Claims (4)

  1. Fan, more especially for hair driers, comprising a cup-shaped housing cap which is disposed on the fan housing and engages over the suction opening, said cap having a plurality of slots for conducting intake air in the cap base concentrically and radially of an annular area of the edge region, said slots communicating with respective axial slots which extend in the circumferential area of the fan cap, characterised in that the central axes of the slots (6), which slots are provided in the edge region of the housing cap (4), are orientated inwardly from externally in respect of their inclination relative to the radii (7) in the opposite direction to the circumferential direction of the fan and form an acute angle with the radii (7).
  2. Fan according to claim 1, characterised in that the central axes of the slots (6) each form a straight line.
  3. Fan according to claim 1, characterised in that the central axes of the slots (6) form acurate lines (Figs. 3 and 4).
  4. Fan according to claim 1, characterised in that, when viewed from above, the slots (6) are provided in the base (4') of the housing cap and are inclined to the left or right.
