Definitions
- the invention is based on an arrangement according to the type of the main claim.
- the arrangement according to the invention with the characterizing features of the main claim has the advantage that, depending on the design, a large number of display boards can be kept in detail without the entire arrangement being too extensive. Another advantage is that the arrangement is easy to manufacture and works reliably.
- the display boards can have different types of visual representations, but can also be suitable for displaying three-dimensional objects.
- devices are provided in a further development, which push a further display board located in the display plane into the storage area when a display board moves within the display level.
- the Trans port of the display boards within the display levels as well as a change of the display boards from one of the display levels to a storage area and vice versa.
- an advantageous embodiment of this development of the invention is that the display boards are bevelled on two opposite edges such that when one display board moves within the display plane, a slope of this display board slides over the slope of the other display board, which is also in the display plane, and the another display panel is pushed into the storage area. With this training it is achieved that the change of the display boards from the display levels to the storage areas takes place without further moving parts.
- racks are arranged on the display boards for transporting the display boards, which are in engagement with gears during transport, and that means are provided which engage the gears when the display boards move from the storage areas to the levels bring with the racks.
- the means are formed by turntables, the axes of which run essentially parallel to the planes of representation, that the turntables are each provided with at least one slot extending from the circumference, in which a gearwheel is arranged in such a way that one the rack arranged in the slot comes into engagement with the gear when entering the slot.
- rotatable rails with a cross-shaped cross section are provided for transporting the display boards into the levels or out of the levels and for guiding the display boards during movement within the levels.
- FIG. 1 is a view of a first embodiment
- FIG. 2 shows a first arrangement for transporting the display boards within a display level
- Fig. 3 shows another arrangement for tranmnsport
- FIG. 7 shows a detail from the embodiment shown in FIG. 6,
- Fig. 9 is a guide member of a display board
- Fig. 10 shows another example of an arrangement according to the invention in a schematic representation.
- Display boards are each provided with leaf springs 10 on their upper and lower edges 8, 9. With a sufficiently large number of display boards in the storage area 11, 12, the leaf springs are compressed. This will, on the one hand, transport the Display boards within the storage area before 11, 12 possible; on the other hand, when changing the display boards, a display board can be pushed into the storage area before a display board has left the storage area on the other side.
- Both one side and both sides of the display boards can be covered with posters, the posters on the two display boards located in the display plane preferably giving a picture.
- the arrangement according to the invention can be viewed from one or both of the directions indicated by arrows. Sehiene 13, 14, 15, 16 are provided for the movable mounting of the display boards.
- the display boards are exchanged with an arrangement shown in FIG. 2, one at the top and one at the bottom in the middle of the display planes of FIG.
- Arrangement according to Fig. 1 is provided.
- Fig. 2a) is a view in the direction of arrow A (Fig. 1), the roller 23 and partially the gear 26 are cut.
- Fig. 2b) is a section on the line B-B of Fig. 2a), but in a later phase of movement.
- the top view according to Fig. 2c) shows essentially the gear 26 and the roller 23 in two phases of movement.
- Each of the display boards is provided on the upper edge with a strip 20 which carries a rack 21, 22 on both sides and a roller at both ends, of which a roller 23 in FIG Display board 6 and a roller 24 of display board 1 are shown.
- the rollers roll on the rails 13 to 16 (FIG. 1), of which the rails 14, 15 are indicated in FIG. 2c).
- a gear wheel 26 driven by a shaft 25 is located in the same plane as the rails 14, 15.
- a further rail 19 forms a termination and guides the strips 20 or the display boards 1 to 6 in the display planes.
- the gear 26 has an eccentric 27 which projects over the surface as a function of the respective angular position of the gear 26.
- the bar 20 has projections 30, 31, which are beveled at their ends 32, 33, so that the respective driven display board 6 pushes the other display board 1 located in the display plane into the storage area anyway.
- Fig. 1 Within the storage areas 11, 12 (Fig. 1) are the. Plates of different storage areas are slightly apart so that the projections 30, 31 can slide past the shaft 25 of the gearwheel 26 when a display board is moved from the storage area into the display plane and vice versa.
- the roller 23 In order to bring the rack 22 with the gear 26 into engagement, the roller 23 is provided with a circumferential groove 34, in which the eccentric 27 of the gear 26 engages, so that the display panel 6 and thus the rack 22 within the illustration level is moved. After the gear 26 is engaged with the rack 22, the eccentric 27 emerges again from the circumferential groove 34.
- FIG. 3a) shows a further arrangement for transporting the display boards within a display plane, from the direction indicated by the arrow D in FIG. 1, while FIG. 2b) shows the same arrangement from another side.
- the display boards 41, 42, 43 etc. are each provided with a rack 51, 52, 53 etc. at their upper edge.
- a turntable 60 with four slots 61, 62, 63, 64 is rotatably mounted about an axis 65.
- gears 71, 72, 73, 74 each with a spur gear and a bevel gear. The latter engages in a bevel gear 75 mounted on the axis 65.
- the gears 71 to 74 are supported by pins inserted into corresponding bores of the turntable 60, of which only one pin 76 is shown.
- the bevel gear 75 is rotatably arranged on the axis 65, so that this serves the bevel gear 75 as a drive shaft. Further details of the drive, in particular the intermittent drive of the turntable 60, are not shown in the figure, since they can be carried out using the means available to the person skilled in the art.
- the display board 41 located at the time in question in the display plane protrudes into the slot 61 of the turntable 60, so that the rack 51 is in engagement with the gear 71.
- the screw 51 is moved in the direction of the arrow.
- the display board 41 leaves the slot 61 the display board 42 is pressed in the direction of the display plane by the force of the springs 10.
- the display board 42 can, however, only enter the display plane when the slot 62 has reached the upper edge of the display board 42 and receives it. Thereafter, the rack 52 comes into engagement with the gear 72 so that the display panel 42 is moved in the direction of the arrow. This process is repeated continuously.
- FIG. 4 is expanded by the following compared to the arrangement according to FIG. 1: springs 24, 25 are provided on each side of the display plane, which compress the plates in the display planes.
- Rails 13, 14, 15, 16 are provided for the movable mounting of the display boards, which engage in corresponding grooves 17 of the display boards.
- the display boards are each provided with two pins 18 on their upper and lower edges, which are used to transport the display boards.
- Deflection and driver elements 121, 120 are arranged on a chain 119 running in the direction of the arrow, the more precise function of which is explained in connection with FIG. 5.
- the revolving chain 119 is driven by means of a motor and a gear, which are not shown in the drawing, via one of the toothed wheels 122.
- a chain tensioner 123 is also provided.
- the display boards are now replaced by a deflecting element 121 pressing the display board 1 or 4 at the edge opposite the display board 3 or 6 into the storage area 11 or 12, while a driver element 120 pushes the display boards 3 and 6 in front slide boards 1 and 4.
- a driver element 120 pushes the display boards 3 and 6 in front slide boards 1 and 4.
- the other display boards previously located in the storage area take the place of display boards 3 and 6. After repeating this process, there are two new display boards in the display levels.
- Fig. 5 shows part of the arrangement of FIG. 4 enlarged.
- a U-rail 126 which guides the chain 119, Deiart shaped that the distance between the chain and the display board 6 or its pins is greater than the greatest width of the steering element 121. Only at pin 18 of the display board 1, the distance between the chain 119 and the display board is sufficiently small so that the steering element 121 presses the display board 1 into the storage area 11 and thus space for the meanwhile by the driving element
- the bevels 127, 128 of the display boards serve to further deflect the display board 1, which is only partially deflected by the steering element 121.
- the display boards can also be designed such that deflection of the display boards by means of the deflection elements 121 can be dispensed with.
- the driver element 120 is lifted over the pin 18 of the display panel 6, so that the display panel stops and the chain 119 can be moved further with the driver element 120.
- a part 130 is provided with a slope 131, on which an extension 132 of the driver element 120 impinges in such a way that the driver element 120 including the chain 119 is lifted up at this point.
- the part 130 is shown in broken lines to reveal the view of the steering element 121.
- the driver element and the deflection element can also be shaped such that a component with a slope depending on the direction of installation, both as a driver element and as a steering element can be used.
- two storage areas are provided before 201, 202, within which the display boards 203 are in the direction by suitable rails, of which only the rails 204, 205 are shown schematically in FIG. 6 the arrows 206, 207 are movably mounted.
- Three of the display boards are located in one of the levels 208, 209, where they together represent an image. It is up to the respective application of the arrangement according to the invention whether only one side of the display boards 203 is provided with corresponding representations, so that only one of the levels 208, 209 is used as the display level, or that the display boards are provided with displays on both sides, so that the arrangement according to the invention can be viewed from both sides.
- Devices 210, 211, 212, 213 are provided for transporting the display boards from one of the storage areas into the display position and vice versa, which are essentially the same as one another.
- the device 211 is therefore described below as representative of all devices.
- An essential part of the device 211 is a rail which extends over the entire length of the arrangement according to FIG. 6 and is composed of three partial rails 221, 222, 223.
- the middle partial rail 222 is fixedly connected to a frame 216 which supports the entire arrangement according to FIG. 6 and has the profile shown in cross section in FIG. 6a).
- a guide element 226 of a display board 203 engages in the downwardly open groove 225.
- the partial rails 221, 223, which adjoin the storage area before 201, 202, have the cruciform profile shown in FIG. 6b) and can be rotated about their longitudinal axis by means of suitable drive devices 227, 228.
- a guide element 226 of a display panel 203 can be guided in each of the angles formed by the spokes 229 of the cross-shaped profile.
- the display board 233 To display a new image, the display board 233 must first be moved from the display level to the storage area 202. For this purpose, the cross-shaped part rail 223 is turned clockwise by 90 °. To achieve a buffer effect within the storage areas 201, 202, which enables that the movements through the rails in the area of the display plane 208 on the one hand and the rails in the area of the display plane 209 on the other hand need not be exactly coordinated with one another, the display boards are 203 in an edge area provided with spring elements 234, 235, shown schematically in FIG. 6b).
- the display board 233 is pushed into the storage area 202 by the above-mentioned rotation of the partial rail 223. Thereupon, the display boards 231 and 232 are moved within the display plane 209 by the transport devices explained later in such a way that the display board 232 reaches the position which the display board 233 previously occupied and that the display board 231 reaches the middle position.
- a further display panel 203 is brought out of the storage area 201 by rotating the partial rail 221 and a corresponding lower partial rail into the level of the display. Then the display board 232 is moved into the storage area 202 by rotating the partial rail 223. This process is repeated until the boards 233, 232, 231 are in the storage area 202 and new boards are in the display level 209. A corresponding number of display boards 203 are brought simultaneously from the display level 208 into the storage area 201 and from the storage area 202 into the display level 208.
- FIG. 7 shows in a somewhat more detailed representation a section of the arrangement according to FIG. 6, in which a rail 204 guides the display boards 203 located in a storage area.
- the guide elements 226 of the display boards 203 have corresponding cutouts 241. Of those located in a storage area
- spindles are arranged in the longitudinal axes of the rails 210, 211, 212, 213 (FIG. 6), which are driven independently of the rotation of the rotatable partial rails.
- the upper part of the guide element 226, which is provided with a toothing 243 reaches the area of the spindle 242 and is thus displaced within the display 209.
- the drive of the spindle 242 can be switched off or the coupling between the spindle 242 and the toothing 243 can be canceled by a corresponding guidance of the guide element 226 with a movement against the spring force.
- FIG. 8 shows a part of the rotatable rail 221 and the spindle 242, while FIG. 9 shows a guide element 226, the toothing 243 of which is adapted to the thread of the spindle 242.
- FIG. 9 shows a guide element 226, the toothing 243 of which is adapted to the thread of the spindle 242.
- the end of the rotatable rail 221, not shown, is mounted in the partial rail 222.
- a drive 245, 246 and an electric motor 247, 248 are indicated in FIG. 8 as drive devices for the rail 221 and the spindle 242.
- FIG. 10 which represents an arrangement corresponding to the arrangement according to FIG. 6, a further example for driving the display boards within the display levels is to be explained.
- a revolving element 251 for example a chain or a toothed belt, is provided, which is guided over two schematically represented wheels 252, 253, one of which is driven by means of a motor 254 and a transmission 255.
- a driver 256 is fastened to the circumferential element 251 and abuts the edge of the display board 203 located in the region of the partial rail 221 and moves it to the right. If the display board 203 reaches its intended position, the driver 256 is replaced by a suitable one
- Both the drive device with the aid of a spindle and the drive device explained in connection with FIG. 10 can be provided in the area of one rail in each of the display levels 208, 209 or in the area of both rails, which results from the requirements and size relationships in detail.
- the display boards located in the storage areas 201, 202 are pushed further by the display boards which are respectively introduced into the storage areas.
- this presupposes that there is a certain minimum number of display boards in the arrangement.
- the length of the storage areas can be made variable.
- the rails 204, 205 can be designed telescopically, for example.
- the illustrations show the arrangement according to the invention in such a way that the display boards are moved horizontally in the illustration plane.
- the arrangement according to the invention can also be placed upright, so that the display boards are displaced vertically in the plane of the illustration.
