Abstract
Oxidkathodendrähte werden in der Weise hergestellt, daß ein Wolframdraht durch kataphoretisches Beschichten mit emissionsfähigem Material überzogen wird. Dabei ist es wichtig, daß die Beschichtung auf der ganzen Drahtoberfläche eine sehr gleichmäßige Dicke hat. Dies wird in einfacher Weise dadurch erzielt, daß am Anfang des Beschichtungsverfahrens die Stromrichtung kurzzeitig umgepolt wird, so daß der zu beschichtende Wolframdraht als Anode geschaltet ist. Die übrige Beschichtung erfolgt in bekannter Weise mit als Kathode geschaltetem Wolframdraht.
