An antitheft device according to any of claims 1 and 3 to 8, for a binding comprising a jaw assembly in which a release lever biased towards its rest position is effective to act directly on the detent mechanism of the sole clamp at least during its being pivoted to its release position, characterized in that said locking component (100) in its locking state obstructs the path of movement of a part (141) of said release lever (104) carrying said stop member (102) acting as a counterstop, and disposed interiorly of the jaw assembly, so as to prevent its return from its release position, said release lever (104) preferably comprising an articulated joint (106) disposed interiorly of said jaw assembly and effective to permit the inner part (141) of said release lever (104) to be entrained by the outer part (114) thereof only in the direction towards its release position.
11. An antitheft device according to any of claims 1 and 3 to 8, comprising a sole clamp spring-biased towards its open position and provided with an engagement member adapted when said sole clamp is being pivoted to its release position to be brought into engagement with a detent member or counterstop, respectively, assuming its released position, so as to reset it to its operative position, characterized in that said engagement member is a projection (39) in the form of a spring, preferably a leaf spring, operatively associated to a projection (40) on the outer support arm (22).

An antitheft device according to any of claims 1, 6, 8, 10 or 11, characterized in that said locking member (411) of said locking component (100), advantageously formed by a pin adapted to be projected into the path of movement of a member coupled to said detent member or counterstop (102, 21), is connected to said electromagnetic device (405 to 408) preferably employed as its actuator, by a spring (412) acting to bias said pin (411) towards an end position determined by a stop member (410) adapted to be entrained by said actuator.
13. An antitheft device according to claim 12, characterized in that said stop member (410) is formed by a sleeve or bushing (410) supported in a slide member acting as said armature (408) of said electromagnetic device (405 to 408).
14. An antitheft device according to any of claims 1 to 6, characterized in that said locking member (411) is coupled to a display device having a display member disposed adjacent a viewing window (413) of said jaw assembly in one of the two stable positions of said locking component (100, 100′).
