Claims (5)

1. Verfahren zum Verpacken von Nahrungsmitteln (P) oder anderen Produkten in einer Schaupackung (8), die eine geringere Höhe als das Produkt aufweist und über die sich ein Film aus thermoplastischem Kunststoff erstreckt, der mit den Rändern der Schaupackung verschweißt ist, gekennzeichnet durch die folgenden nacheinander durchzuführenden Verfahrensschritte:
- vor dem Aufschweißen des Films im Innern eines dichten Vakuumgehäuses (1-2) wird der Bereich (4) des Films (3), der sich im Innern des Vakuumgehäuses befindet, aufgeheizt, während die zu schließende Schaupackung (8) und ihr Inhalt (P) unter den Film gebracht werden,
- dann wird die Schaupackung (8) relativ zum Film in eine solche Stellung aufgehoben, daß ihr Inhalt (P) in den entsprechenden Bereich (4) des Films in der Weise eindringt, daß der überstehende Teil des Produktes komplett umschlossen wird,
- nach dem Aufschweißen des Films (3) unter Vakuum auf den umlaufenden Rand (13) der betreffenden Schaupackung wird der Unterdruck weggenommen, so daß sich der betreffende Teil (21) des Films eng an den überstehenden Teil des Produkts anlegt.
2. Vorrichtung zur Durchführung des Verfahrens zum Verpacken nach Anspruch 1 im Innern eines Vakuumgehäuses, welches zum Schweißen dient und aus zwei beweglichen einander zugekehrten Hauben (1, 2) besteht, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Vorrichtung folgende Teile aufweist:
- eine obere Haube (2) des Vakuumgehäuses zum Schweißen, die eine bewegliche Platte (19) zum Aufheizen des Bereichs (4) des Films (3), der sich im Innern des Vakuumgehäuses befindet, umschließt,
- eine Stützplatte (7), die in vertikaler Richtung zwischen einer unteren Position entsprechend dem Eingangsniveau jeder Schaupackung (8), in welchem sie sich samt ihrem Inhalt unter dem Film (3) befindet, und einer oberen Position entsprechend dem Schweißvorgang, bei dem der Rand (13) der Schaupackung sich auf dem Niveau des Films befindet, beweglich angeordnet ist, während das Produkt (P) darüberhinaus vorsteht,
- Steuereinrichtungen und Mitnahmeeinrichtungen für die verschiedenen Teile, wobei die Einrichtungen so ausgebildet sind, daß sie nacheinander die folgenden Funktionen erfüllen können:
. Schließen des Vakuumgehäuses zum Schweißen und Abwärtsbewegen der Platte (19) zum Aufheizen des Films,
. Wiederanheben der Platte zum Aufheizen, verbunden mit einem Anheben der Stützplatte (7) in die Schweißstellung,
. Öffnen des Vakuumgehäuses zum Schweißen und Entlüften der geschlossenen Schaupackung.
3. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die untere Haube (1) des Vakuumgehäuses zum Schweißen einen Trog (14) mit einer geringeren Höhe als das Produkt aufweist, der vertikal beweglich angeordnet ist und dessen oberer Rand als Auflager für den Rand jeder Schaupackung (8) während des Schweißvorgangs dient.
4. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 2 oder 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß an der Auslaßseite für die Schaupackungen (8) eine Gleitplatte (12) vorgesehen ist, die auf dem Niveau der oberen Stellung der Stützplatte (7) während des Schweißvorgangs angeordnet ist.
