Man darf ja nicht verkennen, daß der Hebel bei Benutzung des Brettes ständigen Hin- und Herbewegungen größeren und kleineren Ausmaßes unterworfen ist. Schließlich wird das Lager bei Verwendung eines einfachen Zapfenlargers, woran primär gedacht sein dürfte, zu Geräuschen Anlaß geben. Vor allen Dingen aber ist die bekannte Konstruktion nur bei einem kurzen, biegsamen Heck möglich: Bei Verlängerung des Hecks würden die Kräfte, die die Feder aufzunehmen hätte, entsprechend größer werden. Claims (21)

1. A surfboard, the aft region of which terminating in a in the vertical direction narrow flexible tongue which is effected in its elasticity by an elastic device and has an elastic covering material on top, whereby the elastic device consists of two vertical supports (2;20;23 resp. 3;15) arranged in succession in the longitudinal direction of the surfboard above the tongue (1), the forward one (2;20;23) of said supports is largely inflexible against the tongue (1) and the rear one (3;15) of said supports extends from the tongue (1), a connection between the supports (2;20;23 resp. 3;15) and an elastic element, characterized in that the rear support (3;15) is inflexible against the tongue (1), that the forward support (2;20;23) leaves the surfboard from the tongue (1) or in front of said tongue and that the elastic element is arranged in form of a stringer (4), which is intrinsically elastic or is mounted elastically, between the supports (22,3;20,15;23).
2. A surfboard according to claim 1, characterized in that the space above the tongue (1) is filled with highly elastic material (6).
3. A surfboard according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the elastic mounting (5;16;25) of the stringer (4) on the supports is adjustable.
4. A surfboard according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that a spring part ( 5;16;25) is arranged in the longitudinal direction of the stringer (4) in front of said stringer at the forward support (2;20;23).
5. A surfboard according to claim 3 or 4, characterized in that a spring part (5;16;25) is an elastic body which is deformable by means of a tension screw (13;26).
6. A surfboard according to claim 5, characterized in that the body (5) has a tension screw (13) passing through it and in the non-loaded state is convex on both sides in the direction of compression.
7. A surfboard according to claim 5, characterized in that the body (25), in the non-loaded state, corresponds to a curved cuboid and, when deformed by means of the tension scew (26), approximates to the non-curved cuboid form.
8. A surfboard according to one of claims 1 to 7, characterized in that the stringer (4) has a vertical distance from the tongue (1).
9. A surfboard according to one of claims 1 to 8, characterized in that the forward support (20;23) is incorporated in the board part located in front of the tongue (1).
10. A surfboard according to one of claims 1 to 9, characterized in that underneath the stringer (4) there are plinths (17) which are fixed to the tongue or fixed to the stringer and which end at a short distance from the stringer or the tongue (1).
11. A surfboard according to one of claims 1 to 10, characterized in that there are springs (18) between the tongue (1) and the stringer (4), which springs are preferably adjustable in relation to their spring characteristic.
12. A surfboard according to claim 11, characterized in that one of the springs (18) is a helical spring which at the bottom is supported on the tongue (1) and at the top is fastened to the stringer (4) preferably by means of a screw, with which the distance between spring (18) and stringer (4) can be varied.
13. A surfboard according to claim 2, characterized in that the highly elastic material (6) is foam, at least the outer pores of which are closed.
14. A surfboard according to one of claims 1 to 13, characterized in that two supported stringers (4) are provided next to one another in the transverse direction of the surfboard.
15. A surfboard according to claim 14, characterized in that at least one cross-strut (19) is located between the two stringers (4).
16. A surfboard according to one of claims 1 to 15, characterized in that, when an old aft has been removed from a surfboard of conventional design, a new aft is attached to the remaining part of the latter (Figures 6 and 7).
17. A surfboard according to claim 16, characterized in that the new aft constitutes a construction kit, the parts of which are assembled completely or partially before attachment to the remaining part of the board.
18. A surfboard according to claim 16, characterized in that the tongue (1) of the new aft projects forwards relative to the remaining part of the new aft, that this projecting part is fastened to the remaining part of the old surfboard, preferably by means of dowels (22), and that a bracket (23), to which a stringer (4) is fastened, is attached to the remaining part of the old surfboard at the rear and at the top.
19. A surfboard according to one of claims 16 to 18, characterized in that the rear surface regions of the remaining part of the old surfboard are covered with a layer (24) of high-strength plastic.
20. A surfboard according to claim 15, characterized in that a foot loop (8) is fastened to the cross-strut (19).
21. A surfboard according to claim 15, characterized in that the connections of the supports with the stringers (4) are so loose that bending and twisting of the tongue (1) are possible within specific limits.
