Claims (3)

  1. Türschloß für Frontlader-Waschmaschinen und -Trockner, umfassend
    - einen Trägerkörper (6), der dazu ausgelegt ist, an dem Aufbau der Maschine (1) befestigt zu werden;
    - Verschlußmittel (12,14) mit einem Schieber (12), welcher dazu angeordnet ist, in einer ersten Position mit einem an der Tür (2) angebrachten Eingriffelement (8) in Eingriff zu stehen, um die Tür (2) verschlossen zu halten, und sich in einer zweiten Position von dem Eingriffelement (8) zu lösen, um das Öffnen der Tür (2) zu ermöglichen; wobei der Schieber (12) an einem Hebelelement (14) angelenkt ist, welches ein erstes an dem Trägerkörper (6) angelenktes Ende (14a) und ein zweites Ende (14b) aufweist, das mit einem manuell betätigbaren Steuermittel (C) verbunden ist, welches geeignet ist, das Verschwenken des Hebelelements (14) derart zu bewirken, daß der Schieber (12) von dem Eingriffelement (8) gelöst wird; und
    - Sicherungsmittel (19) mit einem Anschlag (19), welcher dazu angeordnet ist, seitlich von dem Trägerkörper (6) wegzuragen, um das Verschwenken des Hebelelements (14) zu verhindern, wenn die Maschine in Betrieb ist;
    dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß
    der Schieber (12) im wesentlichen orthogonal zu dem Hebelelement (14) angeordnet ist und einen seitlichen Rand (12a) aufweist, welcher neben einer in dem Körper (6) für den Durchlaß des Eingriffelements (8) vorgesehenen Öffnung (7) angeordnet ist, wobei der Rand (12a) dazu angeordnet ist, mit dem Eingriffelement (8) in Schnappeingriff zu gelangen, um die Tür (2) verschlossen zu halten, und wobei der Schieber auch einen Ausschnittsbereich (13) aufweist, um das Lösen des Eingriffelements (8) von dem Schieber (12) zu ermöglichen, wenn der letztere durch das Hebelelement (14) zum Verschieben gezwungen wird.
  2. Schloß nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Hebelelement (14) einen seitlichen Rückhaltearm (18) aufweist, der dazu angeordnet ist, mit dem von dem Körper (6) wegragenden Anschlag (19) zusammenzuwirken, um zu verhindern, daß das Hebelelement (14) verschwenkt, wenn die Maschine in Betrieb ist.
  3. Schloß nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß eine Spannfeder (20) zwischen dem Trägerkörper (6) und dem Hebelelement (14) angeordnet ist, um das Hebelelement (14) zu der dem geschlossenen Zustand der Tür (2) entsprechenden Position zu drängen.
