Abstract
Eine Vorrichtung zur Erzeugung von Druckpulsen in einem einen Bohrrohrstrang (1) abwärts durchströmenden Bohrspülungsmedium umfaßt ein in dem Bohrrohrstrang (1) angeordnetes Ventil mit einem axial verschieblichen, rohrförmigen Hauptventilkörper (4), einem koaxial im Hauptventilkörper (4) angeordneten, ortsfesten, rohrförmigen Trägerkörper (5), der im Überlappungsbereich mit dem Hauptventilkörper (4) mit diesem einen zylindrischen Spalt (18) begrenzt, und einem mittels eines Antriebs (15) betätigbaren Hilfsventil (13, 14). Der Außenteil (3) und der Hauptventilkörper (4) begrenzen zwischen sich eine Drosselstrecke (28) mit in Abhängigkeit von der Stellung des Hauptventilkörpers (4) veränderlichem Durchflußquerschnitt, und der Hauptventilkörper (4) und der Trägerkörper (5) umgeben einen Innenströmungskanal (21, 12, 10), dessen Eintrittsöffnung (25) zentral in dem Stirnteil (22) des Hauptventilkörpers (4) vorgesehen und dessen Austrittsöffnung (13) zentral an dem unteren geschlossenen Fußteil (8) des Trägerkörpers (5) angeordnet und mittels des Hilfsventilkörpers (14) freigeb- und verschließbar ist. Dabei ist der Spalt (18) zwischen dem Hauptventilkörper (4) und dem Trägerkörper (5) von Bohrspülungsmedium frei durchströmbar und bildet im Überlappungsbereich eine enge Drosselstrecke (29;30).
