Abstract

Dans un appareil et procédé d'hydrothérapie, une personne est soutenue par flottaison dans une position de décubitus ventrale sur la membrane d'un matelas (40) d'un lit à eau contenant de l'eau chauffée (48). Une pompe à eau (43) remet en circulation l'eau (48), laquelle est aspirée hors du matelas (40) par des orifices de sortie (47) et par une tuyauterie associée (42), puis es t réintroduite par des orifices d'entrée (44) et par une tuyauterie associée (45), formant ainsi un réseau de jets d'eau (78). De l'air (74) est introduit par une soupape (41) dans la tuyauterie d'eau (42) côté retour de la pompe (43) ou au moyen d'une pompe à air séparée (54) reliée à des orifices d'entrée d'air (62) conduisant dans le matelas. Sont également décrits un distributeur (46) destiné à être inséré dans le matelas (40) pour le mélange de l'air (79) et de l'eau (48) et un ensemble base et bâti (52) destiné à cacher la plomberie et la tuyauterie de remise en circulation de l'air.

Claims (19)

  1. Procédé pour communiquer les aspects agréables de l'hydromassage à un utilisateur à des fins de repos et de relaxation, comprenant les étapes suivantes : soutien de toute une personne sur une membrane supérieure d'une enceinte contenant une couche d'eau chauffée de profondeur fixe suffisante pour soutenir toute la personne de manière flottante, évacuation de l'eau chauffée hors de l'enceinte, introduction de l'eau chauffée sous pression à l'intérieur de l'enceinte pour développer des jets d'eau qui sont écartés latéralement les uns des autres et qui sont dirigés vers le haut pour frapper le côté inférieur de la membrane supérieure sur laquelle la personne est soutenue pour produire des effets de massage par pression de jets sur une multiplicité de zones de la personne, caractérisé par les étapes consistant à introduire l'eau chauffée sous forme d'une série de jets d'eau distants latéralement dans ou en position adjacente au fond de la couche d'eau chauffée dans l'enceinte et à communiquer une pression suffisante à l'eau chauffée retirée de l'enceinte pour entraîner les jets d'eau vers le haut à travers la profondeur fixe de la couche d'eau chauffée pour frapper le côté inférieur de la membrane supérieure pour produire un effet d'ondulation sur la personne située sur celle-ci.
  2. Procédé selon la revendication 1, caractérisé par les étapes consistant à diviser l'un des jets d'eau en courants plus petits, à écarter latéralement les uns des autres les courants plus petits, à diriger les courants plus petits vers le haut en direction du côté inférieur de la membrane supérieure et à communiquer une pression suffisante aux jets d'eau pour amener les courants plus petits à traverser la profondeur fixe de la couche d'eau pour atteindre une multiplicité de zones de la membrane qui sont conçues pour soutenir les épaules, le dos et les jambes de la personne.
  3. Procédé selon la revendication 2, dans lequel l'enceinte a un fond, une extrémité de tête et une extrémité de pied, caractérisé par l'étape consistant à faire circuler l'eau chauffée dans une direction le long du corps de la personne et transversalement aux courants d'air plus petits, dans lequel l'eau chauffée est amenée à circuler depuis une entrée d'eau située dans le fond et en direction de l'extrémité de tête de l'enceinte jusqu'à une sortie d'eau située dans le fond et en direction de l'extrémité de pied de l'enceinte.
  4. Procédé selon la revendication 1, 2 ou 3, caractérisé par l'étape consistant à introduire de l'air dans l'eau retirée de l'enceinte pour aspirer les jets qui sont introduits à l'intérieur de l'enceinte afin qu'ils frappent le côté inférieur de la membrane supérieure.
  5. Procédé selon la revendication 4, caractérisé par l'étape consistant à maintenir une quantité présélectionnée de pression d'air à l'intérieur de l'enceinte par évacuation de l'air en excès accumulé dans celle-ci à partir des jets d'eau aspirés.
  6. Procédé selon la revendication 5, caractérisé par l'étape consistant à recirculer l'air en excès évacué de l'enceinte par une pompe à air branchée de manière à introduire l'air dans l'intérieur de l'enceinte.
  7. Procédé selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé par l'étape consistant à introduire de l'air à l'intérieur de l'enceinte sous forme d'un courant d'air d'alimentation qui est séparé des jets d'eau, et comprenant en outre l'étape consistant à distribuer le courant d'air d'alimentation sous forme de courants d'air plus petits qui sont écartés latéralement les uns des autres et qui sont dirigés vers le haut et sensiblement parallèlement aux jets d'eau pour former une couche d'eau aspirée le long du côté inférieur de la membrane supérieure.
  8. Lit d'eau pour faire circuler des courants d'eau chauffée sous pression pour masser une personne soutenue sur celui-ci, le lit d'eau comprenant une enceinte (4) comportant une membrane supérieure en matériau imperméable à l'eau pour soutenir la personne de manière flottante sur un volume d'eau qui s'étend au moins sur la longueur et la largeur de la personne, une base (2) pour soutenir l'enceinte (4) en position relevée, un certain nombre de dispositifs d'entrée d'eau (31) et au moins une sortie d'eau (32) soutenus par ladite base (2) en position relevée, les dispositifs d'entrée d'eau (31) étant agencés pour diriger des courants d'eau chauffée sous pression vers le haut en direction du côté inférieur de la membrane supérieure et la sortie d'eau (32) pouvant fonctionner de manière à transporter l'eau chauffée hors de l'enceinte (4), une pompe à eau (11) en communication par fluide avec la sortie d'eau (32) pour retirer l'eau de l'enceinte (4) et en communication par fluide avec les dispositifs d'entrée d'eau (31) pour développer des courants d'eau chauffée en jets pour frapper le côté inférieur de la membrane supérieure, caractérisé par une plaque de retenue (8) en matériau imperméable à l'eau placée entre la base (2) et l'enceinte (4), lesdits dispositifs d'entrée d'eau comprenant un certain nombre d'entrées d'eau (31) fixées de manière étanche à ladite plaque de retenue (8) et agencées pour déboucher à l'intérieur de l'enceinte (4) par des ouvertures respectives dans la membrane inférieure de celle-ci, ladite pompe à eau comprenant une pompe unique (11) conçue pour communiquer une pression suffisante aux courants d'eau chauffée qui pénètrent dans l'enceinte (4) par les entrées d'eau (31) pour entraîner les courants depuis la membrane inférieure de ladite enceinte (4) vers le haut à travers l'eau qui s'y trouve pour frapper le côté inférieur de la membrane supérieure.
  9. Lit d'eau selon la revendication 8, caractérisé en ce que la plaque de retenue comprend un couvercle (12) en matériau non poreux imperméable à l'eau qui entoure les parties extérieures exposées de la base (2).
  10. Lit d'eau selon la revendication 9, caractérisé en ce que le couvercle est constitué par un métal tel que l'acier inoxydable.
  11. Lit d'eau selon la revendication 8, 9 ou 10, caractérisé en ce que la pompe (11) est reliée aux dispositifs d'entrée (31) et à la sortie (32) par une tuyauterie qui pend de la plaque de retenue (8) et qui est aussi soutenue par la base (2).
  12. Lit d'eau selon l'une quelconque des revendications 8 à 11, caractérisé par un dispositif d'entrée d'air (41) couplé à la tuyauterie qui transporte l'eau à la pompe à eau (43) pour la recirculation, pour permettre à l'air d'être entraîné dans la pompe à eau (43), et dans lequel la pompe à eau (43) est capable de fonctionner pour produire une alimentation d'eau mélangée à de l'air pour les entrées d'eau (44) de sorte que des jets d'eau aspirée sont dirigés vers le haut en direction du côté inférieur de l'enceinte (4).
  13. Lit d'eau selon la revendication 12, caractérisé en ce qu'une partie (50, 51) de la base (2) s'étend au-dessus et surplombe la membrane supérieure, ledit lit d'eau comprenant un dispositif de purge d'air (49) ancré à la base (2), couplé à un pli de la membrane supérieure qui s'étend au-dessus de l'eau et qui débouche à l'intérieur de l'enceinte pour en évacuer l'air.
  14. Lit d'eau selon la revendication 13, caractérisé en ce que le pli de la membrane supérieure est un pli parmi une multiplicité de plis destinés à permettre à l'air d'être reçu est recueilli dans l'enceinte (4) au-dessus de l'eau et sous une personne soutenue sur la membrane supérieure, la partie en surplomb de la base (2) comprenant une tête (50) formant une poche ouvrant vers le bas dans laquelle un pli de la membrane supérieure est reçu, la poche étant dissimulée à la vue derrière une partie pendante de la tête (50), une pompe à air (54) étant disposée à l'intérieur de la base (2) et étant reliée par une entrée (62) à l'intérieur de l'enceinte (4) pour y introduire de l'air sous pression, et un dispositif de purge d'air (49) étant disposé dans la tête (50) de la base (2) et s'étendant dans la poche formée par celle-ci, le dispositif de purge d'air (49) étant couplé à l'enceinte (4) et débouchant à l'intérieur de l'enceinte (4) pour en évacuer l'air.
  15. Lit d'eau selon la revendication 14, caractérisé par un dispositif (56) qui relie le dispositif de purge d'air (49) à la pompe à air (54) pour permettre la recirculation de l'air qui est évacué de l'enceinte (4).
  16. Lit d'eau selon l'une quelconque des revendications 8 à 15, caractérisé par des entrées d'air (62) débouchant à l'intérieur de l'enceinte (4) et destinées à diriger des courants d'air sous pression vers le haut en direction du côté inférieur de la membrane supérieure, et par une pompe à air (54) disposée dans la base (2) et branchée de manière à fournir de l'air sous pression aux entrées d'air (62).
  17. Lit d'eau selon l'une quelconque des revendications 8 à 16, caractérisé par un ensemble distributeur (46) conçu pour être disposé dans l'enceinte (4) et pour être relié à la tuyauterie d'entrée d'eau, à la tuyauterie de sortie d'eau et à la tuyauterie d'entrée d'air pour fournir dans ladite enceinte (4) un corps d'eau aspiré, ledit ensemble distributeur (46) comprenant deux côtés opposés tournés chacun dans un sens opposé à l'autre, deux ouvertures d'entrée (44) pour l'eau, formées dans un premier des côtés et destinées à être reliées à la tuyauterie d'entrée d'eau, une ouverture d'entrée (62) pour l'air, formée dans le premier des côtés et destinée à être reliée à la tuyauterie d'entrée d'air, une ouverture de sortie (47) pour l'eau, formée dans le premier des côtés et destinée à être reliée à la tuyauterie de sortie d'eau pour transporter l'eau hors de l'intérieur de l'enceinte (4) lorsque l'ensemble distributeur (46) est disposé dans celle-ci, une multiplicité d'ouvertures de sortie (76) pour l'eau, formées dans un second des côtés, la multiplicité d'ouvertures de sortie (76) pour l'eau étant relativement plus petites et plus nombreuses que les deux ouvertures d'entrée (44) pour l'eau, pour diviser les courants d'apport d'eau en courants plus petits, une multiplicité d'ouvertures de sortie (77) pour l'air, formées dans le second des côtés, la multiplicité des ouvertures de sortie (77) pour l'air étant relativement plus petites que l'ouverture d'entrée (62) pour l'air, pour diviser un courant d'apport d'air en courants plus petits, ledit ensemble (46) ayant une première chambre (74) en communication avec les deux ouvertures d'entrée (44) et avec la multiplicité d'ouvertures de sortie (76) pour transporter l'eau entre elles, une seconde chambre (72) en communication avec l'ouverture d'entrée d'air (62) et avec la multiplicité d'ouvertures de sortie (77) pour l'air, pour transporter l'air entre elles, et un compartiment ouvert (71) autour de l'ouverture de sortie d'eau (47) dans le premier des côtés pour protéger les courants d'air et d'eau contre les effets du soutirage d'eau par l'ouverture de sortie d'eau (47) dans le premier des côtés.
  18. Lit d'eau selon la revendication 17, caractérisé en ce que ladite seconde chambre (72) est rectangulaire et dans lequel ladite première chambre (74) est formée de manière à entourer ladite seconde chambre (72).
  19. Lit d'eau selon la revendication 17 ou 18, caractérisé en ce que l'ensemble distributeur comprend des côtés supérieur et inférieur et des parois latérales extérieures qui relient les côtés supérieur et inférieur à deux des parois latérales extérieures opposées l'une à l'autre, un diviseur bouclé (73) qui s'étend entre les côtés supérieur et inférieur et qui est disposé à l'intérieur des parois latérales pour définir les première et seconde chambres (72, 74) à l'intérieur de l'ensemble distributeur (46), un diviseur transversal (75) distant du diviseur bouclé (73), qui s'étend entre les côtés supérieur et inférieur et qui relie les deux parois latérales opposées pour entourer l'une des chambres (74) et pour former le compartiment ouvert (71) en direction d'une extrémité de l'ensemble distributeur (46).
