Abstract

A drum for promotional material with one or several display surfaces (1) has two mutually-spaced reels (3) that can be driven in parallel and upon which the two ends of a belt (2) of advertising images are wound. Each reel (3) is directly linked by its axis to a stepping motor and both stepping motors (4) are connected to a control unit.

Der Inhalt der einzelnen Bilder, deren Aussagekraft und Darbietung sind so zu wählen, daß sie blickfangartig auf den Betrachter wirken und dessen Entscheidungen unter Anwendung psychologischer Methoden in der gewünschten Weise beeinflußt sollen. Der Erfog dieser Werbemaßnahme bemißt sich danach, wie lange und intensiv die Werbeaussage einem möglichst großen Personenkreis eingeprägt bleibt. Direkte und unmittelbare Kraftübertragung ist die Folge. Gleichzeitig sind aufgrund der direkten Verbindung die zu bewegenden Massen minimal. Durch die sich ändernden und unterschiedlichen Wickeldurchmesser beider Spulen müssen die Schrittmotoren im allgemeinsten Fall eine asynchrone Bewegung ausführen. Sowohl bei einer fotoelektrischen Schranke als auch bei einem Geräuschdetektor wird das Betreten des die Werbetrommel umgebenden Areals durch eine Person mittels optischer und akustischer Geräte erfaßt und zum Einschalten evtl. auch zum Ausschalten der Werbetrommel genutzt. Die Steuerung erlaubt auch, daß unterschiedliche Programme in Abhängigkeit von Tageszeit und Aufstellungsort gefahren sowie spontane Änderungen der Werbekampagne vorgenommen werden können. Durch die Verwendung eines zeitprogrammierten Impulsgebers lassen sich die Schrittmotoren so steuern, daß jedes Werbebild unterschiedlich lange und eine beliebig vorgebbare Zeit der Werbefläche zugeordnet wird, beispielsweise durch ein sowohl bei Vor- als auch Rücklauf betätigtes Zählwerk kann der Impulsgeber das jeweilige durch die Werbefläche gerade präsentierte Werbebild erkennen und die vorprogrammierte Verweildauer einstellen.
