Claims (3)

1. Système de chargement par le côté, destiné à un navire (1) et comprenant un dispositif de levage de fret qui, dans une cage essentiellement verticale de levage (2) placée à l'intérieur d'un navire à double fond, est disposé le long d'une colonne de guidage (3) qui tourne autour d'un axe vertical, un chariot (4) du dispositif de levage étant équipé d'une poutre (5) montée en porte-à-faux et à l'extrémité de laquelle est montée, par l'intermédiaire d'un axe vertical (6) de rotation, une plate-forme (7) de support de fret qui, par rotation de la colonne de guidage (3), peut être déplacée de la cage du dispositif de levage à la position voulue en dehors du bord du navire, caractérisé en ce que le déplacement de la plate-forme (7) de support de fret par rapport à la poutre en porte-à-faux (5) est réalisé à l'aide d'une transmission mécanique commandée par le mouvement de rotation de la colonne de guidage (3) par rapport au double fond du navire.
2. Système de chargement par le côté selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que le système de transmission mécanique comporte un axe vertical (10) de torsion raccordé par des paliers à la colonne de guidage (3), le couple nécessaire au système de transmission mécanique étant transmis par l'axe de torsion à partir du niveau du double fond du navire au chariot mobile (4) de levage, la partie supérieure de l'axe de torsion ayant très avantageusement une section carrée destinée à transmettre le couple de l'axe de torsion à un élément (11) tel qu'un levier qui en se déplaçant avec le chariot de levage (4), glisse le long de la partie supérieure.
3. Système de chargement par le côté selon l'une des revendications 1 et 2, caractérisé en ce que le système de transmission mécanique comporte en outre une bague dentée (8) qui est concentrique au centre de rotation de la colonne de guidage (3) et qui est fixe par rapport au double fond du navire, et une bague dentée (9) qui est au contact de la première couronne dentée pendant la rotation de la colonne de guidage et qui est montée sur l'axe de torsion (10), l'axe de torsion sous l'action des bagues dentées, étant obligé de tourner en même temps que la colonne de guidage (3) tourne par rapport au double fond du navire.
