Definitions
- the invention relates to a dishwashing device consisting of a base body forming a handle, handle or the like and cleaning elements attached to it.
- Dishwashing brushes, sponges or wipes are primarily used as manual dishwashing devices. Dishwashing brushes must be rinsed or cleaned in the immersed state because of their lack of water absorption. Due to the relatively small brushing surface, a large number of cleaning movements must be carried out for large-scale crockery parts. The latter also applies to hand sponges, which, however, also allow cleaning without immersion and thus with better visibility. Such hand sponges of low overall height must, however, at least be fully immersed in the rinse water and the dipping process may have to be repeated if the absorbed water has escaped too quickly due to excessive pressure. Brushes and sponges also have the disadvantage that there is food residue or other dirt get stuck in the narrow bristles or in the pores of the sponge and are difficult to remove.
- tea towels have become increasingly popular in the past, which consist of an absorbent fleece, which absorbs water very quickly, but the structure of which is such that food residues and other dirt cannot penetrate into the fleece and which easily rinse under running water. You do not necessarily have to dip your hand into the water to moisten the cloth.
- the hygienic conditions are also to be regarded as disadvantageous here, since the good water absorption capacity means that the cloth keeps the residual moisture for a long time even after wringing out and several hours are necessary for drying.
- the invention has for its object to provide a dishwashing device consisting of a handle, handle or the like.
- Basic body and attached cleaning elements so that with an effective cleaning option food and dirt residues can not get stuck and ensures quick drying of the cleaning elements is.
- the cleaning elements consist of soft, water-absorbent fringe-like fibers or strips, and that the base body for setting up the cleaning device is set up in a position in which the cleaning elements fan out essentially palm-like upward.
- the cleaning elements which according to the invention consist of soft, water-absorbent fringe-like fibers or strips, can be immersed in the rinsing water by means of the base body, which forms a handle or handle, without doing so the hand itself must be immersed.
- the cleaning elements absorb sufficient water so that cleaning of the dishes is also possible outside of the water.
- the fringe-like fibers or strips lay on the dishes under the pressure on the handle or handle and release the water during the cleaning movement.
- the fibers or strips result in a large number of effective cleaning edges which are guided over the surface of the dishes, so that very effective and quick cleaning is possible with a few cleaning movements. This applies not only to conventional tea towels, but also to dish brushes, which are usually only effective with the bristle ends, as well as to sponges, which may have cleaning edges on their outer contour.
- the base body is set up to set up the cleaning device and in this position the essentially upwardly facing cleaning elements fan out like a palm, intensive air access to the cleaning elements is ensured, so that they dry quickly in the rest position. This applies even if the cleaning elements do not consist of fibers, but of strips of finite width. If necessary, the drying process can be promoted by squeezing the cleaning elements by hand before setting up the cleaning device and wringing them out as a result.
- the base body can have a standing surface on the side opposite the cleaning elements for setting up the cleaning device.
- This training has the advantage that the cleaning device can be set up on any flat surface and the cleaning elements can be left to dry.
- the base body can be designed on its circumference or on the side opposite the cleaning elements for receiving in a holder for setting up the cleaning device.
- a holder can be base or ring-shaped, can be placed on a surface or attached to the wall.
- cleaning devices with a set of different cleaning elements can also be put together to form a set.
- the cleaning elements are formed from strip-shaped blanks of a fleece, fabric, foam or sponge, wherein blanks made of a non-woven material, such as are used today for tea towels, have proven particularly useful.
- the folding into a double layer allows a large number of effective cleaning elements with a large water absorption capacity and water retention capacity to be accommodated on a relatively small base area of the base body. At the same time, there is a large number of cleaning and scraping edges.
- the cleaning elements are mounted approximately vertically on a surface of the base body, which surface can have a flat or curved contour.
- the attachment provided perpendicular to the surface ensures to a particular extent that when the cleaning device is set up, the cleaning elements fan out evenly and maintain a sufficient distance from one another to ensure all-round air access for drying.
- the cleaning elements are attached to the base body in an approximately circular and concentric arrangement, and if the cleaning elements consist of strip-shaped blanks, these can be attached to the base body with their blank width approximately along tangents on concentric circumferential circles . In each of these cases it is ensured that the cleaning elements fall apart and fan out evenly on all sides when the cleaning device is set up.
- the base body consists of at least two parts, of which one part is designed as a carrier for the cleaning elements and is preferably attached to the further part of the base body in an exchangeable manner.
- the manufacture of the actual cleaning part which consists of carrier and cleaning elements, is first made easier by not having to guide the entire base body through the manufacturing process.
- any material in particular a material adapted to the type of fastening of the cleaning elements, can be selected for the carrier.
- the material of the handle or handle can be adapted to its functions.
- the carrier with the cleaning elements can be separated from the base body in order to clean one or the other part, for example in a dish dishwasher or the like, to facilitate.
- the base body can be designed as an open or closed hollow body, preferably made of plastic. In the case of a closed hollow body, this offers the possibility of filling it with dishwashing detergent or the like and supplying it to the cleaning elements via outlet openings in the carrier, these media contained in the hollow body not being able to escape in the installed position of the cleaning device, but on the other hand in Use of the device in the reverse position, similar to a dispenser.
- the embodiment of a dishwashing device 1 shown in FIGS. 1 to 4 consists of a base body 2 and a plurality of cleaning elements 3 attached to it.
- the base body 2 has a flat surface 4 in this exemplary embodiment, to which the cleaning elements 3 are fastened.
- the basic body is formed in two parts in the embodiment shown. It consists of a hollow cylindrical part 5 that forms a kind of handle and a support 6 that has the facing surface 4, which in this case can be exchanged, for example by means of a catch, a screw connection or the like, on which the part 5 that forms the handle is attached. Due to the two-part design of the base body 2, a cavity 7 is formed, which can optionally be used to hold cleaning agents, detergents or the like.
- the cleaning elements 3 then pass through outlet openings (not shown) in the carrier 6 in the position of the cleaning device shown in FIG. 1 can be dosed.
- the cleaning elements 3 are formed from strip-shaped blanks of a nonwoven, these blanks 8 being folded into a double layer and fastened in the region of the fold 9 on the surface 4 of the carrier 6.
- the already given water absorption capacity of the individual strip-shaped blanks due to the porosity of the fleece is further increased by the double layer of each blank, in that moisture or water also remains between the two strips of a cleaning element.
- the cleaning elements 3 are fastened to the carrier 6 essentially perpendicular to the surface 4, so that they hang down in the position of use according to FIG.
- the cleaning device 1 is set up in the position shown in FIG.
- it has a flat installation surface 10 on the side opposite the cleaning elements, which is provided on the handle-like part 5.
- the cleaning elements 3 fan out like a palm, as can be seen in FIG. This fanning out is favored by the attachment of the cleaning elements perpendicular to the surface 4. This effect is further supported by the fact that the cleaning elements 3, as can be seen from FIG. 3, are arranged in a circle, namely on concentric circles on the surface 4.
- the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 4 differs from that of FIGS. 1 and 2 in that the base body 1 from the side 11 opposite the cleaning element 3 is set up to set up the cleaning device in such a way that the latter, for example, in a base 12 with a base body 2 in the area the page 11 adapted recording 13 can be set. Similarly, it is possible to accommodate the cleaning device 1 in a ring, between spring arms or the like.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a dishwashing device consisting of a base body forming a handle, handle or the like and cleaning elements attached to it.
Dishwashing brushes, sponges or wipes are primarily used as manual dishwashing devices. These cleaning devices therefore only insufficiently meet the hygiene requirements. For this reason, tea towels have become increasingly popular in the past, which consist of an absorbent fleece, which absorbs water very quickly, but the structure of which is such that food residues and other dirt cannot penetrate into the fleece and which easily rinse under running water. You do not necessarily have to dip your hand into the water to moisten the cloth. However, the hygienic conditions are also to be regarded as disadvantageous here, since the good water absorption capacity means that the cloth keeps the residual moisture for a long time even after wringing out and several hours are necessary for drying.
The invention has for its object to provide a dishwashing device consisting of a handle, handle or the like. Basic body and attached cleaning elements so that with an effective cleaning option food and dirt residues can not get stuck and ensures quick drying of the cleaning elements is.
This object is achieved in that the cleaning elements consist of soft, water-absorbent fringe-like fibers or strips, and that the base body for setting up the cleaning device is set up in a position in which the cleaning elements fan out essentially palm-like upward.
The cleaning elements, which according to the invention consist of soft, water-absorbent fringe-like fibers or strips, can be immersed in the rinsing water by means of the base body, which forms a handle or handle, without doing so the hand itself must be immersed. The cleaning elements absorb sufficient water so that cleaning of the dishes is also possible outside of the water. The fringe-like fibers or strips lay on the dishes under the pressure on the handle or handle and release the water during the cleaning movement. In contrast to tea towels, the fibers or strips result in a large number of effective cleaning edges which are guided over the surface of the dishes, so that very effective and quick cleaning is possible with a few cleaning movements. This applies not only to conventional tea towels, but also to dish brushes, which are usually only effective with the bristle ends, as well as to sponges, which may have cleaning edges on their outer contour.
Appropriate cross-sectional geometry and arrangement of the fringe-like fibers or strips ensure that there are sufficiently large cavities between them and thus good ventilation, so that rapid drying is also possible. This is supported by the fact that the fibers or strips do not have to fit as tightly as, for example, bristles.
Through the further measure according to the invention that the base body is set up to set up the cleaning device and in this position the essentially upwardly facing cleaning elements fan out like a palm, intensive air access to the cleaning elements is ensured, so that they dry quickly in the rest position. This applies even if the cleaning elements do not consist of fibers, but of strips of finite width. If necessary, the drying process can be promoted by squeezing the cleaning elements by hand before setting up the cleaning device and wringing them out as a result.
Finally, due to the fringe-like design of the fibers or strips, good cleaning of food particles or other dirt from the cleaning elements is possible by at least immersing the cleaning elements in water and briefly moving the cleaning device back and forth. The good cleaning of the cleaning elements results from their unlimited mobility under the pivoting movements, under which the water can penetrate intensively between the cleaning elements.
According to one embodiment, the base body can have a standing surface on the side opposite the cleaning elements for setting up the cleaning device. This training has the advantage that the cleaning device can be set up on any flat surface and the cleaning elements can be left to dry.
Instead, it is also possible for the base body to be designed on its circumference or on the side opposite the cleaning elements for receiving in a holder for setting up the cleaning device. Such a holder can be base or ring-shaped, can be placed on a surface or attached to the wall. Several cleaning devices with a set of different cleaning elements can also be put together to form a set.
In a preferred embodiment, the cleaning elements are formed from strip-shaped blanks of a fleece, fabric, foam or sponge, wherein blanks made of a non-woven material, such as are used today for tea towels, have proven particularly useful. The folding into a double layer allows a large number of effective cleaning elements with a large water absorption capacity and water retention capacity to be accommodated on a relatively small base area of the base body. At the same time, there is a large number of cleaning and scraping edges.
In a further advantageous embodiment, the cleaning elements are mounted approximately vertically on a surface of the base body, which surface can have a flat or curved contour. The attachment provided perpendicular to the surface ensures to a particular extent that when the cleaning device is set up, the cleaning elements fan out evenly and maintain a sufficient distance from one another to ensure all-round air access for drying.
The same purpose serves the further preferred measure, according to which the cleaning elements are attached to the base body in an approximately circular and concentric arrangement, and if the cleaning elements consist of strip-shaped blanks, these can be attached to the base body with their blank width approximately along tangents on concentric circumferential circles . In each of these cases it is ensured that the cleaning elements fall apart and fan out evenly on all sides when the cleaning device is set up.
According to a further exemplary embodiment, the base body consists of at least two parts, of which one part is designed as a carrier for the cleaning elements and is preferably attached to the further part of the base body in an exchangeable manner.
With the aforementioned measures, the manufacture of the actual cleaning part, which consists of carrier and cleaning elements, is first made easier by not having to guide the entire base body through the manufacturing process. In addition, any material, in particular a material adapted to the type of fastening of the cleaning elements, can be selected for the carrier. Likewise, the material of the handle or handle can be adapted to its functions. Furthermore, there is the advantage that the carrier with the cleaning elements can be separated from the base body in order to clean one or the other part, for example in a dish dishwasher or the like, to facilitate. Finally, after a longer period of use, it is possible to replace the carrier with worn cleaning elements by a carrier with new cleaning elements, while the handle or handle, which is far less subject to wear, can continue to be used, so that overall a cost-effective design also results for the user.
The base body can be designed as an open or closed hollow body, preferably made of plastic.

- Figure 4 is a view similar to Figure 2 of a modified embodiment.
The embodiment of a dishwashing device 1 shown in FIGS. 1 to 4 consists of a
In the exemplary embodiment shown, the
