Abstract

Eine flache Bildwiedergabevorrichtung weist eine Kathode (7) aus einer periodischen Anordnung von oxidbeschichteten Heizdrähten auf. Zur Erhöhung des entnehmbaren Elektronenstromes aus der Kathode besteht die Atmosphäre im Kathodenraum aus einem inerten Gas. Der Druck beträgt etwa 0,01 bis 1 Millibar.
