Abstract
Ein Verfahren und eine Vorrichtung zum Trocknen von Loch ziegelrohlingen, bei denen Trocknungsluft auf die die Loch mündungen aufweisenden Stirnflächen der Rohlinge (54) geblasen wird, um eine Durchströmung der Lochkanäle zu bewirken. Zur Aufrechterhaltung einer intensiven Durchströmung der Lochkanäle ist vorgesehen, daß die Rohlinge (54) in einer einzigen, quer zur Durchströmungsrichtung gerichteten Schicht, vorzugsweise in einer Horizontalschicht, angeordnet sind. Die Blasvorrichtung (80) zur Förderung der Trocknungsluft weist mit Luftdurchtrittsöffnungen versehene Teile (82) auf, die an den beiden Seiten der Schicht, an denen die Lochkanalmündungen freiliegen, angeordnet sind. Dabei wird Trocknungsluft in stets gleichbleibender Richtung, aufgrund einer entsprechenden Anordnung von Umlenkschächten (82) ggf. in bestimmten Bereichen alternierend, durch die Lochkanäle geblasen.
