Description

The present invention relates to a device for carrying skis according to the preamble of claim 1. Such a device is known from FR-A-2 305 210, the basket for receiving the ski ends consisting of a loop of the shoulder strap and a frame connected to it . This carrying device is impractical to use. It is difficult to insert the ski ends into the loop at the bottom of the shoulder strap. Above all, it is difficult to supply the shoulder strap in the basket and thereby form a compact, small package.

A similar carrying device is known from CH-A-405 132. It has a basket connected to the shoulder strap by means of a loop for receiving the ski ends. It is not intended to supply the entire shoulder strap in this basket.

In another device according to CH-A-265 068, the shoulder strap is provided in the basket, but the shoulder strap engages on a broad side of the basket, which makes supply difficult.

The aim of the present invention is to provide a carrier device for skis which offers optimal conditions for use and handling with a simple structure. This goal is achieved by the shoulder strap engaging on a narrow side of the basket or the bag. This enables the shoulder strap to be rolled up and rolled into the basket. Preferably, the shoulder strap forms two narrow sides and the bottom of the basket or bag and is connected to wall parts made of the same material on the broad sides.

To ensure that the skis are optimally held and that the shoulder strap rolls comfortably into the basket achieve, the loop is preferably articulated to the shoulder strap. Under these circumstances, it can be optimally adjusted to hold the skis, but can also be aligned with the shoulder strap to roll the shoulder strap in and thus rolled comfortably.

The design according to the invention has the additional advantage that the skis are held with the edges on the back of the wearer in such a way that the ski bindings do not interfere and the skis can also be comfortably worn with the ski boots strapped on.

The invention will now be explained in more detail with reference to an embodiment shown in the drawing.
  • 1 shows the device connected to a pair of skis,
  • 2 and 3 show on a larger scale the connection of the device with the skis,
  • Fig. 4 shows the device with rolled up and supplied shoulder strap ready for transport, and
  • Fig. 5 shows the connection of the shoulder strap to the loop.

As can be seen in FIG. 1, the device for carrying the skis has a shoulder strap 1, which at one end has a pocket or a basket 2 for receiving the rear ski ends and at the other end a loop 3 for connection to the skis 4 in the middle part the same, is provided slightly above the front part of the ski binding 5. As shown in Figure 1, the skis can be carried comfortably like a rifle attached, the wearer having both hands free to carry additional material, and in particular other people not be bothered or endangered. The shoulder strap is formed in two parts, and the two parts are connected to one another by a flat buckle 6 such that the total length of the shoulder strap can be adapted to the size of the person or the length of the skis. As FIG. 5 in particular shows, the loop 3 is connected to the shoulder strap 1 by means of a rivet 7, which is also provided as a button 7a for hanging in the free end of the loop provided with a buttonhole 8. The rivet 7 is dimensioned such that the loop 3 can rotate with respect to the shoulder strap 1 and can thus freely adjust its position. The loop 3 is provided with an adhesive coating 9, for example a latex coating to increase the hold on the skis 4.

Figure 3 shows the bag or basket 2 of the device. The shoulder strap 1 here forms two opposite narrow sides 2a and 2b of the basket and the bottom 2c of the same. The upper end of the basket forms a rectangular ring 10 made of the same material as the shoulder strap 1, and on the flat sides a U-shaped bracket 11 is also made of the same material as the shoulder strap 1. All these parts of the basket are connected to one another by means of rivets 12, and the rivet located at the bottom of the basket can be enlarged in order to serve as protection when the skis are parked with the device.

As already mentioned, the handling of the device is extremely simple. To connect the skis, place them with their rear ends in the basket 2 and then put the loop 3 over the binding around the skis. This means that the skis are not only ready to be carried but are also connected to one another, and can then be picked up and carried comfortably according to FIG. 1. With the upper arm you can press lightly against the surface of the skis in order to use them in the position shown Keep side-facing ties. So there is no danger that the binding presses against the body and thus hinders carrying. When the carrying device is not in use, it can be detached from the skis in an equally simple manner. The opened loop and the shoulder strap can then be rolled up and finally fed into the basket 2 according to FIG. 4. The result is a flat, soft and orderly package that can easily be stored in a pocket of the ski suit.

Different versions are possible. For example, the loop 3 could be formed in one piece with the shoulder strap 1, in which case the rivet 7 would no longer have the function of a connecting element but only that of a button for connection to the end of the loop. Instead of the basket 2 formed from the same material as the shoulder strap, a bag, for example made of soft plastic, could be connected to the shoulder strap. The device can be used for different types of skis, e.g. also be dimensioned for cross-country or jump skis.
