Abstract

A shipping container for plants with root clumps has a bag (4), made of shrinkable film, which accommodates the root clump. Der Schrumpfverschluß 5 ist durch gezieltes Aufblasen von Heißluft auf die Folie auf den genannten Bereich herge­stellt worden. Oberhalb des Schrumpfverschlusses 5 hat der Beutel 4 einen ungeschrumpften freien Folienrand 6, der einen Trichter zum Einfüllen von Flüssigkeit in den Beutel 4 bildet.In the drawing, an embodiment of the invention is shown. 1. Versandbehälter mit Beutel aus Folie für Pflanzen mit Wurzelballen,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der den Wur­zelballen aufnehmende Beutel (4) aus schrumpffähiger Folie ausgebildet und im Bereich zwischen den Pflanzentrieben (1) und dem Wurzelballen (2) mit einem diesen Bereich nach einem örtlich begrenzten Schrumpfprozeß eng umhüllenden Schrumpfverschluß (5) versehen ist.
