Abstract

Eine Dichtungsvorrichtung für Walzenlager weist Bewehrungs­ elemente (12 bis 15) auf. Im Betrieb einer derartigen Dich­ tungsvorrichtung hat es sich gezeigt, daß der Bereich (26) der Dichtungsvorrichtung bei hohen Umdrehungsgeschwindigkeiten zum Verbiegen neigt. Dabei wird die Ringrippe (18) und die Ringlippe (20) gegen die Dichtungsfläche (21) gepreßt. Die Fol­ gen davon sind hoher Verschleiß und frühzeitiger Ausfall. Es wird vorgeschlagen ein Bewehrungselement (24, 25) in den Be­ reich (26) des Dichtungskörpers einzuvulkanisieren.
