Abstract

A device the for in-register transfer of sheets and for the conveyance thereof between the printing units of a multi-color press by means of gripper carriages that move on rails and which are driven by an endless chain and which are aligned on the delivery and feed cylinders by rotating drive forks and that cooperate with a cam roller carried by the carriage. For joint axial and radial alignment with quiet entry the drive fork has leading and trailing flanks of different thicknesses and the flanks are guided into engagement with the cam roller by hardened guide plates in the gripper carriage. The leading flank is undersized and the second flank has the dimension necessary for establishing proper registration of the carriage.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zur paßgenauen Bogenübergabe zwischen den Druckeinheiten einer Mehrfarbendruckmaschine nach dem Oberbegriff des ersten Patentanspruches.The invention relates to a device for accurate sheet transfer between the printing units of a multi-color printing machine according to the preamble of the first claim.

Vorrichtung genannter Art sind allgemein bekannt und z.B. in der CH-PS 653 614 beschrieben. Nachteilig ist, daß eine separate Ausrichtung z.B. durch einen in einen Schlitz am Greiferwagen einlaufenden Paßzahn gemäß CH-PS 483 926 zusätzlich vorgesehen werden muß, um die Greiferwagen kurz vor ihrer Starrsetzung auch axial registerhaltig ausrichten zu können. Hinzu kommt das Problem des Einlaufens in den Schlitz am Greiferwagen, wo Abweichungen des Greiferwagens gegenüber der Sollage schlagartig beseitigt werden.Devices of the type mentioned are generally known and e.g. in CH-PS 653 614. Die Greiferwagen 3 sind auf Schienen 12 geführt und werden von endlosen Ketten 4 angetrieben. In einem Schlitz des Greiferwagens 3 sind ferner gehärtete Führungsplatten 17, 18 vorgesehen, in denen die Fanggabeln 11 geführt wird. Durch die unterschiedlich starken Flanken 15, 16 wird zugleich im Zusammenwirken mit den gehärteten Führungsplatten 17, 18 ein beruhigter verschleißarmer Einlauf erreicht. Claims (2)

  1. Transfer and transport device for sheets between the print units (1, 2) of a multicolour printing press by means of gripper carriages (3) movable on rails (12) which are driven via slide connections (7, 8) by endless chains (4) and which are aligned on the take-off (5) and feed drum (6) by circulating catch forks (11) and cam rolls (10) engaging in the catch forks (11), characterised in that one catch fork (11) per drum (5, 6) has differentially thick flanks (15, 16) and that the flanks (15, 16) are guided against hardened guide plates (17, 18) in the gripper carriage (3).
  2. Device according to Claim 1, characterised in that the first flank (16) has a reduced dimension and the second flank (15) is provided with the dimension a for a register correct sheet transfer.
