In the front foot area of the lower part of the punch, the guide channel 38 has a straight course and in the rear area opens into a curved section 42 which, in the case of FIG. 1, forms a full circle and in the case of FIG. 5 a part-circular deflection leading into an upper straight section 44 . In the embodiment shown in FIG. 5, the measuring bar 40 additionally serves as a closing member of the opening 46 of the chip chamber 12 pointing upward.

Aus den Fig. 6a und b ist zu erkennen, daß die Meßleiste 40 aus einem in Querrichtung gewölbten Band 48 aus Federbandstahl besteht, wie es beispielsweise auch für Rollmaßstäbe eingesetzt wird. Am einen Ende ist ein um die Achse 50 in zwei Endstellungen verschwenkbares Winkelstück 52 mit einem Anschlag 54 an der Meßleiste 40 angelenkt, während am anderen Ende ein Anschlagbolzen 56 angenietet ist. Der Führungskanal 38,42,44 dient nur zur Aufbewahrung der Meßleiste 40 bei Nichtgebrauch. Beim Gebrauch wird die Meßleiste 40 aus dem Führungskanal 38 entnommen und durch den querverlaufenden Durchbruch 58 des Locherunterteils 15 hindurchgesteckt. Auf der Meßleiste 40 ist eine Formatskala aufgedruckt, die zusammen mit dem Anschlag 54 ein formatgenaues Lochen von Schriftgut ermöglicht. Claims (18)

1. Single-hole paper punch with a bottom section (15) including a punch-die guide (34) and a template (28) and provided with an insert slot (10) and a waste receptacle (12), and with a pressure lever (22) which is hinged onto the bottom section and acting on a punch die (14) which is under the influence of a return spring (20), characterised in that the bottom section (15) consists of two half dishes (15', 15"), which are substantially mirror-symmetrical relative to a vertical separating level (24) and joined in the region of the separating level (24), the walls of which define the waste receptacle.
2. Paper punch according to claim 1, characterised in that one each slotted recess (10', 10") is arranged in the half dishes (15' 15"), combined forming a broader slot into which is inserted a substantially U-shaped bent metallic insert member (36) which houses the punch-die guide (34) and the template (28).
3. Paper punch according to claim 2, characterised in that indents are arranged in slot recesses (10', 10") to sealingly accommodate the insert member (36).
4. Paper punch according to claim 2 or 3, characterised in that channel halves, which combine to form a waste channel (26) terminating in the waste receptacle (12), are formed into the half dishes (15', 15") underneath the slot recess (10', 10").
5. Paper punch according to one of the claims 1 to 4, characterised in that the waste receptacle (12) in- dudes an upwards facing opening (46), preferable covered by pressure lever (22).
6. Paper punch according to one of the claims 1 to 5, characterised in that pressure lever (22) can be arrested against the bottom section (15) whilst in its downward position.
7. Paper punch according to claim 5 or 6, characterised in that a closing element, preferably an elastic strip (70) of foam material or foam rubber, which closes the waste -receptacle opening (46) whilst in its arresting position, is arranged at the pressure lever (22).
8. Paper punch according to one of the claims 1 to 7, characterised by open-edged channel recesses (38', 38") being arranged on the half dishes (15', 15"), which recesses face one another and combine to form a guide channel (38, 42, 44) to accomodate a measuring strip (40).
9. Paper punch according to claim 8, characterised in that the measuring strip (40) is made of an elastic, bendable tape material (48), preferably of spring-band steel, and that the channel recesses (38, 38"), which form the guide channel, have a straight section (38) in the foot region of the bottom section (15), and a bent section (42) leading to the top in the rearward region of bottom section (15).
10. Paper punch according to claim 9, characterised in that the opening (46) of the waste receptacle (12) is closable by way of the measuring strip (4) when pushed into the guide channel (38, 42, 44) to its end position.
11. Paper punch according to one of the claims 1 to 10, characterised in that the half dishes (15', 15") are provided in the region underneath the slot recess (10', 10") with each of slot opening which combine to form a continuous passage (58) for insertion of the measuring strip (40) including its stop (54, 56).
12. Paper punch according to one of the claims 1 to 11, characterised in that the pressure lever (22) has lateral bends (60) which partially reach over the lateral surfaces of the bottom section (15), and that in said blends (60) near the free lever end is arranged at least one recess (64, 66) for arresting the pressure lever (22) in its downwards end position against an arresting element (68), arranged in the bottom section (15).
13. Paper punch according to one of the claims 1 to 12, characterised in that the half dishes (15', 15") are injection-moulded parts of synthetics material.
14. Paper punch according to one of the claims 1 to 12, characterised in that the half dishes (15', 15") are aluminium die-cast parts.
15. Paper punch according to one of the claims 1 to 13, characterised in that the guide channel (42) forms a winding-up cylinder for the measuring strip (40) in the rearward region of the bottom section.
16. Paper punch according to one of the claims 1 to 15, characterised in that one each half-cylindrical recess is arranged in the half dishes (15', 15") which combine to an upwardly open cylinder housing (30), covered by the pressure lever (22) and accommodating the spring (20) and the punch die (14).
17. Paper punch characterised by several single-hole paper punches, interconnectable by means of several spacer elements according to one of the claims 1 to 16.
18. Paper punch according to claim 17, characterised in that at least in one of the two half dishes of the punch bottom section (15) is arranged each at least one bore or opening to accomodate one spacer rod, forming the spacer support.
