Abstract

The accessory is foreseen with a small punching block (1), which can be taken from a sterilized make, consisting of superposed film cases (4), kept in position by the natural adhesivity of the material, to fit on microphones of telephones and citophones, and with a system of bores in the centre (2) for the sound passage. The initial operator can thus approach the wall (3) of the microphone to his mouth avoiding contages. The subsequent user will restore the initial hygienity condition of the microphone exposure wall (3) by throwing away the already used sheath: to do so, he will detach the said case (4) by initial lifting of its border.

Description

  • The invention refers to an accessory for telephones and similar devices, allowing to approach the microphone to the operator's mouth and to avoid the possibility of contagions. In availing oneself of such means, particularly of those for public use, the user runs heavy risks of contagion because his mouth comes near the microphone exposed wall. Consequently, the breath of the speaker hits the said exposure wall which can be reached by saliva small drops.
  • At present no means or intervention are known aiming at solving this heavy problem. On the other hand, the employ of disinfectant to project by means of a gas on the part must be excluded because would injure the inside device by passing through the bores for the sound emission, and furthermore such means could not be practicably employed with public devices. On the base of the present knowledges and methodologies, the problem at first sight seems not soluble since, even if a protection part is employed, this one should afterwards be fitted and replaced by another according to the user's change.
  • The present invention enables the integral solution of the problem by means of a new conception proceeding which enables to bring a set of sheathes on pile to be singularly used by each one of the operators who will ensue in the use of the means. Thus in each subsequent use phase, the hygienic condition will exclude any possibility of contages. The system foresees to use a small block obtained by means of punching, consisting of film sleeves fitted on a pile and contained in composition by the natural adhesivity of the material, with a central system of bores allowing the passage of the sounds. This block can be taken away in different ways from a sterilized compound in containers of different kinds and fitted directly by contact on the outer wall of telephone microphones, citophones and the like. It is thus allowed to the first user to approach the microphone to his mouth and to avoid contagions. The subsequent operator can then restore the initial hygioenity condition of the outer microphone wall by throwing away the already used sleeve by taking it away by the initial lifting of one of its borders. In a further version, a layer is foreseen which is coaxially fitted on the microphone body, to fit the block of superposed sleeves with mnemonic checking. In order to facilitate the removal of the sleeve border, in a version a small block is foreseen which consists of superposed sleeves in a pile and having a diminishing surface upwards. This condition facilitated the nail insertion for taking away the border.
  • An execution form is illustrated in an essential and not limiting version in the drawings of table 1. With reference to this one, fig. 1 is the perspective view of a block 1 in discoidal form, with central system of bores 2 which can be noted in the sterilized execution 5. Fig. 2 is the view of a hand-gripped cornet particular with discoidal block 1 fitted on the relevant wall 3 of the microphone. Fig. 3 is another view of the cornet particular before its use with the operator's hand who detaches the sleeve 4 used by the previous user.
  • In the executions, the cornet shape, the number of the protection sleeves, the materials and anything else in this connection may be foreseen in different ways. The block can be directly fitted by pressure or by other binding systems. In particular, the use of other means on the microphone body is foreseen to act as imposers of the sleeve blocks. The shape of the sleeves may be foreseen in different ways and referred to the one of the microphone body exposure wall.

Claims (3)

1) Accessory to fit on telephones and citophones to avoid contagions, characterized by the fact that the use of a block (1) is foreseen which can be carried out by means of punching, consisting of film sleeves (4) fitted in pile and kept in composition by the natural material adhesivity, with central system of bores for the sound passage. The above block (1) can be taken away in different ways from a sterilized make (5) and directly fitted by means of contact on the exposition wall (3) of the telephone, citophone and similar devices. The initial operator can thus approach the microphone to his mouth and avoid contagions. The subsequent user will then restore the initial hygienicity conditions on the exposure wall (3) by tearing away the sleeve already used detaching it by the initial lifting of one of its borders.
2) Accessory to fit on telephones and citophones to avoid contagions, as per claim 1, characterized by the fact that, in a version, the use of an imposer is foreseen, to fit coaxially on the microphone body so as to impose in a mnemonic way the block (1) of superposed sleeves (4).
3) Accessory to fit on telephones and citophones to avoid contagions, as per claim 1, characterized by the fact that, in a version, the use of a block (1) is foreseen consisting of sleeves (4) fitted in a pile and with an upwards decreasing surface. This facilitates taking them away by inserting the nail into their border.
