Description

The invention relates to a vacuum cleaner mouthpiece which has a suction channel which is arranged over the width of the mouthpiece and is surrounded by so-called suction edges and which is technically connected to a connecting piece to which a vacuum cleaner can be connected.

Various possibilities for reducing the pushing force in vacuum cleaner mouthpieces are known in the art. DE-OS 31 00 164 shows a vacuum cleaner mouthpiece which is provided with very large supply air ducts for the suction edges of the suction duct. Outside of this there are wings, which are not subjected to any negative pressure. This enables the vacuum cleaner mouthpiece to “float” onto the textile floor, so that the pushing force is reduced.

Furthermore, from DE-PS 28 46 847 vacuum cleaner mouthpieces are known, which consists of an easily movable by means of RoLLen connecting piece, the suction channel and an additional intermediate piece arranged between the two and articulated with both.
This is to prevent the suction edges of the suction channel from lifting or sloping.

However, such mouthpieces must additionally have angular limits in the tilting joint between the connecting piece and the intermediate piece in order to prevent the last link of the joint chain - the suction channel - from "striking through".
Furthermore, such constructions all have a progressive friction characteristic. This means that the greater the carpet resistance, the disproportionately greater the frictional force. The frictional force always creates a moment that is directed into the carpet. This increases the pushing force sharply.

The object of the invention is to provide a vacuum cleaner mouthpiece which has a so-called degressive friction characteristic in a simple manner.

According to the invention the object is achieved by the features of claim 1. Excellent configurations result from the use of individual leaf springs or from limiting resistors that can be moved via film hinges.

The invention thus has the decisive advantage that a vacuum cleaner mouthpiece can be created which has a degressive friction characteristic. It is therefore possible to produce a kind of push force control.

An exemplary embodiment of the invention is drawn and described below.

Es zeigt:

  • Fig. 1: Eine Prinzipskizze eines Staubsaugermundstücks mit aufgehängtem Saugkanal,
It shows:
  • 1: A schematic diagram of a vacuum cleaner mouthpiece with a suspended suction channel,
  • Fig. 2: a vacuum cleaner mouthpiece, in which the suction channel is suspended and sealed over movable walls.

Fig. 1 shows a schematic diagram. A nozzle housing (4) consists of the actual nozzle housing (4) and wheels (8, 9) arranged thereon. At the same time a connection piece (10) is arranged on the nozzle housing (4), which has a connection to the suction channel (1). This connection has an elastically movable position (11). The suction duct (1) is on the nozzle housing (4) via a so-called parallel crank mechanism (2), which is represented here by leaf springs (5), hung up. If the nozzle housing (4) is moved to the left in the image plane and there is negative pressure on the connecting piece (10), a force (F) in the direction of the arrow and a frictional force (R) in the direction of the arrow develop on the suction channel. Due to the frictional force (R), the suction channel (1) on the leaf springs (5) is moved into the dashed position, which is somewhat exaggerated here, and is thereby removed from the base (3). This reduces the force (F). This creates a regulation of the forces required to move. The same applies to the direction of displacement to the right, whereby the direction of the frictional force (R) and the deflection of the suction channel (1) change in the opposite direction. FIG. 2 shows an executable construction of the schematic diagram according to FIG. 1.
The nozzle housing (4) is equipped with a connecting piece (10) and can be moved on the rollers (8 and 9). In this construction, the elastic connection (11) from the basic sketch is formed by walls (6) which are fastened to the nozzle housing (4) and the suction channel (1) via film hinges (7).
They thus simultaneously form the parallel crank drive (2) from FIG. 1.
The suction channel (1) is arranged within an overall frame (12) which moves as an overall part.
