Abstract

A process is proposed for determining when the end state of compactness has been reached when working in the ground with a power-driven soil-compacting machine. For this purpose, a machine parameter dependent upon the state of compactness is permanently monitored in a known manner, and the invention consists in the fact that the relative change with time of the degree of compactness is determined, and that, for this purpose, the relative change with time of the delivered motor output or of a motor parameter characteristic of this motor output is measured as the machine parameter.

Bei dem erfindungsgemäßen Verfahren wird gegenüber dem be­kannten Verfahren anstelle der in der gemessenen Beschleu­nigung zum Ausdruck kommenden Ist-Wertes der Bodenfestig­keit nur die relative zeitliche Veränderung des Verdich­tungsgrades festgestellt, wofür als Maschinenparameter die Motorleistung herangezogen werden kann, da Versuche der Anmelderin gezeigt haben, daß die dem Antriebsmotor für die Schwingungserreger abgeforderte Leistung mit zunehmender Bodensteifigkeit abnimmt und ihr zeitlicher Differential­quotient gegen Null geht, wenn sich die Bodensteifigkeit unter der Einwirkung der Bodenverdichtungmaschine ebenfalls nicht mehr ändert, ohne daß es hierbei auf den tatsächlichen Wert der erreichten Bodensteifigkeit ankäme. Es ist daher mit einfachen technischen Hilfsmitteln, ggf. unter Einschluß einer optischen oder akustischen Anzeige, möglich, festzu­stellen und anzuzeigen, wann die bei dem vorliegenden Ver­dichtungsmaterial, der verwendeten Verdichtungsmaschine, der gegebenen Feuchtigkeit im Boden usw. maximal mögliche Verdichtungsgrad erreicht worden ist, so daß die weitere Be­arbeitung des Bodens mit der Bodenverdichtungsmaschine ein­gestellt werden kann, weil damit keine weitere Verdichtung des Bodens mehr erreichbar ist sondern im Gegenteil beim Weiterarbeiten , wie bekannt , nur die Gefahr einer Wieder­auflockerung des Bodens besteht.In the method according to the invention, compared to the known method, instead of the actual value of the soil strength expressed in the measured acceleration, only the relative temporal change in the degree of compaction is determined, for which the engine power can be used as machine parameters, since tests by the applicant have shown that the the drive motor for the vibration exciter required power decreases with increasing ground stiffness and their temporal differential quotient goes to zero if the ground stiffness also no longer changes under the influence of the soil compaction machine, without it being a matter of the actual value of the ground stiffness achieved. Die Veränderung der gemessenen Parameter kann direkt z.B. als sich mit abnehmender Geschwindigkeit ändernder Zeiger­ausschlag , angezeigt werden, um dann vom Bedienenden aus­gewertet zu werden. Bei einer anderen bevorzugten Ausfüh­rungsform der Erfindung ist vorgesehen, ein - optisches, akustisches oder dgl. - Signal zu erzeugen, wenn der zeit­liche Differentialquotient der Motorleistung bzw. des für diese charakteristischen Motorparameterseinen vorgegebenen Wert unterschreitet. Verfahren zum Feststellen, wann beim Arbeiten mit einer motorisch angetriebenen Bodenverdichtungsmaschine im Boden der Verdichtungs-Endzustand erreicht worden ist, wofür permanent ein vom Verdichtungszustand abhängiger Maschinenparameter überwacht wird, dadurch ge­kennzeichnet, daß die relative zeitliche Veränderung des Verdichtungsgrades festgestellt und hierfür als Parameter die realtive zeitliche Veränderung der abge­gebenen Motorleistung bzw. eines für diese charakte­ristischen Motorparameters gemessen wird.1.
