Abstract
Bei einem Verfahren zur Optimierung der Laufeigenschaften synthetischer Garne bei Lufttexturierprozessen durch Benetzen der Garne mittels Auf spritzen von Brauchwasser während des Durchlaufens der Garne durch eine Texturierdüse, werden dem Brauchwasser Polyalkylenglycolverbindungen zugesetzt. Die Molekulargewichte der Polyalkylenglycolverbindungen be tragen zwischen 1000 und 6000 Masseineinheiten, vorzugsweise zwischen 2000 und 4000 Masseneinheiten. Die Endkonzentration der zugesetzten Polyalkylenglycolverbindungen liegt zwischen 2 und 6 Gewichsprozent, vorzugsweise zwischen 3 und 5 Gewichtsprozent. Bei einem auf diese Weise behandelten Brauchwasser läßt sich das unerwünschte Ablagern von Faser abrieb in der Düseneinheit vermeiden, und die Düsenstandzeit wird ver längert, die Prozeßgeschwindigkeit erhöht und der Brauchwasserbedarf ge senkt.
