Abstract

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft einen Universalstockgemäss Oberbegriff des Anspruchs 1. Ein derartiger Stock zur wahlweisen Befestigung eines Eispickels oder einer Schneeschaufel ist in der EP-A-0 191 917 beschrieben. The tubes 1 and 2 and their displacement path can be chosen for example that the stock shaft is about 0.70 m when pushed together and about 1.20 m when fully extended.

Die Figuren 2 bis 5 zeigen, in etwas kleinerem Massstab als Figur 1, die vielseitige Verwendbarkeit und die einfache Bedienung des Stockes. Der Handgriff 6 ist, wie die Figuren 2 und 3 zeigen, als kombinierter Gehstockgriff und Skistockgriff ausgebildet und verwendbar. In der Position nach Figuren 1 und 2 steht der Griff quer zur Längsachse des Stockes und ist mittels der Bohrungen 5 und 7 gemäss Figur 1 mit demselben gekuppelt. Der Handgriff kann aber in der Position nach Figur 3 mit entsprechenden Bohrungen 5′ und 7′ in Richtung der Längsachse mit dem Stockschaft verbunden werden. Entsprechend können mit dem unteren Ende des Rohres 2 wahlweise der Puffer 8, 9, gemäss Figur 1, eine Stockspitze 31 mit einem entsprechenden Kupplungsrohr 32 und einem Sicherungsknopf 10 oder aber ein Schneeteller 33 mit Skistockspitze 34 mit einem entsprechenden Kupplungsrohr 35 und einem Sicherungsknopf 10 (Fig. 5) mit dem unteren Ende des Stockschaftes verbunden werden. Auf einen Gummiring 35a ist eine Kupplungshülse 37 abziehbar gehalten, die einem später erläuterten Zweck dient. Es kann schliesslich mit dem oberen Ende des Stockschaftes auch ein Krückengriff 36 gemäss Figur 4 verbunden werden, der eine Bohrung 5˝ und eine Bohrung 7˝ entsprechend den Bohrungen 5 und 7 gemäss Figur 1 aufweist. Als Skistock für alpinen Skilauf weist der Stock mit dem längsgestellten Griff 6 und dem Schneeteller mit Spitze 34 eine Gesamtlänge von beispielsweise 1,32 m auf. Bei Anwendung des Krückengriffes 36 ist der Stockschaft 1,2 entsprechend zu verkürzen. Es kann ein Verlängerungsstück vorgesehen sein, welches zwischen das untere Ende des Rohres 2 und den Schneeteller 33 eingefügt werden kann und das an seinen Enden entsprechende Kupplungsmittel aufweist. Dieses Zwischenstück kann beispielsweise eine Länge von 30 cm aufweisen, um den Skistock für Langlauf auf eine totale Länge von etwa 1,60 m zu bringen.Figures 2 to 5 show, on a somewhat smaller scale than Figure 1, the versatility and ease of use of the stick. Diese Lawinensonde erreicht eine Länge von etwa 2,40 m. Claims (3)

  1. Universal stick, comprising two telescopic tubes (1, 2) which are capable of being incompressibly and inextensibly coupled in any mutual position, and to the free ends of which accessories are selectively connectable, a coupling being provided at the end of one tube (2) which engages in the other tube (1), characterised in that said coupling comprises a cone (14) under the action of a spring (19), said cone acting upon coupling balls (15) and being axially displaceable by means of a releasing rod (18), said cone (14) being connected to a brake (20 - 22) having spring-loaded brake elements (22) whose axial braking force allows a displacement of said cone (14) when the force of said spring (19) acting thereupon is overcome.
  2. Stick according to claim 1, characterised in that said coupling (14, 15) can be disengaged by actuating a releasing member (29) which acts upon said releasing rod (18) and is disposed in such a manner that said coupling (14, 15) is in the range of both of said tubes (1, 2), and said releasing member (29) remains freely accessible, in all relative positions of said tubes.
  3. Stick according to claim 2, characterised in that said releasing member is a push-button (29) which moves transversely with respect to the tube axis and which acts upon said releasing rod through an inclined surface (28).
