Tritt an der Schwenkent- und Verriegelungsvorrichtung eine Störung auf, die diese Positionierung der Führungsrollen verändert, dann können die Kurvenführungen des Bandumlenkwagens ihre Führungsaufgabe nicht übernehmen, weil sie die Führungsrolle nicht erfassen und die Rollentragrahmen werden nicht aus ihrer Arbeitsstellung in die Ruhestellung geschwenkt. Eine andere Möglichkeit besteht darin, daß infolge eines Bruches der Elemente der Klink-Scheiben und Klinken-Schalthebelanordnung die Rollentragrahmen nicht in der jeweils vorgesehenen Stellung festgelegt werden, sondern in einer Zwischenstellung verharren und dabei möglicherweise von dem Bandumlenkwagen zur Seite in Richtung ihrer Ruhestellung gedrückt werden, ohne Schaden anzurichten; sich dann aber bei der Rückkehr des Bandumlenkwagens in einer nicht vorhersehbaren Position in dessen Bewegungsbahn befinden und Kollisionen mit den entsprechenden Folgeschäden verursachen. Die Schwenkachsen der Rollentragrahmen weisen zwar bei derartigen Störungen wirksam werdende Sollbruchstellen auf.
