Der Faltrevolver 3 sowie die Endlosförderer 4 und 6 sind mit in gleichmäßigen Abständen und gleicher Teilung angeordneten Aufnahmetaschen 26 bzw. 17 versehen, die zur Aufnahme der zu verpackenden Zigaretten in Form von blockförmig zusammengestellten Zigarettengruppen 18 dienen, indem die Zigaretten 1 über einzelne entlang der Förderbahn des Endlosförderers 4 hintereinanderliegende Zuführschächte 19 eines Magazins 21 lagenweise und queraxial über die an ihrer oberen Schmalseite befindliche Aufnahmeöffnung in die Aufnahmetaschen 17 überführt werden. Dabei wird ein freier Fall der Zigaretten 1 bis auf den Boden der Aufnahmetasche durch ein Stößelglied 22 verhindert, welches entsprechend der aufeinanderfolgend eingegebenen Zigarettenlagen gesteuert bis in die untere dargestellte Position abgesenkt wird. Der äußere Umfang des Faltrevolvers 3 dient gleichzeitig als Haltefläche 26 für Packungszuschnitte 27 eines inneren Blockeinschlags und für Packungszuschnitte 28 einer äußeren Blockumhüllung, wobei die Haltefläche mit Saugluft beaufschlagt sein kann. Die Packungszuschnitte 27 werden durch eine Messerwalzenanordnung 29 von einer in Pfeilrichtung 31 zugeführten Hüllmaterialbahn 32 abgeschnitten und mittels einer Saugwalze 33 auf die Haltefläche 26 des Faltrevolvers 3 derart aufgelegt, daß sie dessen Aufnahmetaschen 16 überdecken.The outer circumference of the
Die Aufnahmetaschen 16 des Faltrevolvers 3 mit den sie überdeckenden Packungszuschnitten 27 und die Aufnahmetaschen 17 mit den darin befindlichen, mit ihrer Breitseite der Förderrichtung zugewandten Zigarettengruppen 18 werden kontinuierlich dem gemeinsamen Förderabschnitt 12 zugeführt, auf dem die Aufnahmetaschen 17 des Endlosförderers 4 und die Aufnahmetaschen 16 des Faltrevolvers 3 paarweise miteinander fluchten und radial auf die Drehachse des Faltrevolvers 3 ausgerichtet sind. Beim Beginn dieser fluchtenden Ausrichtung in dem in Figur 2 dargestellten Bereich wird die Zigarettengruppe 18 quer zur Zuförderrichtung mit einer Schmalseite voran durch das Stößelglied 22 gemeinsam mit dem zwischen der Aufnahmetasche 17 des Endlosförderers 4 und der Aufnahmetasiche 16 des Faltrevolvers 3 befindlichen Pakkungszuschnitt 27 in die Aufnahmetasche 16 des Falterevolvers 3 geschoben, wobei das Stößelglied 24 des Faltrevolvers 3 in gleichem Maße gesteuert zurückweicht wie das Stößelglied 22 vorgeschoben wird, so daß sich der Packungszuschnitt 27 um die Zigarettengruppe 18 herumlegt. Dieser Bewegungsablauf ist in dem in Figur 3 dargestellten Bereich beendet. Die wie bereits zuvor auf dem Endlosförderer 4 mit ihrer Breitseite der Förderrichtung zugewandten und nunmehr teilumhüllten Zigarettengruppen 18 werden anschließend ebenfalls mit ihrer Breitseite voran einer Faltstation 34 des Faltrevolvers 3 zugeführt, an der zwei Einschläger 36 und 37 einen Inneneinschlag 38 sowie einen Außeneinschlag 39 an der Zigarettengruppe 18 ausführen. Von einem in Pfeilrichtung 48 zugeführten Blankettstreifen 49 für die Außenumhüllung der Zigarettengruppen 18 werden mittels einer Messerwalzenanordnung 51 die Packungs- bzw. Blankettzuschnitte 28 abgetrennt, durch eine Beleimungsvorrichtung 52 beleimt und unter Überdeckung der Aufnahmetaschen 16 auf den Faltrevolver 3 überführt. Im oberseitigen gemeinsamen Förderabschnitt 13 des Faltrevolvers 3 und des Endlosförderers 6 werden bei weggeschwenktem Einschläger 36 nunmehr die teilumhüllten Zigarettengruppen 18 ebenfalls quer zu ihrer Zuförderrichtung jeweils durch ein Stößelglied 24 des Faltrevolvers 3 gemainsam mit einem Blankettzuschnitt 28 in eine fluchtende Aufnahmetasche 17 des Endlosförderers 6 überführt, wobei dessen Stößerglied 23 in gleichem Maße gesteuert zurückweicht und sich der Blankettzuschnitt 28 um die teilumhüllte Zigarettengruppe 18 herumlegt.
