Toy vehicle with at least one rigid axle cooperating with its chassis (7), characterized in that this axle is produced in the form of two distant bosses (12) constituting a bearing for a shaft (2) whose ends each carry a wheel, these bosses (12) forming part of the lateral branches (13) of a stirrup (1) which, with its transverse bar (14) cooperate with a notch (33), and a notch (34) formed in lugs (31) integral with said chassis (7) so that under the effect of an elastic means (4) bearing against the stirrup (1), the latter is retained against at least some of the facets (33 a , b , c , (d) notches (33) in order to determine the different extreme positions of this stirrup (1), while in its central position it is engaged in the notch (34). 2.
