Description

The present invention relates to a central heating installation provided with a hot water circuit for domestic use or sanitary water and comprising a heating device comprising an envelope or ferrule, the lower part of which is provided with a burner, in particular of a gas burner and on which a pipe is wound or not in which the water circulates from the heating circuit, this circuit then passing through a bundle of fins located at the upper part of the envelope on the trajectory of the hot gases escaping from the latter to then be directed to a discharge pipe.

There are known central heating installations of this type in which the domestic hot water circuit comprises a second conduit in which the heating water circulates, and which crosses the bundle of fins in intimate thermal contact with the first conduit in which circulates the heating water.

French Patent No. 1,352,607 describes such a heating installation in which the intimate thermal connection between the first conduit, in which the water from the heating circuit circulates, and the second conduit in which the water from the sanitary circuit circulates, is obtained by joining the two conduits so that they constitute a double-passage tube which crosses the bundle of fins, this tube having a cross section of suitable shape, for example circular or elliptical.

On connaît également par BE-A-671 097 des installations de chauffage à double conduit dans lesquelles le contact thermique intime entre les deux conduits, respectivement du circuit de l'eau de chauffage et du circuit de l'eau sanitaire, est obtenu en incorporant l'un des conduits dans l'autre, ces deux conduits étant alors réalisés sous la forme de deux tubes, éventuellement concentriques, traversant le faisceau d'ailettes de l'appareil de chauffage, la surface extérieure du tube intérieur étant appliquée jointivement contre la surface intérieure du tube extérieur.BE-A-671 097 also discloses double duct heating installations in which the intimate thermal contact between the two ducts, respectively of the heating water circuit and the domestic water circuit, is obtained by incorporating one of the conduits in the other, these two conduits then being produced in the form of two tubes, possibly concentric, passing through the bundle of fins of the heating appliance, the external surface of the internal tube being applied joined against the inner surface of the outer tube.

It follows that in the event of prolonged non-circulation of the water in one of the conduits, its temperature can exceed that of the moving water, the totality of the calories collected by the water not circulating, being not transmitted to circulating water. It follows that, on these known installations, it is necessary to circulate the heating water by starting the accelerator of the heating circuit to obtain immediate heating of the domestic water, which means that provision must be made for separate circuit allowing this circulation, when the central heating installation is not in service (summer period).

To overcome these difficulties, it has been envisaged - FR A 1 484 821 - to produce a heat exchanger in which the heating circuit, in its crossing of the fin bundle, is produced in the form of a plurality of flattened tubes connected to each other by elbows and the sanitary water circuit is produced in the form of a tube folded in an S or a pin shape and arranged inside the flattened tubes constituting the duct of the heating circuit.

In such a known installation, the rectilinear walls of the tube of the sanitary water circuit are pressed and generally welded against the corresponding walls of the flattened tube of the heating water circuit in which the sanitary water circuit is positioned. This arrangement has a serious drawback: in fact, physical contact between the two tubes can lead to the boiling of domestic water because in this case, there is a direct thermal contact between the hot gas passing through the fin bundle and the two tubes constitute the domestic water and heating circuits.

The present invention proposes to provide an improved installation which does not have the drawbacks mentioned above.

It therefore relates to a central heating installation provided with a hot water circuit for domestic use, or sanitary water, which comprises a heating device comprising a ferrule whose inner part is provided with a burner, in particular of a gas burner, and on which a heating circuit duct is wound or not, which then crosses a bundle of fins located at the upper part of the shell, on the hot gas path, the heating circuit in its crossing of the fin bundle being produced in the form of a plurality of flattened tubes connected to each other by elbows and the domestic hot water circuit being produced in the form of a tube shaped as a pin or serpentine and disposed inside said flattened tubes when crossing the fin bundle, characterized in that:
- the tubes of the domestic hot water circuit, arranged in a pin or serpentine in the flattened tubes of the heating water circuit are not in contact with the latter and
- The dimensions of said flattened tubes and said tubes are chosen so that the volume of water contained between the flattened tubes and the convolutions of the hairpin tubes is as small as possible.

According to a characteristic of this invention, there is provided at each end of the tubes flattened externally to the fin bundle, an end piece which is brazed or welded on said end so as to close it, this end piece having the form of a plate provided with 'a first opening for the connection of the bent tube, ensuring the connection between the coils or pins of the sanitary water conduit and a second opening for the connection of the bent tube which ensures the connection between two consecutive flattened tubes.

According to another characteristic of this invention and with a view to further increasing the heat exchanges between the heating water circuit and that of the sanitary water, when they pass through the fin bundle, a transmission surface is provided. thermal between the convolutions of the tube wound in a pin or in a spiral, inside the flattened tubes.

According to the invention, said thermal transmission surface is produced in the form of a metal plate comprising partially cylindrical parts matching the shape of the tube shaped as a pin, on which they come to engage, connected by vertical flat parts.

Afin d'améliorer la transmission thermique, les deux conduits ont un échange thermique intime dans la partie supérieure de l'appareil de chauffage où est positionné le faisceau d'ailettes 18 (partie représentée aux figures 1 et 2).Referring to the drawings and in particular to Figures 1 and 2, it can be seen that the heating device which is the subject of this invention comprises a first duct 10 for heating the water of the central heating circuit and a second duct 12 for heating water for domestic use or sanitary water. In order to improve the thermal transmission, the two conduits have an intimate heat exchange in the upper part of the heating appliance where the fin bundle 18 is positioned (part shown in FIGS. 1 and 2).

According to the invention in this upper part of the heating appliance, the duct 10 ′ of the circuit in which the heating water circulates is in the form of a plurality of flattened tubes such as 10 ′, which each have a oval cross section, or substantially oval, the major axis of which is arranged vertically. As will be described in detail below, the different flattened tubes 10 ′ arranged in parallel are connected at their ends by bent tubes such as 14.

The sanitary water conduit 12 consists of a tube preferably of circular cross section and it is disposed inside the flattened tubes such as 10 ′ which it crosses in the configuration of a pin or a coil so as to considerably increase the heat exchange surface, between the heating water which circulates in the flattened tubes 10 ′ and the sanitary water contained in the tube in pin configuration 12 ′, in its crossing of the flattened tube . As can be clearly seen in FIG. 1, each tube 10 ′ constituting a portion of the heating water circuit in its passage through the fin bundle 18, receives a portion in the pin configuration 12 ′ of the water conduit sanitary. The positioning of the tube section in the pin configuration 12 ′ in the flattened tube 10 ′ constituting the heating water conduit, is carried out so that there is no contact between the walls of the tubes 12 ′ and 10 ′. In addition, the section of the tube in the pin configuration 12 ′ is chosen so that the volume of water contained between the flattened tube 10 ′ and the pin or coil 12 ′ is as small as possible so that the water circulating in the sanitary circuit 12 takes all the calories from the heating water, without it being necessary to put the accelerator of the heating circuit into operation, the absence of contact between the walls of the tubes 10 ′ and 12 ′ preventing any boiling of the domestic water circulating in the tube 12 ′.

The ends of the flattened tubes 10 ′ are closed off according to the invention using end pieces 20 in the form of plates (FIGS. 3 and 4), which have an opening 22 for connecting the bent tubes 16 which provide the connection between two consecutive coils or pins 12 ′ and a second opening 24 for the connection of bent tubes 14 ensuring the connection between two flattened tubes 10 ′ consecutive. The end plates 20 are preferably brazed on the ends of the tubes 10 ′.

This comprises a series of openings such as 26, the shape of which corresponds to the cross section of the flattened tubes 10 ′, these fins being successively threaded on the network of tubes parallel 10 ′ on which they are brazed in a known manner (see FIG. 2).

In order to further improve the heat exchanges between the two fluids (heating water - sanitary water), during their crossing of the fin bundle 18, additional exchange surfaces 28 can be provided connecting the convolutions of the shaped tube to one another hairpin or serpentine 12 ′ incorporated in each flattened tube 10 ′.

La plaque 28 peut être éventuellement brasée sur le tube 12′.In the example illustrated by FIGS. 6 and 7, this additional exchange surface is in the form of a plate comprising partially cylindrical parts 30 which come to engage on the different portions of the tube 12 ′ wound in a pin, these parts 30 being connected by vertical flat parts 32. FIG. 7 shows the relative arrangement of the tube 12 ′ wound in a pin, provided with the plate 28, and the flattened tube 10 ′ in which the pin 12 ′ is arranged. The plate 28 can be optionally brazed on the tube 12 ′.

It can be seen that, thanks to the invention, a maximum exchange surface is obtained between the two conduits 10 ′ and 12 ′ and therefore perfect heat exchange between the heating water and domestic water circuits.

In the variant shown in Figures 8 to 11, the tube 12 ′ arranged in a pin or serpentine, is produced in a one-piece structure with the plate 28, the tube and plate assembly being stamped in the form of two half-shells 34 , 34 ′ which are connected by their joint plane 36, and secured by a welding process without filler metal, for example by pressure, ultrasound or others.

In the variant embodiment of the invention illustrated in FIG. 12, the tube 12 ′, arranged in a pin or in a serpentine, in which circulates the sanitary water, has a slightly curved configuration in its parts which are located in the vicinity of the walls of the tube 10 ′ in which the heating water circulates and this tube 12 ′ is provided with a plurality of rings 38 made of plastic material resistant to heat and humidity, for example silicone, these rings being threaded on the tube 12 ′ at regular intervals as shown in Figure 12. This particular arrangement has a double advantage: it allows first of all avoid contact of the tubes 12 ′ with the tube constituting the conduit 10 ′ in which the heating water circulates and on the other hand it eliminates the vibrations of hydraulic origin which occur in this type of installation when the sanitary water circulates in the coil according to which the domestic water pipe is configured.

Reading the above description shows that the invention provides a heating installation ensuring perfect heat exchange between the incorporated circuits of heating water and sanitary water, thanks to a large thermal contact surface obtained without physical contact of the circuits, by the relative arrangement of the two conduits, by the hairpin configuration of the sanitary water circulation conduit tube passing through the flattened tube of the heating water conduit, by the small volume of water contained between each flattened tube and the tube arranged in a pin that it contains and preferably thanks to the arrangement of plastic rings threaded on the tube constituting the sanitary water circuit which keep the latter away from the tube constituting the circuit heating water by eliminating all sources of hydraulic vibration.

Thanks to these original characteristics, in the event of prolonged non-circulation of water in one of the conduits (for example in the conduit of heating water during the summer period), its temperature cannot exceed that of l moving water, since a maximum amount of the calories collected by the non-circulating water is transmitted to the circulating water.

Furthermore, it is always possible to obtain the total power developed by the heater in one of the conduits when the circulation of water is stopped in the other conduit. Finally, the invention makes it possible, by circulating water in the two circuits, to distribute the total power of the appliance between the two circuits as a function of the desired hot water flow rates, while avoiding any boiling of the hot water. The invention also makes it possible to achieve a significant saving in material (brazing material) compared to known solutions using joined tubes.

It remains to be understood that the present invention is not limited to the embodiments described and shown above but that it encompasses all variants thereof.
