Definitions

  • the invention relates to a device for connecting the under-shower of a hygienic toilet seat to the water supply network, which is connected to the drinking water network, in particular the water inlet to the flushing tank of the toilet, by means of a branch piece and which is arranged on one side between the branch piece and the under-shower, blocking valve and has a further valve arranged in front of this.
  • hygiene toilet seats In addition to normal toilet seats, so-called hygiene toilet seats have recently become known and are available on the market, which are provided with an under-shower for the discharge of cleaning water and with a blower for generating drying air.
  • the under shower can be adjusted twice for thorough cleaning in order to be used in one position in the anal area and in the second position as a women's shower.
  • the temperature of the water exiting the under shower and heated in a heating device can preferably be the same as the strength of the water jet be individually adjustable.
  • a generic device for connecting the shower of a hygienic toilet seat to the water pipe network is known.
  • the under-shower is connected to the fitting of a wash basin via a hose line and a connector.
  • the supply line to the under-shower is located a non-return valve, the movable flap of which clears the flow path towards the shower at any time, while the flap closes an inflow opening of the non-return valve in the event of a backflow ⁇
  • the non-return valve assumes its open position.
  • the flow path between the water supply network and the shower is released or blocked by depressing a push button.
  • connection of the under-shower of a hygienic toilet seat to the water supply network is known.
  • the connection here consists of a flexible hose which is partially passed through a holding plate for the purpose of support and guidance.
  • a pipe interrupter which can also be used in showering and which, in the event of a line break in the feed network, prevents faeces from being sucked into the feed network as a result of a vacuum or back suction.
  • the pipe interrupter has a nozzle and a downstream diffuser, the water emerging from the nozzle at high speed having to overcome a free flow cross section which is connected to the environment. While approx. 83% of the water reaches the subsequent diffuser and thus reaches the shower, the remaining water is discharged from the pipe interrupter via a channel.
  • a pipe interrupter which can be used in pipelines is also known from US Pat. No. 4,582,081.
  • This consists of a housing, an insert and a hose membrane arranged on the insert.
  • the cup-shaped insert is provided with radial openings, which are normally closed by the elastic hose membrane.
  • the pressure side of the pipe interrupter is closed while the side of the pipe interrupter facing away from the pressure is connected to the environment via an annular channel, which surrounds the hose membrane at a distance.
  • the hose membrane expands, laying against a collar of the ring channel and closing it. If the pressure rises further, the part of the hose membrane facing away from the flow separates from the insert and releases an annular flow passage.
  • the hose membrane rests against the insert and seals it, so that undesirable backflows do not occur.
  • the invention is based on the US-A 3,430,268 the object of the bidet to make such a hygienic toilet seat individually adjustable and safe from contamination, are being under all circumstances Back Get liquids from the toilet bowl avoided in the water mains should.
  • the solution to this problem is characterized in that the shower is connected to the branch piece via a connecting pipe in which the one-sided blocking valve and the further valve are arranged, and that the further valve is designed as a regulating valve and the one-sided blocking valve as a pipe interrupter, which is formed by an elastic and stretchable hose membrane, which is attached with its front end in the inflow direction on an inner tube piece, which is inserted into the connecting pipe, has at least one radial passage opening and is closed at its rear end in the inflow direction, and that the Hose membrane at its rear end in the inflow direction is surrounded by the inside of an outer tube piece, which is also inserted into the connecting tube and surrounds the hose membrane with a sieve.
  • a pipe interrupter which is formed by an elastic and stretchable hose membrane, which is attached with its front end in the inflow direction on an inner tube piece, which is inserted into the connecting pipe, has at least one radial passage opening and is closed at its rear end in the inflow direction, and that the Hose membrane at its rear end
  • the lower edge of the deepest air inlet opening of the pipe interrupter should be at least 150 mm above the upper edge of the toilet bowl, so that the risk is avoided that water or liquids are sucked back out of the toilet bowl into the pipeline if, on the one hand, the toilet bowl is up is filled to the edge of the pool and, on the other hand, a negative pressure occurs in the water network.
  • the pipe interrupter prevents water from flowing back into the water supply network; it is thus possible to firmly connect the hygienic toilet seat to the water supply network on the basis of the configuration according to the invention, the under shower also being individually adjustable and soiling-proof.
  • the pipeline containing the pipe interrupter and the regulating valve can be connected to the branch piece or to the toilet seat containing the shower, respectively, by means of a union nut. This results in a particularly simple installation option with conventional clamping seals.
  • FIG. 1 shows a top view of a corner valve 1, with the aid of which the water inlet 3 leading to a cistern 2 is connected to the water supply network (not shown).
  • the cistern 2 is only indicated schematically, since it, like the corner valve 1 and the water inlet 3, is not part of the subject matter of the invention.
  • the cistern 2 belongs to a toilet that is equipped with a hygiene toilet seat, which was also not shown in the drawing.
  • This hygienic toilet seat includes a shower with a heater for the water.
  • Fig.1 the water connection 4 for this hygienic toilet seat is indicated schematically.
  • a device In order to be able to firmly connect this water connection 4, which leads to the under-shower, not shown, to the water supply network, a device is used, which is shown in solid lines in FIG.
  • the device comprises a T-shaped branch piece 5, which is inserted into the water inlet 3 between the corner valve 1 and the cistern 2 by means of two union nuts 6 is inserted.
  • a connecting pipe 7 is connected to the branch of this branch piece 5, the other end of which can also be connected to the water connection 4 of the hygiene toilet seat by means of a union nut 6.
  • a pipe interrupter 8 is arranged, which is shown in Figure 2 in the flow position and in Figure 1 in the blocking position.
  • regulating valve 9 in the connecting pipe 7.
  • regulating valve 9 and pipe interrupter 8 are connected to form a structural unit and are integrated into the connecting pipe 7 via two further union nuts 6.
  • the pipe interrupter 8 lies with the lower edge of its deepest air inlet opening 17a at least 165 mm above the upper edge of the toilet bowl, not shown in the drawing.
  • the pipe interrupter 8 comprises an elastic and stretchable hose membrane 10.
  • This hose membrane 10 is fastened at its front end in the inflow direction to an inner pipe section 11 which is inserted into the connecting pipe 7 and is held by a nut 13 with the interposition of a seal 12.
  • a retaining ring 14 is used to support the fastening end of the hose membrane 10.
  • the tubular membrane 10 surrounds the inner tube piece 11 which is provided with at least one passage opening 15 and which is closed at its rear end 11a in the inflow direction. If, accordingly, the hose membrane 10 rests on the inner tube piece 11 and closes the passage opening 15 according to FIG. 1, no water can flow through the tube interrupter 8 against the actual flow direction. Also at Occurrence of underpressure in the water inlet 3 is thus prevented that contaminated water from the water connection 4 flows back into the water supply network.
  • the pipe interrupter 8 is in the flow position shown in FIG.
  • water flows from the upper part of the connecting pipe 7 via the regulating valve 9 into the inner pipe section 11 of the pipe interrupter 8. It emerges from the radial through openings 15 and enters the interior of the hose membrane, the unsecured end of which is from the end 11a of the inner pipe section 11 due to the water pressure is pushed away and lies against the inside of an outer tube piece 16, which surrounds the end 11a of the inner tube piece 11.
  • the pipe interrupter 8 is connected to the lower part of the connecting pipe 7 via the union nut 6.
  • the outer tube piece 16 forms a type of sieve 17 with a plurality of ventilation openings 17a.
  • This screen 17 is covered on its outside by a bell 18.
  • the nut 13 is made in one piece with the sieve 17 and the outer tube piece 16.
