durchgänge eingesetzten Dorn, bei­spielsweise eine aufgebogene Bureauklammer, wird das Sperr­element in eine diesen entsperrende Position gebracht und der Schliesszylinder aus der Führungshülse herausgezogen. Der neue Schliesszylinder wird dann in die Führungshülse einge­setzt, wobei das Sperrelement von selbst in die Ausnehmung der Führungshülse einschnappt. Das Auswechseln kann somit in einfacher Weise und mit wenigen Griffen vorgenommen werden und erfordert keinerlei handwerkliches Geschick. Die Erfindung macht Bureauanlagen möglich, bei denen jeder Mitarbeiter bei einem Bureauwechsel seine Schliesszylinder mitnehmen und das Auswechseln der Schliesszylinder ohne Fachpersonal vorge­nommen werden kann.
