Definitions
- the invention relates to an electromagnetic relay according to the preamble of claim 1.
- Such a relay is known from DE-OS 21 02 627.
- a tab is provided in a U-shaped section of the angular leaf spring, the free end of which projects beyond the bearing point in the region of the armature bearing.
- the strips of the leaf spring present on the side of the cutout are loop-shaped.
- the invention is intended to achieve the object of designing a relay of the type mentioned at the outset in such a way that lifting of the armature is avoided at least in the longitudinal direction of the yoke in the event of shock loads or high acceleration.
- the armature becomes through the angled part (s) of the leaf spring applied to the front of the yoke practically without play. Any movement of the armature at right angles to the yoke no longer leads to severe malfunctions, since this does not cause a change in the distance between the yoke and armature.
- the leaf spring can also be designed so that this displacement is also made more difficult.
- the support body 1 can be seen from an electrically insulating material in which the connection pins 2 for a coil 3 and for a contact system are attached.
- the contact system consists of the two fixed contacts 4 and 5 and a movable contact 6.
- the magnet system consists of a core 7 passing through the coil 3, a lower end face Yoke section 8, an upper end yoke section 9 and an anchor 10 designed as a hinged anchor.
- the movable contact 6 is attached to the armature 10 and is movable with it. It is attached to a free end 11 of a leaf spring 12 forming an angle. One leg 13 of the leaf spring 12 is attached to the armature 10 and the other leg 14 is attached to the upper yoke section 9.
- the right end 15 of the upper yoke section 9 in FIG. 1 forms the bearing edge 16 for the butt-fitting anchor 10.
- the anchor 10 is arranged so that its end edge 17 is aligned with the outside 18 of the yoke section 9.
- the leg 14 of the leaf spring 12 which is firmly connected to the yoke section 9, for example by riveting or spot welding, is U-shaped in the embodiment shown in FIGS. 1 to 3 Cutout 19 and a tab 20 provided. The latter extends from the end 21 of the leg 14 in the direction of the bearing edge 16 and covers it.
- the free end 22 of the tab 20 is angled and engages around the edge 23 of the armature 10.
- the angled part 24 holds the armature at the bearing point in such a way that it cannot or hardly lift off the bearing edge 16 in the event of impact loads or high accelerations in the longitudinal direction of the bracket 20 or perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the armature 10.
- the displacement of the armature 10 with respect to the yoke section 9 in the longitudinal direction of the armature is avoided by the tab 20, which rests, preferably resiliently, on the yoke section 9 and the end edge 17.
- the effect of the tab 20 is further enhanced by the leg parts 14.1 extending beyond the bearing edge 16 and end edge 17 of the armature 10 and 14.2 supports the leaf spring 12.
- the leg parts 14.1 and 14.2 of the leaf spring 12 continue in bends 25 in the manner of a loop, which form the angular spring-elastic connection between the two legs 13 and 14 of the leaf spring 12.
- the leaf spring 12 can be provided with two L-shaped cutouts 26 and 27. As a result, two lateral tabs 29 are formed and the remaining middle leg 28 is connected to the leg 13 of the leaf spring 12 via the bend 30. In this embodiment of the leaf spring 12, the leg 28 covers the bearing edge 16 and then runs in the form of a loop. This embodiment of the leaf spring 12 is also suitable for securing the armature against displacement in one or more directions.
- the tabs 20 are part of the leaf spring 12. However, it is also possible to fasten the tabs as individual parts on the upper yoke section 9. Such an exemplary embodiment is illustrated in FIG. 5, which corresponds in principle to the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 3.
- the exemplary embodiments with tabs 20 separated from the leaf spring 12 have the advantage that a material with a higher bending stiffness than that of the leaf spring 12 can be used for the tabs 20. As a result, the leaf spring 12 can be made very soft while maintaining a high resistance to displacement of the armature 10, and good mobility of the armature 10 about its pivot axis can be achieved with little friction loss.
- tabs 2 separated from the leaf springs 12 it is also no longer necessary to make the tabs from a resilient material, such as spring bronze. Rather, iron, copper, plastic, etc. can also be used as the material and the material thickness selected according to the desired effect.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to an electromagnetic relay according to the preamble of claim 1.
Such a relay is known from DE-OS 21 02 627. In the known relay, a tab is provided in a U-shaped section of the angular leaf spring, the free end of which projects beyond the bearing point in the region of the armature bearing. The strips of the leaf spring present on the side of the cutout are loop-shaped. With such a design of the leaf spring, the end edge of the armature is pressed against the yoke leg; however, if the relay is subjected to strong mechanical acceleration, the armature may lift off the yoke. This can cause incorrect switching and contact bouncing.
The invention is intended to achieve the object of designing a relay of the type mentioned at the outset in such a way that lifting of the armature is avoided at least in the longitudinal direction of the yoke in the event of shock loads or high acceleration.
This object is achieved by the features specified in the characterizing part of claim 1. The armature becomes through the angled part (s) of the leaf spring applied to the front of the yoke practically without play. Any movement of the armature at right angles to the yoke no longer leads to severe malfunctions, since this does not cause a change in the distance between the yoke and armature. However, the leaf spring can also be designed so that this displacement is also made more difficult.
Further advantageous details of the invention are specified in the subclaims and described below with reference to an exemplary embodiment illustrated in the drawing.

In Fig. 1, the support body 1 can be seen from an electrically insulating material in which the connection pins 2 for a coil 3 and for a contact system are attached. The contact system consists of the two
The magnet system consists of a core 7 passing through the coil 3, a lower end face Yoke
The movable contact 6 is attached to the
The
The displacement of the
Instead of a U-shaped cutout 19 (FIG. 3), the
In the exemplary embodiments shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, the
In the exemplary embodiments with
