Abstract

Die Dampfblaskasten (1) zum Aufbringen von Dampf auf eine Materialbahn (3), wie Papier, weist einen Haupt-Ver­ teilerraum (9) auf. Dieser ist in eine Vielzahl von Kam­ mern (24) unterteilt, die je ein Dampfventil (21) aufwei­ sen. Die Mittellinien der zugehörigen Auslaßöffnungen (35, 36) schließen einen Winkel von mindestens 60° mit einer Achse ein, die senkrecht auf einer Blasöffnungen (8) aufweisenden Gehäusewand (2) steht. Es sind mindestens zwölf solcher Auslaßöffnungen (35, 36) vorgesehen. Dies führt zu einer sehr gleichmäßigen Verteilung des Dampfes in der Kammer und damit zu einem gleichmäßigen Bedampfen der Materialbahn unterhalb dieser Kammer.
