Abstract

In known machines for manufacturing folding containers, in particular folding boxes, with an application mechanism (3) for adhesive, a folding station (4) and a pressing station (6) with pressing elements for connecting the pasted seams under pressure, the problem arises that, in the event of machine stoppage, on the containers which are situated between the application mechanism (3) and the beginning of the pressing elements of the pressing station (6), the glue which has already been applied dries during the standstill period. <??>According to the invention, to remove the containers which have already been provided with adhesive and are still unpressed, there is arranged after the pressing station (6) a marking or ejecting device (9). In the event of a machine stoppage, a calculating and control device (10) calculates computationally the number of containers located between application mechanism (3) and the beginning of the pressing elements of the pressing station (6) and, after restarting of the machine, controls the marking or ejecting device (9). <IMAGE>
