Definitions
- the invention relates to a device for spinning threads according to the preamble of claim 1.
- Spinning machines are known in which the rovings are wound on so-called double-band spools.
- Two rovings preferably those made of combed wool fibers, but possibly also made of other fibers or of mixed fibers, are wound parallel to each other on each such double tape reel.
- the two rovings each forming a sliver must be removed from the double sliver reel at the same time.
- the spinning machine can preferably be a ring spinning machine, but possibly also another spinning machine that has draw frames and that produces threads, such as a bell spinning machine, a winding spinning machine or the like.
- the device according to the invention according to claim 1 ensures that in the event of a yarn breakage, the feed of roving from the relevant double tape reel is stopped as a whole, that is to say at both spinning positions of the pair of spinning positions concerned.
- the device according to the invention reduces the roving consumption and the risk of winding formation on the drafting rollers, since if at one of the two spinning positions or both spinning positions of the respective pair of spinning positions, a thread break caused by the thread application carriage from a basic, by the sensing and / or test equipment for a reason that cannot be remedied, then attempts to repair the thread breakage are omitted at both spinning positions.
- inventive measure according to claim 1 is also provided in the device according to the invention. But even a device in which only the measure is provided either according to claim 1 or claim 2 brings significant advantages.
- the stop means assigned to the individual pair of spinning stations can be formed by a single common stop device for the two spinning stations or by two stop devices separate for both spinning stations.
- the two separate stop devices can each be triggered jointly by a thread break signal from any of the two thread break sensors of the respective spinning station pair.
- the common stop device can be designed in such a way that it has a stop element that stops the rovings together at both spinning positions or stop elements that are mechanically coupled to one another.
- the separate stop devices can have the same or similar design as the stop devices of prior art ring spinning machines, in which each stop device assigned to a spinning station can be actuated independently without coupling to an adjacent stop device, with the difference that the two separate stop devices assigned to a pair of spinning stations can each be operated together , be it by mechanical coupling and actuation by means of a single actuator or by an actuator assigned to each spinning station, these two actuators then being actuatable together.
- Such an actuator can, for example, have an electromagnet in a known manner.
- Other suitable designs of the stop means assigned to a pair of spinning stations are of course also possible, since in the end it is only important that they stop both rovings coming from a sliver, preferably at the same time. However, it may also be provided that the stop means at the two spinning positions of the individual pair of spinning positions are activated in quick succession to stop the rovings.
- the removal of the two thread breaks on a pair of spinning stations can be done manually or by means of an automatically operating thread-attaching carriage in the device according to claim 1.
- stop device or devices of this pair of spinning stations set in their inactive state may not yet be reactivated during the repair of both thread breaks.
- switching means that can be actuated manually or automatically can be provided. E.g. They can consist of a manually operated electrical switch, which is switched off by an operator before the beginning of the rectification of the two thread breaks on a pair of spinning stations and thereby switches off the two thread break sensors of this pair of spinning stations from the assigned stop device.
- the stopping means can be activated again by each of the two thread break sensors to stop the rovings.
- the switching means which can switch off the thread break sensors from the stop means of the respective spinning pair, automatically in the wake of the feeling of a thread break by any one of the two thread break sensors or by the stop means in the wake their respective activation in their switching state causing the shut-off of the two thread break sensors by the relevant stop means.
- Thread break sensors can reactivate the stop means, but not during the time of the thread break repair.
- Signaling means can also be provided which supply switch-on signals to these switching means during the operation of the spinning machine at predetermined time intervals, preferably periodically, and at the same time to all of these switching means on the relevant spinning machine, in order to ensure that, if for any reason, the re-activation of such a pair of spinning stations assigned switching means is omitted, for example, is forgotten by the operator, but this switching means is automatically reactivated.
- switch-on signals can be repeated at intervals of a few minutes.
- the device according to claim 2 always has a thread piecing carriage.
- Your testing and / or sensing means can be designed to detect whether roving yarns of these two spinning stations can be fed to both spinning stations of the respective spinning station pair and / or if there are runners on both spinning stations on their spinning rings in the case of ring spinning devices and / or whether predetermined drafting system rollers of the drafting systems are free of fiber coils and / or whether the pair of spinning stations in question is registered as "dead”.
- Thread piecing carriage further comprises means which recognize spinning station pairs registered as “dead” or spinning station pairs registered as “dead” and cause the thread piecing carriage to make no attempts at eliminating threads at each such spinning station pair carries out.
- Thread application carriage is briefly stopped at the respective “dead” pair of spinning stations and the test is carried out to determine whether it is registered as “dead” or has a spinning station registered as “dead”.
- the thread-setting carriage stops its thread break repair work at the first spinning station of a pair of spinning stations without result and registration of this spinning station pair is triggered as "dead", it then does not attempt to break the thread at the other spinning station of this pair of spinning stations, but rather the sliver stop means be operated at this spinning station to interrupt the roving feed.
- An operator can delete the "dead" registration of a spinning station or a pair of spinning stations if the operator has remedied the fault in question.
- the warped sliver is delivered by the pair of delivery rollers 14 and immediately turned by a ring spinning device 17 into a thread 16 which is used on a spool or sleeve 19 attached to a spindle 18.
- the spindle 18 penetrates a spinning ring 20 which a ring bench 21 is arranged and on which a rotor 22 is slidably mounted, which is dragged by the thread 16 on its way from a thread guide 23 to the driven spindle 18 and gives the thread 16 the rotation.
- the rotor 22 stops and the thread break sensor 24, which is opposite the runner's orbit, and which can work, for example, inductively, feels the absence of the continuous running of the steel runner 22 and then signals that there is a thread break.
- This signal is fed to a stop device 25, which is jointly assigned to two adjacent spinning stations forming a pair of spinning stations and can be activated by each of the two thread break sensors 24 of this spinning station pair to simultaneously stop the two rovings 15 running in from these same spinning stations from the same double-band reel 26.
- These two rovings 15 therefore run together towards the two adjacent drafting systems 11 of a pair of spinning stations.
- the stop device 25 has two shells 29 which extend over a little more than 180 ° of the circumference of the lower feed roller 27, which are firmly connected to one another by a common connecting web 30 and which hold themselves on the lower roller 27.
- the upper rollers pressed against the lower roller 27 are designated 31.
- a manually operable lever 32 is arranged, by means of which this stop device 25, when activated, ie the stopping of the rovings 15 has been triggered, can be returned to its normal operating position in which it runs the rovings 15 are not hindered. This can be done manually or automatically from a thread transfer carriage 40. However, if a thread break occurs at any of the two spinning stations 10 of a spinning station pair 50, which are supplied by the spool 26 together with a roving 15, the thread break sensor 24 in question senses this and triggers the excitation of an electromagnet 33 of the stop device 25, the latter Anchor 34 normally holds web 30 and thus the two shells 29 in the position shown in FIG.
- a thread attachment carriage 40 runs along this spinning machine for the automatic search and removal of thread breaks. It has the equipment required for thread breakage correction, which can be of a known type and therefore requires no further explanation and is also not shown.
- This thread piecing carriage 40 has two thread breakage sensors 41 which sense when there are thread breaks at the two spinning positions 10 of any pair of spinning positions 50 at which the thread placement carriage 40 arrives. The carriage 40 then stops under certain conditions described below to remedy the two thread breaks, in which case it first fixes one thread break and then continues to run so that its Thread break repair equipment can also fix the other thread break.
- each pair of spinning stations 50 is assigned a signal transmitter 42, which on arrival of the threading carriage 40 at this spinning station pair signals a receiver 44 arranged on the carriage 40 whether roving 50 is present at both spinning stations 10 of this pair of spinning stations.
- This can be sensed, for example, by means of two photo-optical sensors, which are arranged in front of the drafting devices 11 in question on the running paths of the rovings concerned.
- Each of the two yarn break sensors 41 on the yarn feed carriage 40 can also close a switch 41 ⁇ by means of a common actuator 41 ⁇ that can be actuated by it if it senses a yarn break at the associated spinning position of the pair of spinning positions 50.
- a signal transmitter 43 is also arranged at each spinning station 10.
- Two receivers 45 are arranged on the threading carriage 40 at the same distance as the two adjacent signal transmitters 43 of the individual pair of spinning stations 50.
- the signal transmitters 43 signal the receivers 45 of the thread piecing carriage 40 arriving at the respective spinning station pair 50 whether one of the two spinning stations 10 is registered as "dead". This registration can always be made, for example, by folding up the thread guide 23 by means of an actuating device 55 arranged on the thread piecing carriage, if the thread piecing carriage 40 immediately unsuccessfully carried out a predetermined number of thread breakage attempts.
- the receiver 45 then feels on arrival of the thread transfer carriage whether the thread guide 23 is folded up or not. This can be done, for example, by arranging a reflective film on the thread guide 23, which only reflects the light of a light transmitter arranged on the thread application carriage to the receiver 45 when the thread guide 23 is folded up.
- the receiver 45 If neither of the two receivers 45 feels the folded-up position of the thread guide at any of the two spinning positions 10 of the pair of spinning positions 50, the receiver 45 triggers an actuator 45 ⁇ to close a switch 45 ⁇ .
- the switches 41 ⁇ , 44 ⁇ , 45 ⁇ are normally open. In series with them is a switch 59, which on arrival of the receivers 44, 45 opposite the signal encoders 42, 43 are closed briefly and then opened again.
- the thread attachment carriage 40 now only stops to correct the two thread breaks on a pair of spinning stations 50 if, when the thread attachment carriage 40 arrives at the respective spinning station pair 50, all four switches 59, 41 ⁇ , 44 ⁇ and 45 ⁇ are closed.
- the switch 4108 is closed by each of the two thread break sensors 41 whenever it feels a thread break, for example photo-optically feels the absence of the thread between the relevant drafting arrangement 11 and the thread guide 23.
- switches 44 ⁇ and 45 are always closed when rovings are present at both spinning positions and neither of the two spinning positions is registered as a dead spinning position.
- each activation of a stop device 25 has the direct consequence that the two yarn break sensors 24 are now switched off by the stop device 25, namely by opening a switch 49 by means of an actuator 58 controlled by the stop device 25.
- the stop device 25 must first be inactivated so that threads can be spun at these two spinning stations 10 again. This takes place in that the thread application carriage 40, after it has stopped at the relevant spinning station 10, inactivates the stop device 25 again, which can be done, for example, by an actuator 56 arranged on the thread application carriage 10, indicated by dash-dotted lines in FIG.
- the switch 49 were already switched on before the thread breaks on this pair of spinning stations 50 have been remedied, then at least one of the two thread break sensors 24 would immediately activate the stop device 25 again. In order to prevent this, the switch 49 is only closed again after both thread breaks have been remedied, which is done by means of an actuator 52 arranged on the thread attachment carriage 40, which moves a plunger 53 in the direction of the double arrow to the switch 49 to close it and then returns to the starting position can. As soon as this has taken place, the thread application carriage 40 is started again to continue its search for thread breaks.
- the closing and opening of the switch 59 of the thread-attaching carriage 40 can be triggered, for example, by means of a transmitter or transmitter 61 arranged on the relevant pair of spinning stations, which cooperates with a receiver 62 arranged on the carriage 40.
Abstract
Device for spinning threads from roving. Spinning units (10) are arranged on a spinning machine, with two adjacent spinning units - hereinafter referred to as a pair of spinning units - the rovings (15) to be drawn can be fed from a common double band reel. In order to reduce roving losses and the risk of winding formation on drafting rollers (12, 13, 14), the two spinning positions of each pair of spinning positions are assigned at least one stop device for stopping and releasing the roving feed to the two drafting systems of the respective spinning position pair, which are activated by each of the two thread break sensors ( 24) this pair of spinning stations can be triggered for simultaneous stopping of both rovings. For the same purpose it can also be provided that a thread break repair is only carried out by a thread piecing carriage (40) if there is not at least one reason preventing the thread break repair from succeeding.
Description
The invention relates to a device for spinning threads according to the preamble of
Spinning machines are known in which the rovings are wound on so-called double-band spools. Two rovings, preferably those made of combed wool fibers, but possibly also made of other fibers or of mixed fibers, are wound parallel to each other on each such double tape reel. The two rovings each forming a sliver must be removed from the double sliver reel at the same time.
The spinning machine can preferably be a ring spinning machine, but possibly also another spinning machine that has draw frames and that produces threads, such as a bell spinning machine, a winding spinning machine or the like.
It is with ring spinning machines, to which rovings are not fed from double ribbon spools, but instead each spinning station the roving is fed from its own roving spool assigned only to this spinning station, it is known to assign each spinning station a separate stop device for stopping the roving in the wake of a thread break, so that on the one hand there is no unnecessary consumption of roving and on the other hand there is no risk of winding Draw frame rollers through the roving until the thread break is eliminated. However, the known stopping devices cannot be used in spinning machines working with double-band spools.
It is therefore an object of the invention to provide a spinning machine of the type mentioned, in which, in the case of yarn breaks, too, the risk of winding formation on drafting rollers is eliminated or at least reduced and the consumption of roving in the event of yarn breaks is reduced.
This object is achieved according to the invention by the device specified in
The device according to the invention according to
As a result, unnecessary consumption of roving is reliably avoided, and there is also no longer the risk that strong fiber windings can form as a result of thread breaks on drafting rollers, so that there is no longer any risk of drafting damage or the like caused by strong fiber windings.
The device according to the invention, according to claim 2, reduces the roving consumption and the risk of winding formation on the drafting rollers, since if at one of the two spinning positions or both spinning positions of the respective pair of spinning positions, a thread break caused by the thread application carriage from a basic, by the sensing and / or test equipment for a reason that cannot be remedied, then attempts to repair the thread breakage are omitted at both spinning positions. Otherwise, it could happen, for example, that the thread application carriage is present at both spinning positions at the same time, as it always occurs when the device according to
Unnecessary loss times of the thread piecing carriage are also avoided, thus increasing its productivity.
It can preferably be provided that the inventive measure according to
In the device according to
The stop means assigned to the individual pair of spinning stations can be formed by a single common stop device for the two spinning stations or by two stop devices separate for both spinning stations. The two separate stop devices can each be triggered jointly by a thread break signal from any of the two thread break sensors of the respective spinning station pair. Or the common stop device can be designed in such a way that it has a stop element that stops the rovings together at both spinning positions or stop elements that are mechanically coupled to one another.
The separate stop devices can have the same or similar design as the stop devices of prior art ring spinning machines, in which each stop device assigned to a spinning station can be actuated independently without coupling to an adjacent stop device, with the difference that the two separate stop devices assigned to a pair of spinning stations can each be operated together , be it by mechanical coupling and actuation by means of a single actuator or by an actuator assigned to each spinning station, these two actuators then being actuatable together. Such an actuator can, for example, have an electromagnet in a known manner. Other suitable designs of the stop means assigned to a pair of spinning stations are of course also possible, since in the end it is only important that they stop both rovings coming from a sliver, preferably at the same time. However, it may also be provided that the stop means at the two spinning positions of the individual pair of spinning positions are activated in quick succession to stop the rovings.
The removal of the two thread breaks on a pair of spinning stations can be done manually or by means of an automatically operating thread-attaching carriage in the device according to
The removal of a thread break at a spinning station requires in the device according to
Signaling means can also be provided which supply switch-on signals to these switching means during the operation of the spinning machine at predetermined time intervals, preferably periodically, and at the same time to all of these switching means on the relevant spinning machine, in order to ensure that, if for any reason, the re-activation of such a pair of spinning stations assigned switching means is omitted, for example, is forgotten by the operator, but this switching means is automatically reactivated. E.g. such switch-on signals can be repeated at intervals of a few minutes.
The device according to claim 2 always has a thread piecing carriage. Your testing and / or sensing means can be designed to detect whether roving yarns of these two spinning stations can be fed to both spinning stations of the respective spinning station pair and / or if there are runners on both spinning stations on their spinning rings in the case of ring spinning devices and / or whether predetermined drafting system rollers of the drafting systems are free of fiber coils and / or whether the pair of spinning stations in question is registered as "dead".
Namely, it is particularly advantageous to provide that, in the presence of a thread-attaching carriage, it has means which, if it has unsuccessfully carried out a predetermined number of thread breakage attempts, will register this spinning station or the relevant spinning station pair as "dead" and that Thread piecing carriage further comprises means which recognize spinning station pairs registered as "dead" or spinning station pairs registered as "dead" and cause the thread piecing carriage to make no attempts at eliminating threads at each such spinning station pair carries out. This can be provided in such a way that the thread application carriage is briefly stopped at the respective “dead” pair of spinning stations and the test is carried out to determine whether it is registered as “dead” or has a spinning station registered as “dead”. However, it is better to carry out this test with the thread application carriage running and not to stop it at such pairs of spinning positions.
Also, it can preferably be provided that if the thread-setting carriage stops its thread break repair work at the first spinning station of a pair of spinning stations without result and registration of this spinning station pair is triggered as "dead", it then does not attempt to break the thread at the other spinning station of this pair of spinning stations, but rather the sliver stop means be operated at this spinning station to interrupt the roving feed.
An operator can delete the "dead" registration of a spinning station or a pair of spinning stations if the operator has remedied the fault in question.

The
Diese beiden Vorgarne 15 laufen also den beiden benachbarten Streckwerken 11 eines Spinnstellenpaares jeweils gemeinsam zu.If a thread break occurs, the
The
On the connecting web 30 of the two shells 29 a manually
Instead of these two
Furthermore, each pair of spinning
If 10 roving 15 is present at both spinning positions, this is signaled by the
Each of the two
If neither of the two
The switches 41ʺ, 44ʺ, 45ʺ are normally open. In series with them is a
The
As mentioned, switches 44ʺ and 45, are always closed when rovings are present at both spinning positions and neither of the two spinning positions is registered as a dead spinning position.
There are thus two important prerequisites for successful thread breakage elimination at the
As soon as the first thread break occurs at this pair of spinning
As a result, the thread breakage elimination at both spinning
If the
The closing and opening of the
Instead of registering dead spinning positions by folding up thread guides, other registrations can also be provided. The registration of the "dead" spinning station pairs can take place, for example, in a central data store, and the thread application carriage then, upon arrival at a spinning station pair, triggers the question to the data store whether this is registered as "dead" or not. This can be the case each time you arrive at the pair of spinning stations in question or only at pairs of spinning stations with broken threads.
