Definitions
- the present invention relates to a plastic closure comprising a lower part which can be placed on a container neck with a spout and a spout which is connected to it and is closed at the upper end and which serves as a sealing pin, and a swivel cap which is rotatably connected to the lower part and has a central opening. into which the upper closed end of the pouring spout protrudes in the closed state of the closure.
- closures have been on the market for many years and have proven themselves as closures for plastic containers, in particular for liquid soaps and cosmetics. Only few disadvantages of such closures have been shown in the area used to date.
- the above-mentioned closures can be moved up and down relative to the lower part with a fixed lower part during opening and closing of the closure, a grommet firmly connected to it, and an axial part Designed cap.
- the seal between the lower part and the cap takes place on the one hand between the central grommet on the lower part and the edge of the central opening of the cap in the closed state of the closure and on the other hand directly between the outer ring wall of the lower part or the container neck and the vertical ring wall of the cap.
- the seal is usually made via the internal thread of the cap and the external thread of the lower part or the container neck.
- the thread In the open position of the closure, in which the cap is displaced upwards relative to the neck of the container, the thread only partially interlocks and the seal is therefore only defective. This is because the entire space under the cap fills with the contents of the container and has to be pressed back into the container when it is closed.
- the plastic closure consists of three main elements, of which a lower part 1 and a cap 2 are always separate parts, while a pouring spout 3 which is functionally connected to the central opening in the cap 2 has a separate part in the position of use and a spraying position with the bottom part connected element.
- the lower part 1 is in any case attached to the container neck H of the container B, and there are also various known fastening options here.
- FIGS. 1-3 A somewhat special situation is shown in FIGS. 1-3 in that the lower part 1 and the pouring spout 3 are shown in one piece in the position of manufacture. When installing the closure, however, the connections are destroyed and the pouring spout 3 is separated from the lower part 1.
- the lower part 1 has a vertical, annular jacket wall 10, which is delimited at the top by a cover surface 11.
- the lower part 10 is according to this embodiment with a thread 12 for attachment equipped on the container neck H.
- the lower edge of the casing wall 10 is sawtooth-shaped 13 in order to prevent it from being unscrewed from the container neck.
- a vertically closed annular wall 14 is arranged on the top surface 11, which is offset inwards relative to the jacket wall 10. It runs concentrically around the central spout 15 in the top surface 11.
- the shape of the spout is round and has a plurality of recesses 16 which correspond in shape and position to the radially projecting ribs on the spout 3.
- the ring wall 14 has a circumferential, rounded ring groove 17 on the inside.
- the pouring spout 3 is drawn here in a position that corresponds to the production position.
- This pouring spout 3 is essentially a pipe section 30 which is provided with an external thread 31.
- the tube section 30 is covered at the top by a hood 32.
- This hood 32 is supported by two walls 33 running diametrically through the pipe section 30 and running perpendicular to one another. There are therefore four openings 34 delimited by the two diametrical walls 33 between the upper edge of the pipe section 30 and the hood 32.
- three radially outwardly directed ribs 35 can be seen at a regular distance from one another.
- the ribs 35 are connected to the top surface 11 of the lower part 1 in the production position.
- these predetermined breaking points 36 are destroyed and the pouring spout is separated from the lower part and moved to a lower position.
- the inside diameter of the vertical outer jacket wall 20 of the union cap 2 corresponds to the outside diameter of the jacket wall 10 of the lower part 1, so that the union cap 2 is like a union nut over the lower part 1 and the spout 3 stored therein can be put over.
- the cap surface 21 is pulled up to a point.
- a central opening 22 At the top is a central opening 22.
- the diameter of the central opening 22 corresponds exactly to the diameter of the hood 32 of the pouring spout 3, so that the hood 32 fits exactly into the opening 22.
- the sleeve 23 has an internal thread 24 into which the external thread 31 of the pouring spout 3 fits exactly.
- An annular wall 25 running concentrically around the sleeve 23 is provided with an outwardly directed annular bead 26.
- the annular bead 26 lies in the annular groove 17 of the annular wall 14 on the lower part 1. This does not allow a relative displacement in the axial direction between the lower part and the cap, during which rotation of the two parts relative to one another is ensured.
- the pouring spout 3 and the lower part 1 are two separate parts and the lower part 1 and the cap 2 are now immovable in the axial direction, but can be rotated relative to each other.
- the vertical jacket wall 20 of the cap 2 slides over the vertical jacket wall 10 of the lower part 1.
- the lower end of the jacket wall 20 slides during axial displacement behind a guarantee band 18, which is connected to the jacket wall 10 of the lower part via thin webs or bridges 19. In this position, the lock is closed and guaranteed. If you open the closure for the first time, you only have to unscrew the cap, as usual.
- the closure can also be placed on a container, the container neck of which is sealed with an aluminum foil.
- the tip 37 which is formed by the two walls 33, penetrates the aluminum foil.
- the film is not visible to the end user. Therefore, a particularly inexpensive film can be used here, which is also allowed to oxidize easily.

Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a plastic closure comprising a lower part which can be placed on a container neck with a spout and a spout which is connected to it and is closed at the upper end and which serves as a sealing pin, and a swivel cap which is rotatably connected to the lower part and has a central opening. into which the upper closed end of the pouring spout protrudes in the closed state of the closure.
Such closures have been on the market for many years and have proven themselves as closures for plastic containers, in particular for liquid soaps and cosmetics. Only few disadvantages of such closures have been shown in the area used to date. The above-mentioned closures can be moved up and down relative to the lower part with a fixed lower part during opening and closing of the closure, a grommet firmly connected to it, and an axial part Designed cap. The seal between the lower part and the cap takes place on the one hand between the central grommet on the lower part and the edge of the central opening of the cap in the closed state of the closure and on the other hand directly between the outer ring wall of the lower part or the container neck and the vertical ring wall of the cap. At the second point, the seal is usually made via the internal thread of the cap and the external thread of the lower part or the container neck. In the open position of the closure, in which the cap is displaced upwards relative to the neck of the container, the thread only partially interlocks and the seal is therefore only defective. This is because the entire space under the cap fills with the contents of the container and has to be pressed back into the container when it is closed.
From DE-A-15'36'129, in addition to a closure according to the preamble of the claim, various variants of sealing pin closures are known. These all start from the idea of making the base and cap rotatable in the same relative position to each other and only that non-rotating sealing pin to move up and down. In addition to a variant in which the sealing pin and lower part are connected in one piece via the flexible wall area, the other variants consist of three separate parts that can be assembled. The seal between the cap and the lower part always takes place via highly problematic cylindrical walls.
It is therefore the object of the present invention to create a plastic closure according to the preamble of claim 1, which, despite better sealing properties, only requires two molded parts and thus allows easier assembly. It is a further object of the invention to design the closure in such a way that it might also be suitable for sealed containers.
The object is achieved by a plastic closure according to the preamble of the patent claim, which is characterized in that the lower part and the spout are integrally connected to one another before assembly via bridge-shaped predetermined breaking points between the radial ribs and the edges of the positive recesses in the spout of the lower part.

It is also advantageous if a detachable guarantee band is provided on the lower part, which prevents the union cap from twisting by means of form-locking means. For the first time, this allows a guarantee of integrity on such closures. Further advantageous embodiments emerge from the dependent claims. A preferred embodiment is shown in the accompanying drawing, for example, and is explained on the basis of the following description.

The plastic closure consists of three main elements, of which a lower part 1 and a cap 2 are always separate parts, while a pouring spout 3 which is functionally connected to the central opening in the cap 2 has a separate part in the position of use and a spraying position with the bottom part connected element.
The lower part 1 is in any case attached to the container neck H of the container B, and there are also various known fastening options here.
A somewhat special situation is shown in FIGS. 1-3 in that the lower part 1 and the pouring spout 3 are shown in one piece in the position of manufacture. When installing the closure, however, the connections are destroyed and the pouring spout 3 is separated from the lower part 1. The lower part 1 has a vertical, annular jacket wall 10, which is delimited at the top by a
As already mentioned, the pouring spout 3 is drawn here in a position that corresponds to the production position. This pouring spout 3 is essentially a
Another peculiarity of this pouring spout is that the two
The cap 2 belonging to the lower part 1, according to FIGS. 1-3, is shown in FIGS. 4 and 5. The inside diameter of the vertical

The function of this embodiment of the closure and the functional interaction of the various parts will now be briefly described. First of all, the assembly of the closure explained. The cap 2 is placed over the lower part 1, as shown in FIGS. 1-3. The pouring spout 3 comes to lie in the
If you open the closure for the first time, you only have to unscrew the cap, as usual.
However, because the cap cannot move axially, the now loose pouring spout 3 slides down until the
From here the contents of the container flow around the
In the described embodiment, the closure can also be placed on a container, the container neck of which is sealed with an aluminum foil. When the closure is opened for the first time, the
