Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Feststellen und Aus­sondern von fehlerhaften Zigaretten (Fehlzigaretten) im Be­reich eines Zigaretten-Magazins, dessen unterer Bereich aus (Gruppen von) Magazin-Schächten zur Bildung von Zigaretten-­Gruppen und zum Ausschub derselben besteht, wobei die Zigaret­ten oberhalb der Magazin-Schächte in aufrechten Reihen eine Prüfzone (Prüfschächte) durchlaufen, in dieser einzeln ge­prüft und Fehlzigaretten ausgesondert werden. Sie befinden sich nun unterhalb der Trennwän­de 42 und dienen zur Abstützung der jeweils zwei überein­anderliegenden Zigaretten zwischen benachbarten Kammstegen 38. Diese bereits geprüften Zigaretten, einschließlich et­waiger Fehlzigaretten 18 sind mit den Kammstegen 38 in die gezeigte, versetzte Position bewegt worden. Verfahren zum Feststellen und Aussondern von feh­lerhaften Zigaretten (Fehlzigaretten) im Bereich eines Zi­garetten-Magazins, dessen unterer Bereich aus (Gruppen von) Magazin-Schächten zur Bildung von Zigaretten-Gruppen und zum Ausschub derselben besteht, wobei die Zigaretten ober­halb der Magazin-Schächte in aufrechten Reihen innerhalb von Prüfschächten (28) eine Prüfzone durchlaufen, in die­ser einzeln geprüft und Fehlzigaretten ausgesondert wer­den, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß eine der Anzahl der gleichzeitig geprüften Zigaretten (11) entsprechende Anzahl von Zigaretten in jedem Prüfschacht (28) von den nachfolgenden Zigaretten abgesondert werden, insbesondere durch Querverschiebung und daß diese Ziga­retten - gegebenenfalls nach vorherigem Ausstoß von Fehl­zigaretten (18) - sodann nach unten freigelassen werden.1.
